Marlow's Fitness is a personal training studio designed to help people improve their health and quality of life through sound exercise and nutritional program. We are not a membership driven gym. All clients work out with a trainer by appointment only. As a supplement to the cardiovascular and strength training, we offer Yoga classes twice a week.

We attended a group class workout. I truly enjoyed it. The gym is in a very convenient location, clean, and open. Marlo had a great circuit training session for us. He took time for warm up, to explain the exercises, and checked on our form and understanding throughout the session. I highly recommend this gym.

I cannot say enough positive things about Marlow's Fitness. At 59 y.o. I started training with Marlow because I did not know how to weight train without exacerbating a neck issue. He met me where I was and after a year my body, confidence and stamina are all stronger. He offers both training and several fitness challenges with loads of information and motivation. Marlow turned my life around and I could never thank him enough for this. He genuinely cares about each and every client.

I'm 65 YO and have been going to Marlow's Fitness for about 5 years. I previously belonged to LA Fitness and never went because it was so impersonal, the group classes were huge and there was never anyone around to ask questions about proper form and equipment usage. Not true with Marlow's. The group classes are never larger than 5 people and Marlow will remind me of form. He's flexible, easy to discuss personal plans with and knows appropriate work outs for all ages.

When I first started working out at Marlow's Fitness almost 7 years ago, I was relieved by the non-intimidating environment, as I was over 30 and had just begun taking my health and exercise more seriously. Marlow is a supportive trainer that is non-judgmental and partners with his clients to customize workouts based on ability and/or injury, if needed. I continue to work out at Marlow's Fitness for these same reasons, but also because of the efficiency of the workouts, which is extremely important to me, given a hectic work schedule in the healthcare field. I've worked out with Marlow during multiple life phases and he is always encouraging, with great advice. I highly recommend Marlow's Fitness to anyone looking to improve their overall wellness and fitness.

I am 67 years old, still work full time as a mortgage banker and Coach Marlow has been my personal health trainer for almost 10 years. He has adapted my fitness plan to address physical changes as I age but keeps me challenged and accountable. He also appreciates I work full time and works with me on my workout scheduling when necessary. My commitment to my workouts with him are my greatest gift to myself as I progress in my life journey.

We have worked out with Marlow for several years now, he is amazing! He knows how to push you just hard enough to get a great workout while still having fun. While I am going for agility, stamina and strength, my husband is more focused on an advanced workout and building muscle. Beyond being an excellent trainer, Marlow is also a fantastic human being.

Marlow is truly one of a kind - knowledgeable, dedicated, personable, motivating without being judgmental. Marlow meets you where you are, identifies manageable & realistic goals. One of the many things that set him apart is his passion for lifelong fitness. He truly cares about his clients and individualizes programs to meet their goals. He's adept at working with past injuries. His compassion sets him apart. I love that he works with people at all ages and fitness levels. A few years ago, I gave a training package to my husband for our anniversary several years ago and he still continues the routine Marlow created with him. Marlow is warm and funny and motivating - I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. I recommend Marlow's Fitness without reservation to anyone seeking to reclaim their health and mobility, recover from injuries, find a fitness path that doesn't feel like torture. Marlow is committed to helping people to live their best lives - he is without a doubt a treasure. He's changed our lives in measurable terms (blood pressure, BMI, etc.) and more importantly shifted my perspective on lifelong fitness. Can't say enough good things about Marlow's. I worked out at Marlow's Fitness for 5 years and I was in the best shape of my life! Marlow's methods and workout structures are so effective. Since moving away from Austin, I have yet to be able to accomplish the same fitness level on my own. I miss Marlow's Fitness so much!! Not only that but Marlow facilitates community with his carefully planned group circuits and yearly fitness contests (aka Marlow's Movement). I have met some amazing humans at Marlow's gym, some of which are now very close friends. Marlow is a visionary, with his trajectory set on helping as many people as he can raise their health and fitness quotient to enhance quality of life. He always says "I just want you to be happy!"...that says it all.

Marlow is a great trainer and I really enjoy going to his classes. I've belonged to some "big" gyms and know that you get more actual training at a smaller gym like Marlow's. I lost 12 pounds in 3 months and feel stronger now than I have in a long time. You owe it to yourself to check it out!

This is a gem of a fitness club. I am so mad for not discovering this place for the 3 and half years that I lived in Austin. I have been working out since November and I love the format. Marlow organizes everyone into smaller groups and we all work through multiple exercises together. We do cardio first half hour and then weights second half hour. You get a good full workout and everyone in the group are cheer leaders for each other.
I went through a shoulder surgery and he is always there to modify my workout and ask how I am doing every few minutes. He is the best personal trainer yet in a group environment. If you are looking to get fit, this is the place to be. Go check them out and you will not be disappointed. I am sad that I am moving out of state and I hope to find a gym like this at my new place.

Three years ago I exited a job that had me eating and drinking (and eating... and eating...) a LOT. I was my dough-iest self - unhappy with my physical appearance but also lacking any will to workout. Also, I kind of hate to workout. I've tried everything from crossfit to zumba, ecstatic dance (yes, thats a thing) to treadmill monotony. Marlow's is the first thing that stuck.
The workouts aren't easy but they are short enough that I'm not like... "oh jesus, is this over?" 30 minutes of at-your-own-pace cardio without anyone strapping you up to some heart rate monitor and then 30 minutes of circuit training. It's manageable for my attention span, my schedule and doesn't make me feel bad.
You know how sometimes you go to those places and they're encouraging you to "just push a little harder?" Those are the places I want to burn down Carrie-style and never look back. Marlow is supportive without being pushy, understanding but also clear about how you'll reach goals and the environment and the people who go there are more community-oriented than competition-oriented.
Marlow's has made me stronger, healthier, and certainly happier.

The perfect gym for beginners or advanced gym-goers looking for a competitively priced, convenient, and very effective workout. Love the group training and the option for personal training. Marlow and his gym are fantastic. From the first class, I felt accepted and cared about, a complete no judgement zone. His circuit workouts are amazing and feel infinitely stronger then when I started his program. Each days work out focuses on a different part of the body and has varying times for each exercise so each session has it's different challenges. There is always different weight sets so you can make the workout as hard or as easy as you like. I highly recommend taking his class!

After training on my own for many years at various gyms a friend recommended Marlow's Fitness. I've been training with Marlow for three years and my most recent physical indicated no degradation of bone loss (important to me as I age) and I've maintained my weight. Marlow keeps workouts interesting and he is always close by to make sure my form is correct.

I have known Marlow as a friend for about 14 years. About 3 years into our friendship I decided to take the challenge to get fit and to possibly win a trip to Cancun. Marlow makes it so easy to get in and get started. There's never any judgement about what you can and can't do; he never yells at you to keep going and truly cares about you as a person. It's not about how much weight you can lift - it's about being healthy from head to toe - inside and out. Not only have I gotten healthy and fit but I have ran/walked the Cap 10K with my son (which I never imagined I could ever do in my life), and I've participated in several 5K's. Additionally, I have made many lifetime friends that have the same drive I now have to be healthy.

I have worked with Marlow for many years. I recently had to have a hip replacement. Marlow was amazing in the months leading up to my surgery. He tailored my workouts to fit my limited abilities and got me to a great place before surgery. After surgery, I was much further along than my physical therapist, my doctor and myself expected. And, once I was able to start woking out with Marlow post surgery, he again tailored my workouts to where my body was in the recovery process. The one thing I love about Marlow is that he takes you exactly where you are and makes you as strong as you can be! I can't recommend Marlow enough!

Over 10 years ago I started working out at Marlow's Fitness Studio with hope that I would gain strength and endurance. My body had been through a lot (multiple rounds of chemo & radiation), however due to my commitment to my health and Marlow's support and guidance, I am stronger than I ever thought I could be.
Not only did I gained the strength and endurance I was looking for, I have gained confidence, mobility and life long friends. Marlow and his studio has become such an important part of my life. People often ask how and why I get up at 4:15 most mornings. Marlow's the best. He's helped me lose 60 pounds, get in the best shape of my life, improve my overall health, and gain better management of my diet.
The Marlow's Movement Challenge is the best fitness challenge in Austin at getting results. I've seen dozens of people, year after year, lose 20, 30, 40, or 50 pounds. The team competition and incentive of winning a trip to an all-inclusive resort in Cancun really get people motivated. Marlow's Movement gets people to push beyond what they typically do at other gyms and to put health, diet, and exercise together for 16 weeks for amazing results.
