When I started looking for a place for my 2-year-old now 3 to experience gymnastics, a friend referred me here. I must say, it was good from the beginning, but over the last 3–4 months, it has gone from good to great. I truly appreciate the patience all the coaches show with my preschooler. Even when she’s not in their class, they cheer her on or acknowledge her with a smile or kind words. That extra love and attention made her feel comfortable and put my mama heart at ease. Thank you for creating such a welcoming, encouraging environment!

My daughter has been attending tumbling and gymnastic classes here since she was 6. In the beginning she took 2 classes a week, one for tumbling and the other for gymnastics which focuses on beam, bars, and vault.

She had never taken a gymnastics class before and in the 2.5 years she has been training here she can perform a back handspring, a back flip, a twisting backflip, an ariel and more skills that I don’t know the name of. She can vault, leap from one bar to the other, etc… It’s important to know that the coaches focus on SAFE skill building and that it takes time. It could be a year before your child is confident enough to perform an unaided back handspring.

Yes, some of the coaches are young, some of them are high school or college students (cheerleaders and/or gymnast themselves) but they know what they are doing! It’s not a flashy gym but that’s one of the ways they keep it affordable. We’re incredibly happy with Olympo and would suggest it to anyone!

A bit overdue, but Coach Mitch is truly amazing! My daughter struggles with focus and coach Mitch always explains and shows her the ropes to ensure she understands the task at hand. She is getting better and better and we want to give a big thanks to Coach Mitch! My daughter loves coming here and looks forward to class every single week.

If I could leave zero stars I would…

We only made it through the first 5 mins of class and they sent her back to me because she was upset because they didn’t try to help coach or talk to her and tell her what to do as it was her first time to be their.. the group of teens that are teachers just sat in a circle and have conversations amongst themselves while the kids just sat their and we’re thrown out a stretch to do. This is poor teaching and would definitely not recommend ANYONE to else put their kid here

My 2 year old daughter loves this place. Every time we pass it on the hwy she screams “my gymnastics!”. They’re very good with the little ones. Ms. Hailey and Ms. Megan are awesome :)

Ew. It's dirty, no one bothered to clean anything after the last group of children left and our grandson ran out to a teenager that wasted 43 minutes of his time. We were defiantly not impressed at all. Communication was very poor. No one introduced themselves to us or our grandson, we sat there waiting on an actual coach (adult) but instead we got a half dressed teenager. It was just sad. How can the boys class be booked if it was just our grandson and one other boy? Thank goodness we didn't sign up! Glad they have a free class trial. YUK! And yes you will find a record of us there and yes you will find where we actually came and yes we have an online account with you. We experienced this first hand. It was more like a social event, no structure, no discipline, no praise just a waste of time.

Our daughter has been enrolled at Olympo for over a year and she has learned so much. She recently started on a competitive team which seems far more advanced which is what she needed. Coach Megan is awesome at keeping all the kids on task and seeing who needs help at just the right moment. She is great at multitasking.

My 4 year old is at olympo. She is a very shy, timid child who struggles with change and new things. She's been here 2 months now and is thriving. Her teacher is patient with her and she gives feedback to us after each class which is incredibly valuable. My daughter is starting to learn skills now because she is doing so much better. I highly recommend them. They have a lot of patience, incredibly professional and clean gym.

This gym is an ok gym . They mainly focus on gymnastics for the younger ones . Our daughter is 4 and has been going here for almost a year and the only thing she has accomplished is a front roll . We are removing her and sending her to another gym . The employees are great its just not what we were told In the beginning . We were told that she would learn tumbling and has not . I think In a year she should at least know how to do a cartwheel or roundoff . All they really do is play in my eyes . My wife was a cheerleader her whole life in school and competitive and even she found it unusual for our daughter not to be learning more than what she was . If you are looking for GYMNASTICS then yes go here but if you are wanting strictly tumbling then id go else where . Employees are fantastic I just think they need to make the parents more aware in the beginning .

We had our daughters 5th birthday here and she had a blast!!! The staff was so incredibly helpful and sweet and even stayed an xtra 1.5 hours because my daughter and her friends were having such a Great time!!
The experience was so good we signed her up for GYMNASTICS on the spot and she has been back every practice night since!!

The very best gym around! My daughter attended two other gyms in the area prior to finding this one, but neither gym compares to the excellence demonstrated by Olympo. The coaches are outstanding and expect only the very best effort from the students. My daughter's love for the sport has grown so much in the last year, and can't imagine being anywhere else. We have been going to Olympo for over 3 years and yes they stretch the girls very well but there is a reason behind it. Since my daughter has gone to Olympo she has been very happy and has succeeded in various areas and we call Olympo our home away from home. Sometimes its better to go to the coaches with questions then assume they are doing the wrong thing. They have a very good reason for everything they do!! Love, love, love this gym and all the instructors. In less than 3 years they took an 8 year old that had never done any gymnastics to a 10 year old level 4 competitive gymnast! They are one of the only competitive gyms in East Texas that allows open practices so we can always see everything. I trust them explicitly with my child, and highly recommend them to anyone.

Both of my boys are taking classes and they absolutely love it. My oldest also plays baseball and he has developed so much more body control and strength since taking classes here. The coaches are amazing and I would recommend olympo to everybody!

Fantastic gym!
Our daughter started at asi and spent 2 and a half years there. We switched to Olympo after hearing such great things about the gym and within months she was able to do a cartwheel and had finally learned things she should have learned long ago! The entire staff is fantastic and really loves the kids! I love how dedicated they are not only to the students but parents! We love Olympo!!

Was not too impressed with kindergarten class, the teacher gave me the impression that she didn't like working with kids too much. The teacher was mean and would discipline my daughter but nobody else's kid, one child is related to someone important in that gym bc she runs the class. My daughter has a bitter taste with this gym based on that class and would refuse to go back even though she enjoyed the exercises and routines.

I cant begnlin to tell of Olympo's Gymnastics programs. My granddaughter has been attending this gym for a little over an year. We moved her from ASI in Mesquite. She is 3 and has learned so much from Ms. Brittany. You are a part of the family immediately upon joining the program. From little kids to older kids they are proffessional & encourage growth in their students. I also know that they take all level teams to compitetions. I know that this IS the place to take and trust your babies to.

We made the rounds through a few gyms in the Mesquite and Forney areas. The other gyms can not even compare to the level of training my daughter is getting at Olympo. Her skill level increased exponentially within a few weeks of being at Olympo. Besides being excellent gymnastic coaches, the coaches are also great with the girls (and boys). My daughter loves going to practice and she loves Samary, Brenda and Junior. I have nothing but good things to say about Olympo Gymnastics. We are looking forward to many more years with Team Olympo!

My daughter has been competition training with the Olympo coaches since 2011 and has excelled by leaps & bounds since (pun intended). She was previously with Coach Samary at another facility and once we discovered she had opened up her own gym, we were there in a heartbeat. All of the coaches at Olympo do their research and study hard to make sure the kids are receiving quality instruction and are able to excel according to their abilities. Their experience, from competing themselves since they were kids, adds another dimension to the quality of instruction given.

I RARELY give anyone an Excellent score until now! We followed Samary from another facility and have been with her through the conception of OLYMPO. The coaches at OLYMPO have been in gymnastics since they were 2-3 years old, and won't ask the gymnasts to do anything they can't show them how to do. This gym is family owned and operated, they treat each student as a part of the family! My oldest has been with Coach Samary since she was 3 1/2, and she's now 9, my youngest started at OLYMPO in May of 2011 at the age of 4 and was ready for Level 2 team and was able to participate in competitions. I can't say enough good things about OLYMPO and the AMAZING Coaches.
