If I could put zero stars I would. They have the most condescending people working in the pro shop. Terribly rude and wrong. Then refused to refund my wife when they charged her for a cart for a tournament when they shouldn’t have and the guys were extremely rude. They Refused to even knowledge my wife who was trying to explain the situation and he kept interrupting her saying “tap your card.. tap your card.. tap your card” I will never play there or sign my kids up for tournaments there again. People like that give golf professionals a bad name. If you hate your job that much, find something else.

I’ve been playing this course for 5 years now. After the renovation the price has doubled, the quality is the same, the course is always backed up and you can’t get ahold of the pro shop. 50$ for a 5 o’clock tee time at this course absolutely ridiculous. Smh 🤦‍♂️

Pace of play was unbelievable, if you are looking for a 5.5-6hr round for $70 this is the place for you. They stack their tee times so close together and marshall’s don’t show up very often at all. However even if they were there every hole not sure there is anything they could do due to the course management scheduling people so close together. Overall the course was in decent shape, greens and fairways were taken care of and none of it is right next to houses which is different than a lot of DFW courses. Shining moment would be Katie the cart girl who had a fantastic attitude and did a great job making it around the course to fuel us up.

Oak Hollow has been our home course for years now. The staff makes us feel welcome and at home. Specifically Korey, Eric and Kevin! Korey knows what we want when we walk in and is friendly and helpful. Kevin and Eric are equally helpful while we are there. Course is in great condition this season and we are always looking forward to our next round.

I play many courses a month and I always try and play this course at least once a week. The course is in really good condition and the greens roll fast and pure. The scenery is always beautiful with the big oak trees. Not to mention the customer service there is superior. Everyone is super nice there but if you get to meet Korey he is the best. He goes above and beyond to make sure your time there is the best. I would encourage everyone to play here any chance they get.

Beautiful course, staff was great except for it’s really hard to play as a double here. It seems they try to push everyone into a foursome. Other than that, I know it’s always a busy course, and somewhat understand, I’d love it more if I could play as a double with my husband. It’s kind of our new thing to do together.

First time at oak hollow today. We play weekdays, all over DFW.

Five stars from us. Obvious, it’s a public course heavily played. Greens were surprisingly nice. Grass driving range was available. Layout is open enough that you don’t lose too many balls but still a couple challenging holes.

This course allows people to wear jeans and t-shirts while playing so you can imagine the type of course this is. The course has definitely gotten better from what it once was, but i do have a few issues. The grass on the range does not exist. I seriously was hitting off bare dirt before my round on 5/5/25. The fairways are dead (i get it its Texas), but a lot of them are littered with small dirt clumps. Greens will roll good for putts, but any chip or approach shot i promise your ball will not check or stay. Then finally the pace of play was just over 5 hours for a 18 hole round.

Played the course today. Course is in decent shape. But way overwatered, so much mud surrounding the greens. Greens are rock solid and hard to stick. Pin placements today were disgusting (photo for reference) all 18 pins were like this. Tried to give it another chance but won’t be back for a while.

The course reopens fall 2023 after major renovations ( new greens / tee boxes / facilities improvements/ redone irrigation system ++ ).
I play Oak Hollow from the back (6680 / 71.6 /118 ) - the white tees are 6050.
This course suits all skill levels.
The par 3’s are long; the par 5s fair with birdie opptys & nice variety of par 4s
There’s room on the course if you mishit a shot ( there’s water & a few fairway bunkers & OB & some tall rough but vs other public courses there’s room to make a mistake ).
Good range & chipping / putting area
Super nice people ( staff & members ) to interact with.
Pace of play is a priority

October 2023 - just re-opened with new tee boxes and greens. Course is in great shape. Greens are still filling in, so there are some rough spots. But they are a huge improvement from what they had. We will continue to come back. I hope they keep it looking this way.

Can’t thank golf instructor/GM Steven Clayton enough for all his great golf instruction with me. This is my first time taking golf lessons and he was truly a joy to work with. He kept me calm while motivating me to get better every lesson. Great communication, great sound principles with his coaching. OK course. Fairways are average, with lots of standing water and bumps. Greens are fast, but don't spin at all and have bumps on them. On hole 10, there are many range balls on the fairway and surrounding rough, which was definitely an issue. Layout is very forgiving and you can score very well if you hit fairways. Only hole with real personality was hole 8, which was cool to play. Course design is average, and many holes are very straightforward. Not the best course, but decent value.

The Starter even went around the course to let everyone know that it's not cart path only anymore and now 90 degree rule!! It was a unexpected pleasant surprise when the gentleman told me on the 8th hole!! Immediately started playing a lot better after being informed the good news!!

This course...if you don't hit the fairway be prepared to lose a ball. The holes are also very close together so if you miss left or right and are lucky enough to find your ball you'll be playing from the fairway of another hole. They also have an abundance of very aggressive mosquitoes.

This was my 3rd time playing the course. Called the day before to verify tee times and could have been told that the practice range was closed, the putting green was being redone but wasn't. Got to the course early to find out that it was cart path only which was predictable because of all the rain we have been experiencing. That's when I found the range was closed, the putting green was closed and to make matters even worse once on the course arriving at the first green I discovered that they had been recently aerated and were covered with sand. Lots of things that I could have been told the day before when I called to verify my times but wasn't. Overall the staff is friendly but in my opinion because of the course conditions from all the recent rains it should have not even been open.

2 of us played today, 5/10/20, and the experience was so bad that we didn't even finish the round. This course has gone downhill significantly since I last played it a couple years ago. When I tried to explain today to the person working in the pro shop that the greens are in TERRIBLE condition, and the group in front of us was so slow we had to wait for 5 minutes at each tee box for them to play, he couldn't really be bothered. He simply said the maintenance crew was short-staffed. It was way overpriced for the poor conditions and customer service. There was no cart service, the sand bunkers are full of dirt and no sand, while the greens are full of sand and no "green" so it's like chipping onto and putting on concrete. It was a bad experience.

It’s a decent golf course overall, nothing special. The reason I’m giving it a 2 star though is because the course grand Marshall is a total jerk. He will get onto you for everything and won’t leave you alone. I tried playing a round with a buddy and this guy would not leave us alone. It’s as if it’s his job to make your round miserable.
