A very good dance school with talented instructors who go above and beyond to make their students feel welcome. When I started, my instructor asked for my fav song request and ensured I learnt some dance moves for it. Absolutely LOVE this place. I have been taking dance lessons at Monsoon Dance for a few months now and my experience here has been expectionally great. All the dance instructors here are very warm, welcoming, super patient and supportive. I love how they focus on form and teachique in very class and to me that is super important. This place feels like home to me and I look forward to my class with them very week.

Horrible experience! I went for a trial class, not only did they fail to inform that they had a sub but they also failed to end the previous class on time. And if all that wasn’t bad enough it wasn’t even a Bollywood class, it was a jazz class that was not even on the schedule. Do better, some of us drive from really far away and leave our families and kids to be a part of something that is suppose to be fun! Do not recommend, very unprofessional. And clearly the trial was a failure!

My daughter has been part of the Monsoon dance community for about 2 years now. She loves the vibe and the instructors so much that she enrolled in two different classes with them. They do a fantastic job organizing recitals multiple times a year at different venues. They also put in a ton of effort organizing the Parade of India event every year bringing a larger part of the Indian community together. Congrats to Shruti and all the dance instructors for another successful event last weekend at the Capitol! Everyone at Monsoon is very warm and passionate about dance and teaching, I highly recommend this studio!

My daughter and I have been attending classes at Monsoon Dance since May 2020 (she’s on the dance team and I’m obsessed with the fitness classes). I’m not exaggerating when I say that Monsoon Dance got us through the pandemic… the warmth and creativity of Shruti (owner), the wonderful teachers, the friends and community, the exposure to such fun aspects of Bollywood movies, music and Indian culture… I honestly cannot imagine my life without these dance / fitness classes… I look forward to them all week! I came to Monsoon back in January 2021 when the first opened back up since Covid. I hadn’t danced for a few years and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Every single instructor I’ve had has been amazing. They’re kind and encouraging. I know I’ve upped my dance game significantly. Much to my surprise I even became an instructor with my own fitness class. I definitely wouldn’t have been so successful without Arvind and the studio owner Shruti giving me the courage and opportunity to grow and become apart of the monsoon family. Owner made us wait for a long time in the sun. Our group was supposed to perform but the coordinator, monsoon dance studio’s owner, wouldn’t allow us and threatened to cancel our program if we continued to request our group to perform. And when the little kids danced, they didn’t dance on their own, they copied from one of the teachers who were showing the steps. Extremely rude owner and not very good teachers. Owner continued to argue with us and refused to let us on stage.

When I registered I was told that If I am not able to attend in person there will be an option for zoom , I was provided the a zoom link for July month but this does not seem to work. It says every time to wait for the host to start meeting. I was trying the Monsoon dance studio for the first time but this is really a negative experience for me. They should be clear on how the services would be provided rather than taking someone's money and not providing the services . Its really bad. The class that I had registered for was the 4 class pass and the zoom link was shared for M-Th at 7pm. I even tried calling no response, email no response. So please be careful before taking any classes from here
