This review is about 2 years overdue, but I still have to brag about OTF spring!! This studio: the coaches, the front desk people, the environment in general, and the other people working out with you during classes, are the absolute BEST! I started going to this location after I had moved here all by myself, and also wasn’t in the best place mentally/physically. These people 1000% helped me become the best version of myself!! These coaches especially: Ally, Daniela, and Adam, I legit will always be grateful for them! They helped me fall back in love with working out and just moving my body! In the end, this location helped me with losing weight in the healthiest way possible, as well as accomplishing things I NEVER would have thought I would do in a million years!! So all in all, if you take away anything from this, PLEASE don’t be afraid to give OTF a shot!!🧡

I’m so sick of having to cancel every month and they’re still charging me from December!!!!!! The managers never get back, then when they refunded me just one month, they reversed it! This is a scam and I’m sick of it.

They tell you it’s month to month however as soon as you start your membership, they tell you you have to cancel with thirty days notice. So technically it is a minimum of a two month commitment. So as soon as you sign up you’d have to cancel which makes absolutely no sense. I informed them today that it doesn’t make good financial sense for me to continue and the woman who I talked to told me “you will be charged for the next month” while she was smiling. The smile showed a lack of care of concern to me, especially after I informed you that it didn’t make good sense to me and that I needed something twenty four hours. I find it incredibly difficult putting myself in that 5am -5:30pm box to work out. She continued to inform me that that OTF has a package that allows me only four times while telling me “I see you’ve only been here four times.” That appeared condescending to me especially after I informed them why I find it so difficult to get there. What really irked me is the fact that she was smiling the whole time which conveyed a lack of care and concern. Her response indicated to me that she wasn’t really listening to what I said. I really needed something twenty four hours. I then asked her what was so funny the whole time she was smiling and she stated she was being nice. No, smiling while someone tells you it doesn’t make good financial sense or the difficulty with scheduling sends a totally negative message. It definitely isn’t received as being nice. I would avoid Orange Theory Fitness like the plague especially knowing that you will have to unbearably suffer another month of a membership which is hard to make making it increasingly harder to exercise. It’s hard enough getting in the right mindset to exercise. The only thing they care about is money. They demonstrated that to me today. They do NOT care about people.
Update: I was sent a cancellation form with two fields already filled out. If I sign this form electronically then I am agreeing that those actions were performed. I’ve since learned of an option that was not discussed with me. I guess I’ll see the same generic response to my review as all of the other negative reviews. Sorry to disappoint you, we’ll take this feedback to improve blah blah blah blah blah……….

I don't believe in Orange Theory! They'll offer you a promotion, then charge you $169.00 for a month. As soon as you said you wanted to cancel. They'll tell you to have it in writing at least 30 days in advance. In addition, if you don’t attend the session they will charge you $25 for no show! I suggest BOYCOTT OrangeTheory! It’s a highway robbery.

A lot of sleazy sales vibes from them. Will tell you whatever you want to hear to sign up, and then makes it very difficult to cancel. You can put your account on a freeze for $15/mo. But to cancel you have to give 30 days notice and have to be charged one last time (a very expensive membership as is). Talked with several people and no one is willing to discount the last month or work with us at all on this.

After having my first heart attack at age
37 and a triple bypass at 51, I knew I needed to find something exercise wise
that would help along with all the medications. After some trepidation I tried Orangetheory with my wife last summer and I’m so glad I did. Now at age 56 I feel better than I have since I
was in the Marine Corps. The staff is friendly and helpful and the coaches are enthusiastic and always motivating you to do your best and become a better you.

Staff members here are insensitive and uncaring. Go to a different Orange Theory!
Called 45 minutes before class to let them know I can’t make it because I had to take my dog to the ER. They responded by informing me that I still have to pay the $12 because it’s within 8 hours of the class.
Wildly insensitive.
Also, good learning lesson: if you aren’t going to be able to make the class at this location, for ANY reason, just no-show. No reason to give them the courtesy of a call or canceling in the app. They’re not going to show you the same courtesy and will just charge you anyway.

Love OTF Spring esp. coach Tai who actually takes time to check on each person and help with proper form. However they canceled, without prior notice, the only class that actually worked for me and for at least 10 other ppl, the 7.10 AM class. Not sure who makes these decisions but that’s not how a business is run. When ppl. Sign up with you, they sign up based on their schedule and if you change that without notice, that’s unprofessional. May be it’s a business decision and it was not a busy class, but sometimes you take it as a grain of salt; it’s called cost of running a business. Not everything is valued in $. I will update my review if and when they bring the class back. This is the only way I could protest.

Great people & atmosphere! Tai is the bestest instructor EVER!! He checks your posture, corrects your form, keeps an eye on your workout. Made me stick around OT all summer! Last OT, I was at, I was just another person running like a hamster & ended up hurting my back on the floor because there was no concept of “personal attention” with 28 people!! Thanks guys!

I have been going to Orange Theory Fitness for 4 years now, and I’m still just as passionate about it. The coaches are so motivating and encouraging. They know how to help correct your form to prevent injuries. They are quick to learn your name and help push you to the limits that they know you are capable of. I love how there is always a modification option for each workout such as choosing lighter weights, reduce the range of motion, etc. Truly a workout for anyone of all ages.

I’m in disbelief. I have never been one to work out much so this was super outside of my comfort zone, but I was excited to try it because I have heard so many good things about Orange Theory. So, I came in and signed up for a class at 3 pm and was told to arrive at 2:40 PM. I had to leave work an hour early to make this, but I was fine with that because I was super excited. I got caught in a bit of traffic and received a call at 2:39 when I was not quite there yet that if I wasn’t there by 2:40 I would have to reschedule, even though I could physically see the building I was so close. I walked in at 2:42 and again was told that because I was 2 minutes late I would have to reschedule. I would totally understand this if I had been late to the class itself, but I was only late to the “introduction”. And it’s not like I was 5 or 10 minutes late, I literally walked in the door at 2:42. I cannot believe I left work an hour early and wasted 20 minutes driving over there to be told I cannot try my first class because I was 2 minutes late. 2 minutes!!! I am so disappointed because I was so excited to try this and start working out. Such a letdown.

Seems like a nice place. I havent went yet, I signed up to get the first class free at some point in the future; however, its waaaaay too many sign up calls. every day... omg. every. day. I wish they would chill on that, I have no experience with the gym yet, but calling wise I'm annoyed. There's no need to call someone every day to remind them to sign up for a class. They call like it's some kind of emergency, it's really overwhelming.

Since I cant add another review, I will add to this one. After my very disappointed experience in this locations yesterday, the only thing I requested (twice) was you erase my information and dont call me again, well guess what the manager Mary ignored my request and called me today, saying thank you for the review and also that “they will take it in consideration” well if you read aaaall the bad reviews before mine people had exactly the same experience than me so it is clear they do not take in consideration your experience..... again I do not want to be contacted by you and I will NOT RESCHEDULE!!!

Horrible customer service, especially from the management. I signed up for my first class and was not informed of everything I would have to do before being able to start. When I arrive the manager states I cannot take the class because the trainer would have to meet with me prior and there was not enough time; Which was the time she spent going back and forth with me about scheduling another class. Very unprofessional. I believe the workouts from orangetheory work, and still plan on taking classes, but the behavior exemplified by the manager was uncalled for.

Workouts where great, on boarding was very easy!
2 stars because unfortunately, leave was a terrible experience. My work caused me to start traveling every week until the end of the year. I tried to make it work, but was not utilizing my sessions. I asked to cancel, and signed the appropriate forms. (Which you HAVE to do in person, the SAME LOCATION you signed up, which is hard hard when you’re never in town)
I explained that I planned on joining again when work travels calmed down, and I enjoyed the sessions. I inquired about about not paying for the last month because I wasn’t able to utilize workout sessions, AND not get to that specific location in the past 2 months, and wouldn’t be able to the next month either.
No exceptions, they charged me for an additional month knowing I wasn’t going to be able to make it, and didn’t utilized the last two months of sessions I paid for.
I made it clear, that if they made the exception, I’d be back sweating in one of their facilities. Apparently that one months payment was more important than a continuing customer at a later date.
Be advised, when cancelling, do it after a workout, at your specific location, more than a month in advance.

This is the best workout that you will ever have. Throughout the months that I have been coming to OTF, I noticed increased stamina and strength. No two workout days are ever the same, the coaches are very informative and you do not have to worry about what to do. I like how OTF motivates me to actually work out, whereas going to a gym, you may not push yourself as hard. I think the price point is moderate and will continue supporting this location since the front desk and members are friendly.

I love everything about OrangeTheory! It's the perfect challenge and even though it's tough sometimes, I feel like the coaches always know what to say to make you dig a little deeper! I am constantly talking about the workouts to my friends and family because I want everyone I know to experience OTF!
OTF Spring recently added Robert to the staff and I think everyone should know that he is an AWESOME coach who likes to encourage us when we need it the most. Some might say he comes off strong but I love it because he knows when you're not giving your all and he'll push you to dig deeper. For anyone who thinks otherwise, go to him directly and get to know him better before making a judgment about his coaching. He is seriously such a nice guy.
For whatever reason, I can't leave another review but I wanted everyone to know that this place is still seriously my favorite afternoon activity. The staff is incredible and I always leave ready to come back!

After researching Orangetheory Fitness for months, I scheduled a free trial class with the intention of signing up for a membership for both myself and my wife (who had completed her free trial earlier) after the class was complete. On the phone, I was told to arrive 30 minutes before my class time, but what I wasn’t told was that arriving even minutes late would result in being barred from attending the class. This I learned in a phone call received just five minutes before arriving at the studio. After leaving work early and battling a longer than normal commute in Houston traffic in the rain, I arrived 3 minutes later than “policy” allowed and was turned away by Ernesto with the explanation that they now lacked the time to fit me for my heart monitor and prepare me for the class (keep in mind the class was not set to begin for over 20 minutes).
As this was not explained to me up front, I complained, only to be told repeatedly that there was nothing they could do. After returning home and speaking with my wife about her earlier experience, I learned the heart monitor fitting took all of a couple minutes and most of the prep time was unnecessarily spent filling out an unhelpful survey with an awkward sales associate, the survey asking questions I can’t imagine are necessary for the class like, “Have you ever done personal training?” and “How did you enjoy that?”
Despite being insistent on me adhering to their unjustified schedule, no one I've spoken to seemed to have any respect for my time. Following my first call to inquire about the class, I received unsolicited badgering by the sales associates consisting of repeated calls, voicemails and texts. And this culminated in tonight's experience where I was told I would have to reschedule my class despite spending an hour in traffic and arriving only 3 minutes late. The Orangetheory model clearly relies on bombarding its potential customers to make a sale and generally disregarding the customer's experience in favor of the "system." The classes themselves may be great, but you must first battle the horrific customer service and sales gimmicks to ever reach that experience.

This location lacks major customer service. It's enough to battle going in for a work out, but to be turned away, as a first timer? They had 3-5 excuses why they couldn't allow me for a first class, including the location manager. Turned me away - no common sense in how to treat someone right. Still plan to check out Orangetheory but note to first time people, I wouldn't recommend your first experience with this location.

Amazing, intense workout at a great studio with helpful, motivating, and friendly coaches. This is a tough workout, I always sweat buckets! I love that OrangeTheory sends me data after every workout. This particular location has great coaches and great music. Alex, Nikia, Samantha, and Shannon are always encouraging and helping members with form. OTF has changed my life!

I love Orangetheory spring. The front desk staff are so friendly and the coaches are awesome!
I’m a very active person and have worked out at multiple gyms in the area. Orangetheory spring is my absolute favorite, I’m addicted! The workout changes every class and you can set goals for yourself on the OTF app. I’ve been going for almost 3 months now and am still loving it!

Update - I've been coming here for about 9 months and I still love it.. they really make you feel good about yourself and know how to encourage you. It's that little bit that goes a long way with each person.

Excellent gym and great CARDIO workout but the sales staff I felt were bait and switch-y. I was in the process of trying out a bunch of gyms near my area and Orange Theory was one of the ones that I wanted to try. I looked it up on my maps and decided to give it a try since it seemed different than what I was used to. I happen to be right in the middle of the one in Vintage Park and this one so I decided to go get my "free" session at this one but when I got there they told me that the one in Vintage Park was about 1 mile closer than this one so that meant that I had to pay to take the class I had scheduled to take. I was pretty mad to be honest, but I had made the time and was very excited to try it out so I folded. Well, a few months pass and I noticed myself really liking a different cross fit gym so I decided to cancel this membership, which you can only do by being present at the gym. You have to give a 30 days notice, which I did, but remember that you have to GO TO THE GYM to give "notice" and fill out the paperwork. When I went there, the lady at the front didn't mention that there would be another charge on my credit card when she cancelled my membership. "corporate policy" she murmured. I don't know if it's this gym specifically, but I wouldn't recommend going to this gym for the sole purpose of them not being upfront about the expectations. This has not been a great experience with an otherwise great cardio workout gym. Doesn't it suck when you cancel this and start going to a different gym that you like better and then you get this random 59 dollar charge from a gym that you hate? Why does this stupid 30 day notice rule exist for gyms?

I have worked out at several Orangetheory Fitness Gyms and have been working out with them for almost two years and I have to say Nikia is one of my favorite instructors. I feel like she really pays attention and wants you to have the best possible workout that really pushes you to your limit. Not all Orangetheories nor instructors are the same and I will be looking forward to achieving my all my personal best with her and this location. Thanks for all the amazing workouts I have had so far!

The workout was very challenging. My coach Alex was amazing in assisting not only me but all the other classmates as well. I am proud to say I joined immediately after my 1st free class, and look forward to seeing the changes OTF can do for me.

If I had to sum up an Orange Theory workout in one word - Intense! They do NOT play around with utilizing the one hour they have to kick your butt with a workout. I work out fairly frequently on my on with weights, punching bag, running etc. but it didn’t prepare me at all.
I didn’t realize I could run 2.5 miles in 20 minutes until Nikia (our coach for the day) pushes me to do it.It’s an amazing experience, you’ll probably push yourself to the limits of your body, and it may feel like hell, but it’s worth it!It’s been two days after that workout and I still feel refreshed and have had an amazing amount of energy throughout the day without coffee. I think my body is thanking me.
Only downfall I have to say about my experience so far is the heart rate monitor. It kept losing my heart rate and dropping me down to the grey zone, which I was clearly busting my ass. So it’s a little difficult to find that sweet spot on my arm for that. But I’m sure it’ll get better over time.
All in all, Orange Theory is revolutionary, and will more than likely be the best one hour workout you’ve ever had.

I lost some weight on my own from diet and moderate exercise. Then I joined OTF, in 4 months I dropped 4 pants sizes and improved my run time for a mile by 3 minutes. It's intense, it's hard at times, but it is greatly rewarding. The staff is excellent and I would recommend it to everyone!

OTF workouts provide quantifiable results to show you are doing your personal best. By using the OTF Board and performance summaries I know that I am pushing myself hard enough or if I could go a little harder. The rotation between Strength, Endurance, Power and ESP days keeps me from overworking muscles and keeps it interesting.

The classes are 5 stars; and they are at every OT I travel to across the country. I would recommend this workout to anyone of any fitness level. Also the great thing for people who travel for work there are more and more OT's popping up around the country and if you have premier membership you can take the classes anywhere.
The front desk staff at this location are nice and friendly; however, there is an issue with their app showing that I missed classes when I actually cancelled prior to the 8 hour window and they want to charge me a one time fee of $72 for missed classes that I cancelled at correct time per their policy. I have no problem being charged a late fee if I don't show or cancel at last minute but when I actually cancel classes correctly they should not charge me the fees. I came 3 days in a row this past week so why would I miss the 6 days they are saying. Does not make sense and now they are saying I cannot attend their location without coughing up the $72 in fees and that is unacceptable. I will be following up with corporate to see if they can charge the $72 they say I owe when I don't.

This gym is absolutely perfect for me. Lot's of class times to choose from, the 60 minute work out is fun and very challenging. Huge bang for your buck. Love the music, love the trainers. I cannot say enough about just how much I love this place!
