Took my first class at OneSweat tonight and it absolutely lives up to the name – I was sweating buckets by the end. The studio is clean, the setup is nice, and the workout is very fast-paced, high-intensity interval training that really pushes you. The instructor kept the energy up and the class moving, which I appreciated, though as a first-timer I would have loved just a bit more individual guidance and emphasis on form. Overall, it was still a great experience and a serious workout, and I’m giving it five stars.

I absolutely love One Sweat. The ambience of the room with the lightning coupled with the music and the bad ass instructors make it a one-of-a-kind workout. I love how the intervals on the treadmill on the floor are kind of kept 5 to 6 minutes as it makes the class manageable but super challenging at the same time. I’ve tried tens and tens of studios in different states and this is honestly my number one favorite.

I’ve always enjoyed One Sweat and often encourage my friends to join me here, but I recently had an upsetting experience during the Sunday 10:30 a.m. class.
During the switch from F18 to T18, another member approached me in a very upset and disrespectful way. I did my best to be a good sport and even moved to accommodate the class, but the situation left me feeling threatened. I left class early to talk to Jasmine at the front desk, hoping for support. Instead, she dismissed me, told me I was “assuming,” even accused me of being “dramatic,” and then added that I would probably be happy if the other member were “kicked out.” That was never my intention or my words.
I walked away feeling misrepresented, invalidated, and very discouraged. As members, we should feel safe and supported when we ask staff for help, not accused or dismissed.
I still believe this gym has great potential, but I sincerely hope management addresses this issue and provides better training for staff on de-escalation, communication, and member support.

Took a mat Pilates with Melanie and she is great!! Her instructions are very clear and you hear her over the music so well. Such a good challenge and you leave class very accomplished. It’s not a hot Pilates class but you’re still sweating! The staff is very friendly and there’s a smoothie bar for after class if you’re interested. They validate parking just make sure you scan the QR code before class. I really liked the location!

What a nightmare! First of all, it’s completely unclear where your station is supposed to be. No signage, no direction—just a chaotic room and an instructor who already starts counting reps before you’re even on the floor. And that’s just the beginning. The class moves at a breakneck pace with zero transition time. You’re expected to jump from treadmill to floor to weights with no explanation or prep. By the time you’re trying to understand what’s happening, the instructor is yelling out the next exercise. No cueing, no form checks—just yelling. It felt like chaos, not coaching.
Then there’s the weight training. They offer dumbbells like 8s, 10s, and 20s—and immediately ask you to do slow, static movements that are meant to be controlled, with proper breathing and alignment. But the instructor? She’s bouncing around doing god-knows-what. Static strength training is not something you rush through. These movements target deep muscle groups and require neuromuscular control. Without that, you’re just flailing and risking injury—especially to your back, knees, and shoulders. It’s how people herniate discs and blow out joints. After that mess, you rotate to the treadmill. No one tells you what to do, and again—everything is drowned out by over-the-top cheering. Honestly, I love energy, but not when it replaces actual instruction. I started incline walking and light jogging (which, by the way, is a textbook way to prep muscles before resistance training). But then the instructor runs up and says, “We’re running.” No explanation, no options, just pressure. Sorry, no thanks. Then it’s back to the floor—this time apparently for upper body, though again, no one said that. Immediately she tells everyone to grab the heaviest weights. Are you kidding me? You’re supposed to warm up a muscle group before going heavy. Jumping into isolation work like elbow curls with 20 lb dumbbells is just absurd. Most people use 3–5 lbs for those movements with good reason: the rotator cuff and elbow joints aren’t built for explosive load under poor form. Everyone around me just froze or looked panicked while she yelled across the room. It was so bad, I walked out.
I love a good workout. I live for that endorphin rush and a proper sweat session. But this? This was not it. It didn’t feel empowering or energizing—it felt anxiety-inducing and dangerous. There was no structure, no coaching, and zero respect for safe biomechanics. If you care about your joints, your progress, or even just understanding what’s going on in a class, I’d steer far, far away.

Best decision I made after getting gym burnout! (I also do pilates here @ heights) Have to shout out Janae— truly look forward to each one of her classes. My favorite thing about her teaching is on the last push of every single class, when she says “in x seconds, you will be leaving this room stronger than when you walked in.” Never fails to make me give 110%, haha. Great at cuing as well. Haven’t had one instructor that didn’t push us; they’re all amazing. Other shout outs: Abby, ALWAYS brings energy, warmth, and positivity; Spencer, you WILL die in his class in the best way, loves treadmill inclines 😅; LaDarius, always energetic, humorous, and great at reminding you that it’s you vs. you. From the moment you walk in you’re greeted like family. The front desk staff knows your name, remembers your milestones, and makes you feel like you belong. It's a whole community, you make friends and look forward to dying together in the blue room, (Feli and her team are the best!)
The instructors are next-level. Shoutout to Jordan (on the rare occurrence you get the privilege to suffer in his class) Laura, Abby, Mateo, Regina, and Rachel – each of them brings something special to every class. They don’t just guide you through a workout, they push you to be better. They cheer you on when you're about to give up, motivate you to hold that plank longer, sprint a little faster, and just add .1 or .5, give just 10% more than you thought you had. It’s that kind of energy that keeps me coming back.
The HIIT and Pilates classes are well structured, challenging, rewarding, and never boring. Every trainer has their own vibe and every class feels fresh.
I can't say enough about how much I love this place. It’s changed the way I look at fitness – not just as a workout, but I truly look forward to coming

This is such an amazing workout/HITT workout. I haven't gone to a HITT workout in about a year so was a little nervous.Coach Tiffany's class was probably one of the best HITT classes I've been to, it was really hard, but I eased into at my own pace and ended out feeling great and like I worked really hard. Def 10/10 recommend. This morning class was mostly women, but it is still an intense workout for men or women. You'll leave it feeling stronger.

I just started taking the sweat signature class and I love it! It makes me enjoy working out bc it goes so fast with the great music and switching it up with tread, sled, and floor. I highly recommend this class!

Really enjoyed OneSweat HIIT class at the River Oaks location! Instructor (Abby) was very encouraging and clear in the instructions. I like how they have different levels for the running section: walker pace, jogger pace, and runner pace so that you can still do the treadmill part of the workout if you’re not a seasoned runner. Also had ample warm up/stretch time at the beginning which was very appreciated.

In Houston visiting for work. Found on class pass. Needed something to burn a few calories while away from my home gym. Absolutely AMAZING 7pm class! It was the best thing that ever happened to me. Josh was the instructor and 10/10 recommend over and over again. Jas and Excel were great at the front from giving me a personalized tour to helping me pick a smoothie and great conversation. I will be back!!!! Please bring this studio to Atlanta ASAP!

I recently came to ONESWEAT. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The facility is spotless, with top-notch equipment that caters to all fitness levels.
The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete. Their group classes are a highlight for me—fun, challenging, and always leave me feeling accomplished.
