This man is completely and utterly amazing! I have been taking my 13-year-old son who has recently under gone a radical surgery to eventually learn how to walk. Matt connects with him and has motivated my son to a point no one else ever has. I see weekly improvements! I’ve known Matt since 2006- he is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced trainer! If I could I’d go to his amazing gym every day! When I first started with him he showed me how I wasn’t believing in myself enough. He is fun, makes you work harder than you ever thought you could! I started my journey with Matt 2 months ago. I called him and scheduled an appointment to see the gym and see options for me. I have had several back, knee and hip surgeries and was concerned that would be overlooked. From the moment I met Matt I knew he was the trainer for me. He listens to me, he takes my physical limitations into consideration each and every workout. He not only is a trainer but gives suggestions on clean eating and had knowledge and experience in stretching and physical therapy techniques.
So far I have lost 14 pounds and 6 inches in 2 months but gained a whole lot of self esteem and confidence. Matt is amazing and knowledgeable in all areas. He LISTENS yet gives suggestions. He encourages and is truly happy for each goal you meet and encourages when you don’t feel you’ve met your goal. I 1000% recommend Matt and this gym. Never once has he been anything but a professional athlete and trainer. You won’t find a better place to workout. Because he truly does care for each client.

matt was very passive aggressive especially when tell him you decide to go a different route in your workout and fitness. I did not feel comfortable even discussing different options or workouts as he seemed to belittle you over anything that was not in his agreement. After reading past low reviews it seems like he put the blame anywhere other than what he could do better. In the end I do not recommend.

Working out hasn’t always been easy, i’ve always struggled with my asthma and keeping on with exercise. The people here are amazing. It’s a small gym loaded with perks that other gyms might not have, such as: massage therapy, nutrition counseling, shakes, chiropractic/stretching pro’s. It feels personal, safe, welcoming, and tailored to my needs as I have some physical limitations. Ladies (or other men) who might be nervous working with a man, Matt is a gem of a human being. He does everything possible to keep the environment safe and as comfortable as possible. I recommend this place for anyone wanting to work on their overall health as this gym focuses on more than just working out.

A few months ago my back and right leg went out. I couldn't walk without the aid of crutches. Went to the emergency room 3 times and I still didn't get better. My wife told Matt what was going on with me seeing as I worked with him before for weight loss and she still does and he told her to tell me to come in and talk to him. I did so and he told me that he had gone through the same thing some years ago and it bothered him for 6 months. He said stretching got him through it. I had already been down for about 3 months. He told me that I needed certain muscles to be stretched and that should help in getting me back to walking and pain free. Lord knows the hospitals weren't helping. Just kept giving me meds and they kept trying to say it was my hip. I know the difference between my hip and my back and leg and my hip wasn't hurting. After the 1st day of stretching, (3weeks in total), with Matt, I actually walked out carrying the crutches in my hand. I've been walking and have been pain free ever since. I have to admit that when he 1st told me I needed to stretch, I thought he was crazy. Boy was I wrong. Matt really knows his stuff. I highly recommend that if you're having trouble losing weight, problems with muscles, or anything along those lines, go see Matt. He's really, really good.

Matt and his gym along with my new workout buddies have truly been a life changing decision for me. I decided to go to Matt’s Personal Training because I needed help with losing weight and have a hip injury that I didn’t want to further injure and I couldn’t be more happy with my decision. I’ve been going to his gym since December 2020 and from my initial phone consultation and every workout session since Matt has been extremely professional and nice always motivating me to push myself a little harder to reach my goal. I started off only wanting to workout by myself in fear of being judge but Matt has truly created a judgement free environment that has allowed me to lose my fear and actually enjoy working out with others. I’ve been to other gyms but it’s just something about Matt’s gym that makes me feel welcomed each time I walk through the door. My results since starting are amazing as the scale and measuring tape don’t lie I can’t see myself going back to any other gym.

I had an appointment today at 10:30. I was a bit late because I had never been here before. They said to look for the text so I can confirm my appointment. I sat in the waiting room at 10:42 for 3 minutes and waited as the sign instructed me that they were with a client. Then I realized, I never confirmed the appointment because I never got a text with a link to confirm my appointment, so how could they know I was even there if I just walked in and sat down? So I couldn't do much in the way of confirming my appointment and I left. Honestly how did they get so much wrong with a new potential client? I drove all the way out there just to be ignored and disappointed.

Matt has been working with my elderly Mom for a few months now. He has specialized a program to fit her specific limitations and needs. She literally walks in using her walker, walks out and forgets she needed it! Matt is like a miracle we never thought was possible! Matt has a fantastic facility and a great attitude. I went in to work on some general strength training last summer and if I still had the time I’d prob still go! The gym is such a nice space (waaaaaaay nicer than the giant chain places). Matt has a great personality and is very encouraging. His rates are extremely affordable and he even offers open gym hours so if you don’t want or can’t do one-on-one sessions you can just go in on your own time! Support local businesses!

Matt is an amazing trainer. He works with individual goals and helps one to achieve them based on fitness level and capability. He will push you though! I’ve been going to him about 5 months and was discouraged because I wasn’t seeing results on the scale. He took my measurements and I lost a total of 5-6 inches! I also maxed push-ups and sit-ups on my Army Physical Fitness test. If you have an injury he is also “the one”. I recently strained my shoulder and he’s helped to strengthen it without causing further injury. He even gave me stretches and exercises to do on my own. Best training experience I ever had I have been going for almost 2 years now and Matt is nothing but accommodating he schedules around a time that works for you ! And is very personal not a trainer that just tells you what do and walks away while you do it he even works out with you !!

I purchased 12 session training for my parents for a Christmas gift. I spoke with Matt personally. He assured me that he would be able to work with them and around their schedules. I asked him what times he had available, he told me that they could schedule at anytime during his business hours. I paid $350 and basically lost my money. Every time my mother tried to schedule training he was never available. She tried to work around his time but when she called he never answered his phone or responded back to her text. My dad only used 1 session out of his package because of the difficulty scheduling. Don't waste your time. I say find another trainer.

I’ve been working with Matt since November 1. 2017 and In 4 months I’ve managed to loose 25 lbs. (with hoshimoto thyroiditus, and 4 pregnancies ) against all my primary dr and endocrynologist pestemistic view telling me I could never loose weight that I would always gain. They only offered me one aspect and that was nutrition class after nutrition class. You see I had the tools of nutrition and a willingness and My diet wasn’t the issue, but I needed more help to loose weight with the thyroid issue. Matt is awesome! We started two months ago and i have lost 45lbs already. His workouts are hard and challenging but so worth it!! I absolutely give Matt Adams the highest rating as a personal trainer and care provider. Prior to meeting him I had trainers but they always pushed me so hard that I would injure myself. Matt takes great care to not injure his patients so that they can keep striving for higher goals without setbacks. He's always been very flexible with scheduling and he's a very hard worker. He keeps your goals attainable and focused. On top of everything he has reasonable pricing and he can come to your home for work outs if needed.
