I purchased a package of lessons as a Father's Day gift for my husband so we could make our way across a dance floor at our daughter's wedding. Turns out, we found satisfaction in the process and met some delightful company in the group classes. We've continued with lessons long after the wedding. They've become like date nights with a challenge and therapy. Bertus provides patient instruction along with a fun sense of humor. Ministry of Dance is unique, a studio like no other.

I found Ministry of Dance on a bit of a whim and it has been pure joy! I was completely new to dance and didnt know what to expect, little did I know a year and a half later... It’s been a privilege to learn how to dance correctly under Burtis! It’s a lot of fun and I met a lot of great people! I've been attending this studio for almost 4 years. I love it. The classes are great and it's always fun. Bertus and Adria attract a great group of people as well. They are incredibly creative and the studio constantly evolves. I'm not the most consistent student because of my schedule but they teach their classes so well that everyone improves immensely.

I am so thankful for finding The ministry of Dance a year ago. I was going through a tough period of my life at that time. I had always wanted to take dance lessons and thought it would be a great outlet for getting my mind off my personal problems. I couldn't have been more correct. I dropped in for one lesson and signed up to be a member that same day. I couldn't be more happy with my decision. This is not just a dance studio that you go to a few times a week. This is a new family. Bertus and Adria make this fun! All the students are very supportive and care about each other. We often socialize with each other outside of class and really get to know each other. I am so grateful to have The Ministry of Dance, Bertus, Adria, and all my fellow studio mates in my life. We found our Dance Family! EXACTLY what we were looking for. Local in Boerne, do-able schedules, and affordable. From modern dance to hip hop to ballroom, there's something for everyone. Can't thank this studio adequately for the personal growth 2 of my children received here! Can you teach Bollywood Dancing. Without missing a step Burtus said yes. We are on our third week and it has been a joy. I love going. I think the staff at Ministry of Dance and Bertus are gems and a great addition to the Boerne area.

My husband and I both have two left feet and needed help for our daughter’s upcoming wedding. Our goal was to “not embarrass” our daughter on the dance floor. Bertus is such an enjoyable person and made us feel like old friends after the first lesson, which put us at ease. We signed up for lessons and are so thankful we found Ministry of Dance. Not only did we practice for the father and daughter dance, but Bertus choreographed our daughter and son-in-law’s first dance. It was captivating to watch them on the floor at the reception and we have received numerous compliments on their dance. Thank you Bertus !!!

Wonderful teacher and great venue! My husband was not able to dance a lick and was reluctant to try. Bertus has him dancing and enjoying it! We enjoy private lessons, group lessons, and the dance "practice" socials. Meeting new friends is an added bonus! Lots of laughing, learning, and fun!
