This gym is phenomenal. The environment is open and welcoming with coaches that feel like friends and family. Both my girls go here and absolutely love Coach McKenzy who makes gymnastics super fun while also teaching them so many new skills. Kristy is so incredibly helpful and shows all of the kiddos kindness which is mirrored by her daughter Paxton. When my daughter broke her arm Kristy was there every week checking on her and showing her love.

We are so happy with Maximum Athletics in Conroe! We have tried another gym but it didn’t have the level of competition we are striving for. Dana, Paxton, Kristy, Macie, Mary and Haleigh have been incredible with our two girls and truly care about each of their students. I have two students that attend 2x a week each and we have watched them grow leaps and bounds. They’ve got recreational classes, competitive teams, ninja classes, homeschool and tumbling. There isn’t a day that I haven’t seen hugs aplenty in this gym! So grateful for the solid start we have received. Thanks Maximum!

I was once in gymnastics here with maximum it was such a fun experience and till this day I miss it a lot they helped a lot and it was a very fun friendly environment and I really enjoyed being there but once your much in a older level of difficulty it does become a little strict but my experience there was wonderful 😌 over all

I take my niece here, she loves it. It's like a structured jungle jims. Kids are made to be jumping around the place so it's great that they are learning skills while they are also making new friends. the coaches are great too, well done!

My son and daughter have been going to Maximum Athletics for years and love it! They look forward to seeing their coaches and friends every week. They have attended numerous open gyms and summer camps. Currently, they are attending Ninja Camp. They love it so much that they have been waking up early every single day and are ready to go have fun - that is saying something!! The coaches and staff are friendly and encouraging. My youngest daughter is a team gymnast and absolutely loves maximum, coach Dana is the best! My family (2 boys and 1 girl) have been coming to Maximum in Conroe for several years. After being posted overseas for a little while, my children couldn’t wait to get enrolled again. This past session, my daughter also took a cheer class elsewhere, but during the recent fall enrollment she asked if she could instead swap that other class for an additional one at Maximum. My kids feel at home here. Even though we aren’t on the competitive track, my children benefit from a welcoming and familiar staff that know each of them individually. This is particularly valuable to us, because we nearly always represent in the minority. Relationships really go a long, long way. And our kids have a BLAST.

This gym has high standards for both their athletes and parents. My daughter is on the JO gymnastics team with Coach Dana(she's the best!) this team is very diverse and the gym as a whole is equally diverse. The coaches are all focused on teaching, enhancing, and recognizing the skills of each athlete. Coach Wes, Coach Frank, Coach Dana, and Lori keep this gym running like clockwork. There are classes for people of all income levels here.

My daughter Genesis, was enrolled here for 4 years. But I never noticed any coach acknowledged her presence. However, through-out the years, I noticed multiple coaches come and go. Some good, some not so great. But none of them ever noticed my daughter. They have a preference here. You either have to be wealthy or white for ANYONE to notice you. ONLY reason my daughter remained here for so long, was because she enjoyed the sport. Otherwise, I would have removed her a long time ago. However, this month (July) is her last month. Due to her going to 7th grade and being in advanced classes. Otherwise, she probably would have wanted to stay enrolled.

Came here to try and have my child evaluated while trying to transfer from another gymnastics and basically just shut us off because to them she did not qualify . Did not even watch what she could do , and maybe recommend any other level ! Not worth my time or money ! If you just write off people by just looking at them . I am in shock on how they kicked my daughter out. I made it clear in the beginning that my daughter has ADHD! She gets distracted very easily and I also told them they were allowed to be firm with her to catch her attention! Today my husband got a call that they could not have my daughter attend any longer that the teacher Stacey would not teach if my daughter continued! How discriminate can you be! My daughter was there for fun you could taken another approach but you didn't! Stacey shouldn't be allowed to work with kids.

Trying to get a refund from this facility after their mistreatment to a child is absolutely horrible DO NOT HAVE YOUR CHILD ATTEND HERE!
This facility does not create a safe, fun or encouraging environment for children at all!
We had an incident with a coach at this location who called our daughter a “Cry baby” in front of all her classmates because she was scared to try a pull over bar during class and then had her sit and refrain from the activity.

That is NOT okay. That is not coaching. It is simply bullying and belittling a child at 8 years of age.

I would refrain from using this facility at all costs.

I love the coaches and classes here but the owner has made it difficult for single parents to be able to watch their kids. I have two so I am here twice a week and I cannot take a kid upstairs and your not supposed to watch from the lobby so they want me to drop off and leave. I am not a drop off and leave parent. Nothing wrong with it but I won’t do it with my kids. Something needs to change. I won’t have a babysitter two days a week so I can take one kid at a time to gymnastics.

I've been taking the adult classes for a few months now and love what we've been doing. The facility has been greatly taken care of, things are regularly cleaned, the equipment is kept in really good condition, and working with the coaches has been incredible. The coaches are very motivating, are encouraging and have challenged me with every desired skill. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is curious what gymnastics is all about or anyone who is looking for a fun and consistent way to be active. Coach Kristy is the best!

Not happy at all to find out my account got charged after not being there for 3 months due to the Covid pandemic. So instead of asking if we would be returning they charged my account assuming we would. After addressing this situation they still didn't want to give me a refund. I am so proud to have found maximum athletics in Conroe for my daughter. She wants to be a cheerleader in eighth grade so we are taking the tumbling classes. Coach Wes has been a stellar coach. He pays attention to each girl as they are doing their different activities, he critiques them and give them positive reinforcement on how to become better. My daughter moved up to level III and I knew in my heart I only wanted Coach Wes to be with her and guide her.
My daughter has also had other coaches who are awesome. From the minute you open the front door until your child gets back into the gym everyone is positive and enthusiastic and very professional. I recommend this gem to everyone. I believe they have at least five different types of classes to offer as well.

My daughter and I both started gymnastics classes last month. Coach Mikaela is very patient with my daughter and has taught her so much in the short time we’ve been coming! She is so excited to go to class and so sad to leave! I am taking the adult gymnastics class with Coach Wes! He’s awesome! The class is very encouraging and filled with people of all skill levels. My two girls have been going to Maximum for over two years. They have fantastic coaches and programs. When you are a part o Maximum you feel like you are part of "THE" family. Earlier this year I experinced an extreme accident that had an impact on my children and my wife. I received support and prayers from many. If I could give negative Stars I would. I went in to check out the one in CONROE to see if I'd like to send my daughter there. No she won't be going there. The place was horrible it was dirty smell bad..
The lady at the front desk was horrible if that's the face of their business they need a serious face lift. She was rude to me and my daughter it's pretty sad when you leave a place of business and your child has to ask you how does she still have her job being that rude to people I can't believe they have a person like that dealing with customers and children she was horrible and disgusting

I love the gym and most staff are friendly.
I personally do not recommend Coach Ashlyn G.
She very selective, her focus is only on certain students. She does not help all kids, I asked my daughter why did she only had 1 turn with Coach Ashlyn (I am watching from the window) she said Coach Ashlyn asked her to move to the next one.
I watch my daughter stand in line for her turn, and when her turn comes she gets moved to the next one. I can count the times Coach Ashlyn has helped her and they are all on video.

The receptionist is very friedly and kind. I asked her to move my daughter on a different day with a different coach.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Maximum Athletics for offering your Back Handspring Clinic.

This clinic was beyond my expectations and was a exactly what my daughter needed. Her back handspring has been her arch nemesis for so long. Mostly out of fear of hurting herself. But we couldn’t seem to help her overcome this.
Within the first hour Coach Casey had her doing her first round-off back handspring without spotting….ever! Blows my mind!

She was so elated!
