Metroplex has become a big part of our family! My 6 year old son had his 5th birthday party there and it was FANTASTIC and so affordable. He and his buddies had a blast and the staff were super easy to work with. My son loved it so much we started swimming and ninja classes and it has been so cool to see his confidence and coordination grow. Coaches Emily (swim) and George (ninja) are just the nicest, most approachable people that make my son excited to go to every class. Lastly, my son has attended both summer camp and school break camps and loves them. So many great opportunities for kids of all ages!

My preschool toddler aged children both enjoy their weekly classes with Coach Linda. The free play in the foam pit and tree house area is my 16 month old son's favorite segment of the session. My 3-year old enjoys learning new floor skills with assistance from the coaches.

We love this gym!! My daughter started in the recreational gymnastics class and quickly rose up through the ranks to Pre-Team! She LOVES her coaches and loves learning. The coaches are very knowledgeable and very attentive to their students.

We also have had our daughter's birthday at the gym and was very impressed. All of her friends she invited had a blast and everything was very well organized to accommodate everyone.

I would recommend this gym a thousand times over.

I wish they could separate their gymnastics program apart from everything else being offered. Majority of the negative reviews are not gymnastics related. My daughter is absolutely loving their program. I skipped over this gym so many times because I typically won't consider anything if it isn't atleast 4 star rated. Well, we gave them a try and she is absolutely loving being on pre-team here. The coaches are amazing, they place heavy emphasis on encouraging the girls while teaching them holistically. They demand the best, but more importantly they teach the girls to demand the best from themselves. It's important to know when to push them and when to give space, they've perfected this. I especially love their focus on not putting too much on the girls early on which later causes burnout. Early on, I asked if I could enroll my daughter in one additional weekly class because she constantly begged to go although she has other activities. I was told that isn't an option because as they move up they spend many more hours in the gym. I didn't realize that, I thought "no big deal right?Just another day added." I greatly appreciated how my daughter's long term well being was put above grabbing more money. Everyday I have to hear "Do I have gym today?" Am I am okay with that.

I've randomly gone to the back to watch the older young ladies on team many times, and they seem to be very happy. Working HARD to improve skills but happy. I've seen coach to athlete interactions and very impressed. I put my daughter in their rec classes to learn how to flip safely vs. vaulting on her own on my hardwood floors lol because hello neck injuries! I'm not trying to raise a NCAA champion (if she gets there good for her), I want a happy child. Here, you can get the best of both worlds.❤️

I would not recommend this place for birthday parties please take your money somewhere else. I had my sons 6th birthday party here and it felt like we did not receive the experience that they promote to give and to makes matters worse when communicating the feedback about how the staff did not do what they were suppose to do , I got a “I’m sorry you had that experience” and that was it then received a follow up to offer 2 family nights lol . Basically if you book Saturday during their busy time expect a bunch of employees (who are mostly teenagers) to stand around while the kids go to the front and the back and then will have them sit on the mat and NOT announce what they are doing / what’s going on (it’s the opportunity for them to have a group photo taken) you will not be informed at all and then if you missed it and you tell the staff they take the group by the side entrance door to make things better lol which looked terrible . Additionally they don’t provide the gift bags as they state nor offer and they also didn’t give me the shirt they inquired about my sons size. lol There are alot of similar gyms/ inflatable parks that are a lot better and probably worth spending on then this place! Do not make the mistake I made by hosting a birthday party here.

If I could give Metroplex Gymnastics and Swim 1,000 out of 5 starts, I would — and it still wouldn’t be enough!

We’ve been attending both gymnastics and swim here, and I can say without hesitation that this is hands-down the best place for kids to learn, grow, and thrive. We drive over 30 minutes past countless other gyms and swim schools—yes, I’ve toured them all—and not one of them comes close to Metroplex. It’s in a league of its own.

From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warmth and genuine care. The environment is so positive, encouraging, and joyful. The coaches? Incredible. Our gymnastics coaches, Ms. Charlena and Ms. Julie, are absolute gems. Within just a few classes, they understood my daughter’s personality, temperament, and learning style. That kind of intuition and attentiveness is rare—and they apply it to every child they teach, which just speaks volumes about their experience and dedication.

Even the newer instructors catch on so quickly, and it’s clear they’re being mentored by the best. The entire coaching team is committed not just to teaching skills but to instilling confidence, listening, discipline, and life lessons our kids carry with them beyond the mat.

And the swim program? Just as exceptional. We were recommended to Coach Gage and now I can’t imagine my child swimming with anyone else. He’s patient, talented, and has a way with little ones that makes them excited to learn while still staying focused. My daughter has progressed so much in such a short time—because she feels safe, supported, and encouraged every step of the way.

Even the front desk team goes above and beyond. Ms. Shelli greets us with a smile every single time. Her positivity and kindness set the tone for the whole place.

Metroplex is not just a facility—it’s a community. One where kids are seen, known, celebrated, and uplifted. I feel so incredibly grateful that we found this place, and I’m beyond excited to continue our journey here. Thank you, Metroplex, for creating magic for our children.

I’m beyond frustrated with this gymnastics “Mommy and Me” class. After attending a trial session with my twins, they told me they needed to check with management about whether I could participate with both kids, since there’s only one adult per two children. I explained my husband works during the day and it’s not possible to have two adults present. Despite leaving three messages and emails after the class, I received no response.

Today, I showed up hoping to join, still having heard nothing back. When we arrived, they flat-out denied us entry, claiming they hadn’t even spoken to management. I would’ve understood if the class was full, but there was literally only one other child and mom! This feels like total discrimination against twins and left me and my kids incredibly disappointed and upset. Terrible communication and customer service. Would not recommend.

What a fun lace for a little one’s birthday party. We hosted a joint birthday party at this location in Allen. The party was guided with a party host that walked with you from the beginning to the end. Guest are greeted at the front with a cart to place gifts and the rules are laid out. From there there are two parts of the gym that the party is divided up into. There is a life size treehouse with a zip line that you fall into a foam pit, the kids loved this feature along with trampolines and jungle gym features. The second part of the party was full of voice houses/slides and more trampolines and foam pits. The party room easily fit 30 plus people and you are allowed to bring all your own food and party supplies. No one wanted to leave!! They also have an indoor pool that you can rent. Such a fun party placec, go book one now!!

We absolutely LOVE Metroplex! My 5 year old has done preschool and now pre team gymnastics there with Coach Christina-she’s amazing, kind and patient. All three of my daughters (7,5,2) love doing all the extra events they offer, like Kids Night Out and Open Preschool Gym on Fridays and Schools Out CamThey even begged to have their birthday party there and it was such a hit! It was actually pretty funny because three other kids from my daughter’s class also have had birthday parties there around the same time so we joke that it’s our first grade weekly play date 😃

I want to give a special shout out to Lacey, she always is going all out getting the kids in and engaged and it’s so awesome to see. Every month the preschool has a different theme and the equipment is always decorated and the staff wear themed shirts, it’s just the cutest.

I’ve been part of a lot of gyms through out my life and this one just has something special to it.

Don't recommend classes at Metroplex.

They canceled our swim class multiple times because of issues with their pool water, not providing make up classes since we are not enrolled in a new cycle. This is not acceptable. When trying to talk to someone they only write down your info and tell you someone will get back to you. I called 4 times. I am done with this place. No money back, no make up classes classes. Just paid for nothing.

Didn't like that teachers basically changed every swim class we had.

The entire staff is polite and welcoming, creating a friendly environment that makes our daughters look forward to every class. Highly recommend Metroplex Gymnastics for anyone looking to enroll their children in gymnastics!

We tried swimming lessons at Metroplex for my son for two years and I was beyond disappointed how little his swimming skills improved after two years. Then we quit here and switched to some other school. my son learned way more in two weeks there than he did in two years at Metroplex. I have reasons to believe they intentionally want kids to have a very slow progress.

***DO NOT HAVE YOUR LITTLES TAKE SWIM LESSONS AT THIS PLACE***

Absolutely TERRIBLE service! Let me explain…

First of all, we signed up online a few weeks prior to our swim lessons. We never get any sort of welcome message or reminder. Okay, no big deal but it would be great to know that we are on their radar and that nothing has changed since we signed up. But again, not a deal breaker.

Fast forward today.. My three year old is so excited for lessons! He can’t wait to get in the pool. But remind you, he’s three.

When we arrive, there is no one to greet us or tell us where to go. We turn the corner and there is a table with a couple of what looks to be uninterested employees that seem to be annoyed that we are asking where to go. They point to the back without even making eye contact. Okay, rude but whatever.

Once we are back at the pool, they call my son’s name and he goes back with the teenage “instructor” (I’m putting that in quotations because she was the furthest thing from that). He’s in the 3-5 year old class. His class consists of 3 five year olds and him, a three year old.

He’s starting to get nervous because he feels like he’s with big kids. He doesn’t want to get in right away. But a little encouragement would go a long way. Anything, even a simple “you can do it buddy” would do the trick. Instead, the “instructor” doesn’t even try to console him or give him a little pep talk. Instead, she looks at us and says “i don’t know why he’s not getting in” in the most condescending tone I’ve ever heard. All this happens within 1-2 minutes. So it wasn’t like he was holding up the class.

I was so taken back. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. How dare you look at us like he’s the problem! How dare you embarrass my son because he was nervous. He may be three but he feels emotion.

Now I can’t speak to the actual swim lessons because we were out of there. I wouldn’t trust my pet hamster with these people.

Only giving this place more than one star because the gymnastics classes, parties and open gym every Friday are awesome. We are here for a party just about every month and my kids LOVE IT! We would have hosted one as well, but they were sold out. We recently attended the Santa open gym and it was the most fun my kids have ever had.

If I could give the swim lessons 0 stars I would. We did swim lessons here and I can NOT express how unorganized they are. They used to have swim lessons all day but the schedule started shrinking because they have no staff. The teachers never look like they are happy, classes never start on time and the manager is always dodging emails and phone calls. When you do finally get ahold of her, she has the worst attitude ever and dismisses every concern you have. This morning my friends husband was turned away from classes because he was a little late... The man at the desk then used the excuse that the class was canceled and told him "It's not my fault you were late." Who says that to a paying customer? I think he was just being lazy. Instead of helping him reschedule another class, the man with glasses just argued with him. Someone should really teach these swim employees how to engage with kids and adults. Won't be taking swim lessons anytime soon. The only good thing about the swim lesson was Coach Lauren & KAT and they no longer work here.

One of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had at a kids birthday. First of all when we started opening gifts, which is a normal thing you would expect, right? WRONG. When we started opening gifts, one of their employees stormed in saying "this isn't a service we offer". I'm sorry what? You don't offer the service of letting kids open their gifts?? Seriously one of the most absurd things I have ever heard. Keep in mind this was not disclosed when the party was booked.

To top it all off, you have a 90 minute block. You have 1 hr to play. When that 1 he was up, we literally had one of their employees standing in the doorway, blocking it, not letting any kids go through so they wouldn't play resulting in a room of crying kids. This tactic of theirs was also not disclosed when the party was booked. It was seriously one of the craziest things I've ever experienced at a kids birthday parry.

Seriously, do yourself, and most importantly your child, a favor and do not have your kids birthday party here.

If I could give zero stars I would. We had my granddaughters birthday party at this location and when we tried to open gifts, they told us the opening of gifts was NOT allowed. We were all confused since the highlight of a child's party is when they open gifts. They said that service was NOT included. Perplexed, I responded with, "you don't have to help her open gifts". They did NOT disclose this piece of information when the party was booked. Had we known, we would NOT have had the party at this NON opening of gifts place. Very disappointing and will never have a party here again!! if you want your child to open gifts, don't book your party here!! Oh and, once your time is up to play they were blocking the door and not allowing kids to go out and play making them cry. Awful just awful!!!

I DO NỐT recommended this place for camp at all. They are understaff and didn’t have enough supervision for the kids. My son was beat up by couple kids and had a big scratch on his face yet no one call me to report and gave me any explanation. While their parties are routine and a well oiled machine, the parent's night out and summer camps are run by teenagers and really not a positive environment. My two sons hated their experiences because the other kids there were beyond rude and clique-ish as well as the counselors laughing along instead of standing up for being kind and not speaking down to others. We have not, and will not bring our kids to any camps or PNO due to lack of supervision and poor character of the staff. We came back for swim lessons for our daughter. The lessons are okay. My daughter has not learned to swim like our son did. The pool is completely full with camp kids and there was an incident where a child fell in and our teacher didn't see her. The mother was banging on the glass to try and get the teachers attention. There are no cameras on the pool. After that Jada, the swim manager, did implement new rules. All kids must sit out and not play on the benches. They have a lifeguard now (who sometimes watches but doesn't scan the pool like lifeguards at Hawaiian Falls or YMCA). Even now as I write this the lifeguard has her back to the pool watching camp kids dry off instead of the two classes still in the water. We've been coming here for the past 4 years and I've just seen alot of consistent issues. While managers are great, their kindness has not trickled down into the staff. While we will likely book a birthday party again if we have to for convenience, I cannot recommend their day camps, parent's night out or swim school. We're trying gymnastics at another gym because we've just been soured with multiple poor experiences. I really wish it wasn't going down hill like our experiences have been. I would love to support this place as they have the operations running, but the hiring and staffing really is a weak link for them when it comes to every day customer experience

We love Metroplex!! My daughter has been taking gymnastics for over a year there. We've tried other places and she always chooses Metro. She's 4 and she also attends the summer camp. She loves it so much, she never wants to leave! The kids do all sorts of fun activities all day long from a swim lesson, to gymnastics lesson, ninja gym, open gym, outside play and special events each week.... like the creature teacher, magician and shaving cream! I've read the other reviews on here and have never experienced or seen any mistreatment of employees or kids being hurt and left unattended. In fact if a child does get hurt, they tend to them right away. There are some counselors that are still in high school but most have worked there for several years; and all are nothing short of kind, caring and fun with the kids. The office staff is very knowledgeable and will help you with any questions. Also, I just wanted to mention that they are in fact licensed. I have been really impressed with how clean it is there. The whole gym is cleaned several times a day and my little one has yet to get sick. All in all, I would highly recommend Metroplex for gymnastics, ninja classes, swim lessons and summer camp!

They take away your tokens for classes you have ALREADY PAID FOR when you cancel your membership. But they don’t inform you of that until after it’s too late. Currently they owe me $60 and they don’t seem to care. Dishonest company. I canceled future classes so they don’t continue to automatically charge my card…. That doesn’t mean I am forfeiting classes already paid for. 🤡

My Daughter had her Birthday Party at Metroplex last weekend and I was MAJORLY disappointed in the way things turned out. I actually attended the gym as a kid and I knew how much fun we used to have at the parties and that if it was still the same that my kids would love it. Well there was basically no interaction between the Birthday Host (employee) and the kids other than telling them all the things they couldn't touch or play with and everything felt so rushed. When the kids had maxed their hour in the gym and we went to the party room things were good but still rush, rush, rush. When we went to get our gift bag and shirt for the Birthday Girl they informed us that they were all out of shirts and that there was nothing they could do. (mind you I planned this Birthday Party 4 months in advance) and the gift bag that my daughter received had only a single temporary tattoo and a flyer to advertise for parents night out that they offer. I feel like in this situation that we got ripped off by not getting anything that was advertised online for the party. I am glad that my daughter is only 3 and still had fun but, I will never recommend metroplex to anyone again.

Since 2021, the compliance history via Texas Health and Human Services has identified fourteen deficiencies in Metroplex Gymnastics Allen, including four HIGH deficiencies. Some of these include annual fire inspection (2021 AND 2022), illegal operation (not licensed), essential documentation emergency preparedness plan, requirement of gas leak inspection, and annual sanitation inspection just to name a few.

I came across this information after reporting the facility to the Department of Family Services for an incident involving my daughter which was quickly picked up by the them upon my report.

I would suggest all parents look up the allegations against Metroplex for leaving injured children with no medical care, with broken bones and bloody faces for hours. Had I known what I know now about this facility my child wouldn't have stepped foot in here. In my opinion it is only a matter of time until a child is lost once again or injured in a manner that will cause permanent physical harm or death.

These people don't care about your kids, they care about your money. Parents think that since they sign a waiver there isn't anything they can do and are intimidated. Unfortunately for the owner, waivers don't protect against Texas laws regarding children.

Since I spoke up about this incident, mothers and fathers in Allen have come out of the woodworks about witnessing children almost drown, employees and trainers going silent about unattended injuries, kids unable to be located in the facility for lengths of time, and the list goes on and on. This isn't something I have to make up, it's on the internet and documented by real people who had these things happen to theirs and others children while at Metroplex Gymnastics.

I will not patronize this company! They do not abide by labor laws. A child was told to punch out and proceed to work because they took a break which they are allowed to by law and instead was then belittled by the so called adult in a confrontational manner by calling her a liar and a thief because she took an entitled break. These words to someone's child is absolutely horrible. I believe everyone is allowed to catch a breather and nor did she ask what was the nature of the childs condition. This is disgusting. This is unacceptable and against the law. This will not be tolerated! This hurts my heart that a family oriented establishment would treat a person on their staff this way. The birthday party was a disaster, the room was still dirty 10 minutes into the 15 minutes they give you to set up for the party. The young girl who was there to be our party coordinator didn't do or help with anything, and we were late getting to our own party when the "Gymnastics" portion started. Do not bring your kids here. Absolutely disgusting establishment with extremely disgusting staff. Most of them are teenagers with poor customer service skills and don’t know how to handle young children. And the sanitation of the building is VERY poor. I came for a birthday party and there were roaches actually crawling around the floor, and in the starting gym. The workers were playing around and not fully paying attention to the children. A child fell off the zip line and one of the workers just stood there, then walked past the crying child, all while covering her face to not laugh. Then, an older african american woman started to push through a crowd and began cleaning and blocking the way for all of the parents moving through the gyms. She was extremely rude, plus the way she was talking to one of the workers was incredibly disrespectful and unnecessary. If they weren’t related then the older woman definitely deserved to be punished for the things she said to the young girl (she looked no older than 16). Do not bring your children here if you love them.

The entire staff here is amazing! We signed our daughter up for both gymnastics and swim classes (she’s 3). Gymnastics is wonderful during the school season when it’s not crowded and helps her improve her mobility, motor skill, and to get out some of that wiggly toddler energy. In the summer we drop gym and double up on swim classes. COACH KAT is AMAZING. I cannot rave enough about her and how much she has helped Abigail grow and feel confident in the pool. We went from a screaming toddler to a well equipped confident swimmer. She is very patient and gentle with Abigail while simultaneously pushing her limits so she can grow during class. My daughter is literally obsessed with her and tells everyone how much she loves Miss Kat and that she is THE BEST MISS KAT EVER! We wouldn’t know what to do without her here at Metroplex! So thankful for what she provides our daughter with every Tuesday and Thursday morning.

I have known Metroplex for a long time. The only reason I would give it 2 stars instead of 1 is due to their competitive gymnastics program. The gymnasts are sweet (for the most part) and the coaches provide great training. I would definitely recommend Metroplex if you are looking to join a competitive gymnastics team, but be forewarned about the management and up keep of the facility.

They are constantly looking for new ways to get money. It started out as a solely gymnastics and swimming program, but then grew to include summer camps. When that wasn't enough, they added Parent's Night Out, Tumbling Classes, and an Ninja Warrior Class (which is really just a small obstacle course and warped wall). They even took away the old locker room for the gymnastics teams and converted it into another classroom to accommodate more camp kids. The girls now have to use lockers that are clearly visible from all parts of the gym and offer no privacy. They also attempt to squeeze out additional money through the vending machines. The initial price for all items was $1.00. Even this price wasn't fair for all items, but the prices have since been hiked to $1.50 and now $2.00

But with all of this money, they have never fully brought the building out of its "warehouse" state (the original building design). The ceiling leaks whenever it rains and is stopped by large trash cans placed in the center of the gymnastics floor. The pit often gets wet and they have had problems with mold and bugs getting inside.

The summer camp is poorly run, as they look to cheap labor (teenagers). They have little to no experience working with children and cannot provide adequate care. Not all of them are bad, but some are. Only send your kids to camp if they are old enough or have older friends that can watch out for them.

Best of luck when dealing with Metroplex!

Incredibly disappointed in this gymnastics.. Booked a free appointment to see if this was the right place for my 2 girls. Absolutely not. My littlest cried because the instructor(Sophie)was talking to her so strict even though she was behaving so good. Even my 7 year old said that her instructor(Sophie)was getting mad at her, it could be because of the stress but that is no excuse to take it out on a child. Would not recommend for people who love their kids.

My kids have loved their time at Metroplex. We have had numerous experiences. They have been great with my 2yo adventurous daughter. So patient and pushing her to me things in Gymnastics. My 5yo daughter did great in Gymnastics and is looking forward to starting swimming lessons soon. Both the 2yo and my 8yo will be joining her in swim. Everyone is so helpful and accommodating. We have been very pleased.

I don't know how their gym normally operates but the summer camp was a huge disappointment. The front of house is rude and unprofessional. The staff is young and unknowable. My kids cried while there and begged to never go back. For what they charge (it's not cheap), you can send your kids to a much higher quality camp. I wouldn't trust these people with my kids ever again. Don't be fooled by the pictures online (we were), it isn't like that.

They did two of the half day camps which worked perfectly with our schedule. They had swim lessons in the morning, and then fun activities the rest of the day. They were given a t-shirt too! Metroplex Gymnastics offered so many fun and exciting activities for kids this summer! I’m planning on signing my boys up for a couple more days before school starts!

We are also have in my son’s birthday party there at the end of July! We went to a birthday there in the spring, and I thought it was just done so well, and my son had so much fun, he wanted to have his party there!

I had been a parent whose older kids (now high schoolers) went to Metroplex and started our youngest 2 years ago. The lack of supervision of the kids during “free time” at end of class and coaches talking to each other instead of watching the kids caused me to pull my kid after she was almost kicked in the head by another student when another student used the rope to swing into the pit my kid was still in. I immediately spoke to the front desk who tried to excuse the fact it was a new coach and chastised me on how I brought it to their attention. I would avoid this place who has seemed to moved from seasoned coaches to less experienced ones that are not paying attention to the kids to avoid injuries.

I love this place! We first came for a Birthday party and it was a blast. I came to the website and saw the advertising for their spring break camp (which was only two weeks away) and signed 4 of our kiddos up. It included swim lessons too. The kids loved it. Today is the last day of camp and 2 of the kids were sick this morning and they had no problem issuing a refund (or in my case, credit to our account so we can come back again). We also had a small issue with a bully and they addressed it immediately. Would, and already have, recommend this place to anyone!

Half of his face was bleeding and swollen.
No one called me at time of the accident and no one seemed to know what happened when I came to pick him up. My kid was hurt pretty bad .

My son attended this school when he was very little. He was in their GAP (gymnastics and preschool) program. The daughter (Sharla Streeter Gant) of the owner was his teacher. He had been attending for a couple weeks when one day we picked him up and he was red-faced and had been crying. No one said anything to us. When we got home, he explained the teacher had picked him up by putting her hands under his armpits and "slammed him into the wall". He acted out and demonstrated what had happened. He said he and another little boy had been running and playing and the teacher got mad at him. He had a large red mark on the right side of his back. When we inquired at the school about what had happened, the employees denied anything had happened. After several phone calls and inquiries, the "teacher" stated she "had assisted our son to timeout" and he may have scraped his back on the cabinet counter top. (She had picked him up and pushed him against a wall of cabinets that had a countertop catching the small of his back on the right side on the countertop). We took our son to the doctor but his injury was only the mark on his back that was becoming a bruise. I asked them to document it. We contacted Child Protective Services and the Allen Police Department. When the authorities contacted Metroplex Gymnastics, they claimed he fell off the table and the owner's preschool grandson was their corroborating witness. So it was our little boy's word and bruised back against that entire family. Our son was not ADHD and did not have behavioral issues. There was not any reason to slam him into the cabinets. There was never an apology or anything from the owners of Metroplex Gymnastics. The grandmother owner only wanted to know if we were going to keep our son in class because they needed to fill the slot. I wouldn't trust any them with my dog and for sure not a small child. Although this happened several years ago, it appears from recent reviews that the school did not improve.

3.3 is far above what this score should be. The owner is full of himself and refuses to take customer criticism. Instead of discussing anything with an angry customer they will kick them out of the Gymnastics facility. The owner doesn't care about about the customer and far more about his own ego. I would advise anyone to not do business with this Company and go to a different facility. The staff is generally fine. They have a bit of a problem with unruly kids. Please be advised the owners here are the problem. I hope you reconsider doing business with this location rather than risking upsetting the owner.

Please read and BELIEVE the reviews! The staff is rude and unorganized as described. The summer camp is run by all teenagers with no adults or upper management in the building. Beware! They offer to take your kids to the classrooms in the mornings because there is no supervision in every classroom. On several different days, I pointed this out to management. I enrolled my kids for one month, but pulled them out after one week due to all of the issues (no supervision, teenage instructors yelling at the kids at the top of their lungs, lost swim gear that was labeled). It is just a matter of time before their luck runs out and the bad practices in this establishment result in serious injury or harm to a child.

I'm exstreamly mad at this place. Both last Friday and this Friday I was told they were going to have there Open Preschool Gym. Last Friday I was told they got there dates messed up and it would be open Sept 1st. So yesterday Aug 31st I called spoke to a lady asked her if Open Gym would be open. She said yes and sorry for the mix up last week. So I packed up my kids drove all the way from Frisco walk in around 1015. The guy at the desk Trey said they do NOT have open gym today bc it is Labor Day Weekend. I told him no I was told yestetday yall would be open. He actually laughed at me . I could not believe it. I asked to speak to someone incharge but he said he's the only one there. My 2 year old threw a big fit which I completely understand bc she 2 times now has had to leave a place she liked. I will NEVER waist my time and money on this place ever agian. There lack of communication with staff and the way i was treated by Trey today has shown this place is terrible and they do not care at all for costume service. I'd advice anyone wanting to go to this gym to find a better one . I honestly don't think they should even get 1 star.

Beware if you are contemplating swimming lessons here. Some members of the coaching staff are completely incapable of adapting lesson plans according to a child's age or capabilities, resulting in the child being stressed to tears and/or physically injured. We put up with multiple kids per lane bumping into each other in the smallish pool but pushing the kids well beyond their comfort zone was the last straw.

Shame on me to not have read the reviews before booking a party at the metroplex gymnastics, it was the worst experience ever!!! It was very disorganized, we had to waste party time looking for gifts that were placed on the wrong cart, it took much convincing to get them to even try to look. To top it off, the electricity went out during a sudden heavy rain, lightning and thunderstorm, the place was pitch-black there was no back up light and we were using the flashlight on our phones. So, we left without using the 24 packs of bluebell ice cream cups I had given (Mason) to put in the freezer when we arrived (don't forget they advertise "the freezer for your ice cream"). When I returned that evening to pickup my ice cream, they were no where to be found! The girl at the desk was like "there is none left", despite me trying to explain we didn't use any at all, luckily our party host was still there who confirmed that we didn't use any during the party. So, Mason was called, who said "he gave them to a party host", an unknown host I may add because it wasn't my party host!! Fast forward, I was told the manager will call me the next day. The unprofessional Tre called and told me that Brian the owner said they can not compensate or replace the ice cream as their policy states they are not responsible for "lost or stolen" items. They unfortunately don't know the difference between misappropriation vs lost! Their employee gave my clearly marked items to someone else which I don't believe, I don't think anyone would have accepted items they didn't buy for their child's party, I think Brian's employee (s) ate or took them home but he doesn't care about costumer satisfaction enough to investigate what actually happened! Save your money and sanity, do not do business with these people! It is a boring place anyways, the kids had to be creative for an hour with the boring place!!! What a rip off!

I had my 4 year old daughter's birthday here on May 21st. Worst experience ever!! They have terrible customer service, unorganized, and lack of communication between employees! They have the guests place their gifts on a designated cart with the birthday child's name on it, but they don't monitor. Received a call yesterday (almost 2 weeks after the party) they found one of my daughter's gift. I went up there today to claim it and "someone must have moved it or took it". I requested that they called everyone with parties today to see if maybe one of the workers possibly put it on their cart and they ended up accidentally taking it home. The "swim director" told me that he would watch security tapes. I got a call an hour later and they told me that a gentleman came in and knew my daughter's name and claimed the gift. My phone number was the only one on the registration and my husband was with me all day... they told me I can't directly contact the manager and he doesn't have set hours for when he is there. I guess I will be blowing up their phone until I speak with Bryan!

UPDATE: just talked to Bryan and he told me there was nothing he could do to make it right and it was my fault the gift was lost. That's fine, I wouldnt have expected your customer service to be any better. I will be replacing my daughter's gift that y'all gave to the wrong person and spreading the word about how terrible my experience was and try to save others from this frustration.

Horrible place for summer camp. Started out with a rude child at the front, Tre, who has zero customer service and argued about why my children were dropped from the camp before they even started. He doesn't know how to look someone in the eye when talking, doesn't know how to apologize and arguing when they had many open spots. They're not even at half capacity from years past. The owner was emailed and messages were left regarding Tre's rudeness and there has been no response for a week. Bryan Streeter, I have un-enrolled my children for the next weeks from your summer camp and will no longer be returning there the following years. You also may want to re-look at how it is run as my kids are bored everyday there and say it is really boring compared to years past. In the evening they all sit cramped in a room for a few hours watching tv. I didn't take them to a summer camp to be treated rudely and to have my kids bored out of their minds, especially a camp that supposedly has activities planned all day long and a new large gymnastics area. This has been a waste of time and money.

So... We used to go to Texas Dreams for more than 3 years. We moved to Allen a couple of months ago and I traded a very client friendly professional facility for Metroplex. I'm am not impressed. Some of the coaches are great, however the facility in general is not very well run, front desk staff is unprofessional and not customer service oriented at all. There is hardly a floor manager present to supervise and resolve any issues there maybe. Their attitude is not one that wants or appreciates your/my business, and even though they have preschool classes, there isn't much flexibility.
Here are a few examples and comparisons: my 3 year old can be shy going into a class. At Texas Dreams (TD) the floor supervisor - who btw is very friendly - would step in every time my son wouldn't go in or cry, talk to him, motivate him etc. Though not the norm, they would allow him to have his lovey at the begging of class and eventually he was used to and would run to class with a smile on his face (hat off to TD staff).
At Meteoplex (M): same scenario. Coach walked away, rightfully tending to other kids. No one stepped in to help and motivate the 3 year old. We lost a session. He hated the place. Upon my request, they agreed to let him do a make up. So, on the day of make up, having no other options, my 5 year old (who has been doing gymnastics for 3.5 years) had to be tagging along. So I asked if she could participate in a class rather sitting there for an hour. I was more than willing for an extra session. Front desk flat out refused. I asked to talk to a supervisor: not one present. So, a very disappointed 5 year old in gymnastic gear had to sit and watch.
They made no effort to accommodate is or to retain our business.
So, though it's a drag, I am seriously considering driving the 30 miles and give my business to a place that appreciates it, and a place that encourages and motivates my children.

Unless they had no control over the pricing, $20 for a single day regional admission is nothing short of price gouging. We sat on an aluminum bench placed at floor level, which made it nearly impossible to watch the floor competition. For what this cost in admission (not to mention fees related to competition), this event should have been held in a proper arena.

I nearly forgot! They charged $20 and couldn't take a credit or debit card. Cash or check only, but you want to gouge $20? Who the heck writes checks, and who carries enough cash for a small family to get in?
