Each client gets a consultation, assessment and movement screen, to determine exactly what you need, as an individual to achieve your goals.
We then build a customized program for you, that starts you in the right place, with exercises appropriate to your ability.
We believe in building you up in a safe an effective way, taking care not to injure you.
Our mission, is to build a space and community to encourage people to develop, explore, and share health.

There was an abrupt cancellation of group classes indefinitely without communication or explanation. The group fitness class coach was awesome, he pushed us, laid out clear class boundaries and provided a space to be challenged.
From my perspective, it felt as though there was never a real opportunity for the group class coach to take full ownership of the program, despite being committed and proactive. It felt very in-cohesive, unlike other gym communities I have been a part of.
Additionally, there was a lack of support in promoting the class—especially through social media—which made it even more difficult to build synergy. Without visibility or shared backing from the gym itself, it’s hard to create a sense of community or growth, regardless of the coach’s efforts. It is strange to me that the gym social media account was treated more like a personal account than a business one. It is unfortunate that posts or stories were never shared in regard to group classes, that is free marketing after all.
I understand that business decisions need to be made, but the way this was handled reflects a missed opportunity for collaboration, transparency, and trust. I hope moving forward Northcore considers a more open and supportive approach when it comes to empowering coaches and engaging members.

I can’t say enough good things about Jeff and Northcore fitness! Ive been going for 4 months and have had bad shoulder and hip injuries with horrible mobility and constant pain at work. After working with Jeff, I have next to no pain working day in and day out with more mobility, strength, energy then I had before. I’m glad I found Northcore and look forward to working more with them!

Jeff is a great coach! My background in fitness is long and complicated- I am a citizen athlete that believes strongly in the power of exercise for health and wellness. I have invested over the course of my career in home exercise equipment, videos, motivational apps, and local gym memberships. I’ve been disappointed by all of them because they lack the accountability of someone checking with me. Jeff is the first to ask me “how’s your day going?”reminds me “you can lift more,” and affirms my effort with a compliment.
His gym is very personal and provides safe, high-quality, custom workouts for someone like me who’s been around for a long time. I have been able to stay on a consistent routine for over three months now with no injuries and only gains.
My clothes fit better, I’m sleeping better, and I’ve managed to talk my husband into joining me at the gym. For me, North Core is a win-win!

Northcore Fitness is outstanding. I like the workouts that Jeff programs, and his focus on form and safety. I feel like I’ve had a great workout every visit, and always leave smiling. Absolutely amazing!! I started seeing Jeff over 3 years ago after a shoulder injury. Despite months of PT and multiple visits to the sports doc, I wasn't seeing much progress and was barely able to reach my arm above my head. After working with Jeff for 6 weeks I had notable improvement. Within 8 weeks I was able to play football and basketball again. It was such a great experience I got my whole family started at NC! Jeff's knowledge, encouragement, and positive attitude are infectious. My family and I are very grateful for Jeff and his team!

I have been working with Jeff Millet as my trainer for several years. I came to Jeff the heaviest I've ever been and riddled with injuries.
Jeff eased me into a program that saw results. My injuries are in check due to the balanced workouts he puts together for me.
During the pandemic Jeff and Kara started a Nutrtion coaching program and we have been working together to bring my weight loss goals to the next level. Since working with Jeff as a trainer and Jeff and Kara on nutrition I have lost 32lbs.

Unique combination of personal training in a small group setting. I love showing up and having a personalized workout waiting for me. This eliminates all the thinking and allows me to simply focus on doing the work. Another benefit to having the workouts written for me is that Jeff and the crew will write a new one on the spot if I’m dealing with an injury, which allows me to continue training without making the injury worse. Jeff, Kara, and team are incredible. Honestly life changing people who genuinely care about your needs and wants. Jeff is extremely compassionate but there to keep you motivated and accountable to your own goals. The entire team somewhat overnight became an extension of my close circle of friends, all while being extremely professional.
Jeff in particular is knowledgeable about all things fitness. From the physical aspects of working out, creating individual fitness plans and teaching you the correct way of treating your body. My main concern when working out was if I was doing it correctly. Jeff starts you out with an assessment and then builds from there. I have his voice in my head anytime I’m conscious of my form. He has a natural way of explaining how to move your body in a safe and healthy way that just clicks in your brain. I highly recommend Jeff Millet and Northcore for personal training for anyone wanting to take their fitness to the next level. Jeff can tailor a plan for workouts whatever your goals may be. His approach as a coach is professional and positive. I am in my mid 50’s and have definitely improved my fitness to continue to ski, hike, & bike stronger and without injury. I enjoy working out, but am the WORST at self motivating. That’s where Northcore Fitness really helps! Jeff creates individualized workouts that challenge me and highlight things I want to focus on. The workouts are never boring and get me excited to come back for more.
The community Jeff’s built around his Gym is amazing with lots of smiling faces and support. I originally met Jeff when looking for a place for my then 13 year old son to train for baseball and develop his strength. He provided great guidance on proper technique, work ethic, and age appropriate workouts. He took this training all the way to two years of junior college baseball. I began to go to Jeff personally the following year. This was 8 years ago, and I can say, I've never had a stronger core in my life. I'm turning 51 later this year and am back to the weight and strength I had when I was playing lacrosse in college. Jeff provides unique, custom workouts that continue to challenge you as time goes on. I'd highly recommend Jeff and Northcore for both yourself and your young athlete.

I found Jeff when my 11yo soccer player daughter broke her foot and physical therapy didn't seem to be interested in getting her back to playing soccer. Her gait and running was off and she was frustrated! I found Jeff and we immediately started seeing a difference after the first week. After 6 weeks, she was back to her full stride and and stronger than she was before. She even helped her team to a championship win, and was selected to move up to a premiere soccer team. Jeff not only improved her strength, but he helped her gain her confidence back.
After seeing his success with my daughter, I started to take advantage of Jeff's knowledge. My goal was to be active again with my family and friends. By the end of the summer I was able to enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking, and riding my bike, and this winter I got back to skiing! I continue to go twice a week and can't imagine stopping.

He is able to train everyone from Professional Athletes to those of us that get caught up in the corporate world and want to get our fitness lives back on track. I went to Jeff knowing his history with working with athletes. I told him exactly what I wanted to improve, my velocity as a pitcher and vertical for basketball. Jeff not only knows his craft in training athletes but also knows how to train people who work everyday jobs. Jeff is one of the most personable trainers I have ever had. I’ve been working with Jeff for about 4 years now. I chose NorthCore primarily for its location being close to my work and home. Also I wasn’t interested in working out at large chain gyms nor was I interested in places CrossFit.
What I appreciate about Jeff and company is their genuine attitude they have for their clients, creativity, flexibility, and the CORE backbone of knowledge they have of exercise, resistance training, conditioning, etc.
The gym is basic and has everything you need. No frills or high end equipment. I’ve done both the semiprivate and private lessons. Well rounded workouts and as challenging as you are willing to push yourself.
Give Jeff a chance if your down in Texas. You won’t be disappointed

Working with Jeff at Northcore Fitness has been life-changing. I have spent over 5 years working with Jeff and during that time I have made the biggest physical gains in my entire life. I have severely impaired mobility that requires me to use a wheelchair most of the time. Jeff works with clients at their own ability and helps them grow to their maximum potential.
