Best dance studio if you want to have a fun, family like experience for your children to learn to dance (or yourself! They have classes for adults on Tuesday nights!!) I spent a majority of my life dancing & cheering, I knew what I was looking for in a dance studio. We toured/tried studios from Katy to Fulshear to Richmond before we chose MDF, and I regret NOTHING! They do the Nutcracker, plus 2 recitals, all 3 are of course optional. They have a huge variety of classes for 18months to adult. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Don’t settle for any studio, just go to MDF, you won’t regret it either!

My daughters have been dancing at Move for a number of years. I can’t think of a place outside of the home, where they feel more at home, loved and welcomed. We absolutely love this dance studio and the amazing instructors! They do a fantastic job of communicating each week, and if you ever have questions, their responses are incredibly quick and helpful. My daughter started last year at just 2 years old. She was a little nervous at first, but her instructor, Ms. Brittany, made her feel so comfortable that she quickly began begging to go to dance every week.

Not only has my daughter grown in her skills and confidence, but both of us have made wonderful friends through the studio. My daughter had her 7th birthday party at Move Dance this past weekend and her and her friends had the best time! They learned a choreographed dance, played games and did more dancing with glow in the dark lights. All I had to do was show up with cake, drinks, and snacks. Everything else planned, decorated and coordinated by the venue. Brittany was easy to work with and contact for scheduling the party and answering any questions and Kendall our party host was so awesome! She had a dance routine that was so fun to watch and do. Plus she was able to keep 20 girls entertained the entire 2 hours! 5 stars all around! Book your kids party here, you will not be disappointed.

When my son said he wanted to have a dance party for his birthday party, I had no idea he meant, learn a hip hop dance with his friends. I did a google search for dance studios near me that hosted birthday parties and found Move Dance Family. Their communication was amazing, the scheduling process was easy and all the things that the package includes was such a deal! We ended up having about 25 kids all decked out in their hip hop attire and some of the adults joined in dressing up as well. The decorations that the studio provided were great along with all the paper plates and utensils. All you do is show up with food, cake and drinks and anything else you want to decorate with. They even provided a goody bag/party favor to every kid. They learned a hip hop dance and performed it a handful of times. The teacher was so patient and easy to follow for the kids and they had a blast. More party games were played along with dancing to music in a glow type setting with the lights off and neon glowing everywhere. Was a very special party and one that I know my son will not forget! I think some parents were even surprised at their kid's moves as well as the kids themselves! I highly suggest having your child's birthday party at Move Dance Family! Thank you Brittni!

We love Move and Dance Fitness! I always tell people that I cannot recommend it enough. The teachers are awesome and the owners give it a close family feel. My daughter loves Ms. Leslie! They always go out of their way to give the kids a special experience. It was important to us to find a place that had age appropriate costumes and music for ALL age groups. They definitely do a great job with that. We will continue with this studio, as long as my daughter dances! I also want to say that they went above and beyond with adapting their recital for COVID19. In addition to a class virtual recital, they gave each child their own individual time slot to perform, complete with studio lighting, the red carpet walk, pictures, and a flower. My daughter felt so special and it is a memory we will always cherish!

Just had my daughter's 3rd birthday here and it was perfect. The little playroom is perfect for the younger kids and keeps the older kids entertained as guests arrive. Wonderful studio! Classes from toddler up through adult – my daughter loves taking ballet with Ms. Leslie! Julien was very welcoming and encouraging even when my daughter had an extremely hard time being alone in class at first (she could not see me but you can watch your kids on TV screens in the lobby – I wasn't sure about this at first but now I like that it helps them to focus on class and not be distracted by what's going on outside). He encouraged us to stay to the end and try again the next week, and after my husband & I had some encouraging talks with her, now she talks about ballet class all week & can't wait to go again! She even has dance class with her babies where she is the instructor. Friendly and encouraging staff, affordable, and great selection!

I highly recommend you attend the Barre and HIIT fitness classes at this personable, friendly, patient and results-oriented studio. As a new participant with Barre Fitness, Julien and Allison ensured I performed the moves correctly while the other ladies in the class were genuinely welcoming and supportive. I enjoy going to class not only to see results yet because Move Dance and Fitness Studio offers an uplifting and encouraging environment. My son is 7 and recently started the boys Hip Hop class. He entered having no dancing experience, and absolutely loves it... Every week he is excited to go and has already learned so much! I love how they are taught to dance in a fun way! I highly recommend this class to everyone!

Julien and Allison are great! Been taking the Barre and HIT classes for almost 2 months and I love it!!! It's been so long since I've been able to slim down so I'm very happy w my results. I have not been this confident in years. They are very personal so they know how to challenge you without over exerting you. I highly recommend them!

I have been attending this studio for a little over a year now. LOVE the workout and Barre fitness classes. The staff is always friendly!

They also are offering a hip hop class for adults that is a great workout alternative. You actually will be learning patterns versus the typical Zumba class that is cardio based.

My daughter has been enrolled at this dance studio for a month now and we couldn't be happier. It is family owned and operated. The staff is very friendly, kind and patient. They work so well with my 2 yo daughter. There is a playroom with toys and movies for the siblings to enjoy while they wait, which is just wonderful. We will definitely be sticking with the Move Dance and Fitness studio.

I took my very first Barre class here last week and I already fell in love with it. Julien is an excellent instructor. He gives clear instruction, which is quite critical to a new student and a non-native English speaker like me. His workout is challenging, but not intimidating. My 9 year old daughter just started dance for the first time this summer. Move Dance & Fitness is the perfect place for her! The teachers are so encouraging and helpful, they push her to get it right, but in a fun and encouraging way. She is learning so much and having a wonderful time doing it. Also, we did a trial class last spring on a day where the students received their costumes for their spring recital. I was so happy to see that they were adorable and *age appropriate.*

I have just started the fitness classes (Jan 2016) and they are fantastic! I am a total beginner and they are hard, but not impossible. The instructor (Julien) is able to modify the exercises so that everyone is getting a workout at the level appropriate for them. It's a relaxed, non-intimidating environment and Julien is a great coach. Highly recommended!

I LoVe the fitness classes!! The work-outs are varied, and keep me on my toes. The instructors are wonderful, and I like that they always make sure that everyone is doing the exercises properly.

This is our second year with Move Dance and Fitness and we love them to pieces! We love Move Dance and Fitness! My daughter takes classes here and absolutely loves it. She has learned so much and the growth she showed in one year's time is impressive. It is no doubt due to her amazing instructor (and the owner) Ms. Mallorie. Last year was the studio's first year open, and I was always appreciative and impressed with the excellent communication and efficiency with which the studio was run. It is a place that takes dance training seriously, but never takes itself too seriously. The staff and atmosphere is always open and friendly and you can tell from the moment you walk in the door. My daughter is a student and company member. I use dance as a tool to help her exceed in school, no honor roll, no dance. I absoutely LOVE the Soma Forma class!! The instructor Mallorie is knowledgeable, helpful when correcting your form, and has high energy which I love! My 17 year old daughter is taking ballet and modern and absolutely loves her classes. She feels challenged to grow in her technique and learns something every time she attends. She really enjoys her instructors and wishes she could go everyday! Move Dance and Fitness is a great place to get your work out on! I already feel the pounds coming off! The work out is intense and you get the most out of your workout.
