Andrew and DΓ©jΓ are incredible teachers and very knowledgeable about Ashtanga Yoga. They make the practice very approachable to students of all levels and backgrounds, and are so kind and dedicated to helping each student at Mysore Austin. The space is very clean, comfortable, and meditative, and they have also fostered a great community.

Started going back in April, and it's an absolutely great work out with some of the nicest people you could hope to meet. It's really different from traditional workouts, including fitness classes, because the mornings are self-motivated with only corrections from your teacher, but the silence makes it meditative and a really great start to any morning. And the best yoga teachers I've ever had the pleasure of learning under are here!

It's glorious to find an austere human dedicated to maintaining ancient practices with little motivation for self-interest in the midst of modernity. Andrew connects to others through continuously connecting to himself.

Brand new studio bringing Ashtanga to Austin. Andrew is a great teacher, knowledgable and makes the sequences comfortable and accessible for all levels. This is a place to focus on yourself and your breath and practice without distraction. Instead of music, you might just notice your beads of sweat pounding the ground like a bad@$$ drumbeat. It's hard, but most rewarding things are.
Namaste!
