I spent two weeks training at Outlaw Barbell Club in Lubbock, and it was an incredible experience! This gym is a haven for strength enthusiasts, with top-notch equipment perfect for powerlifting. The 24/7 access was super convenient, and the space was always clean and well-maintained. The owners are fantastic—super welcoming, knowledgeable, genuinely passionate, and made me feel welcomed. Whether you’re a seasoned lifter or just starting out, Outlaw Barbell is the place to be. Highly recommend and I’ll be back.

Best gym in west Texas! The owners are so sweet and knowledgeable and truly have a passion for helping! They have calibrated plates and bars for powerlifting, strongman equipment, bumper plates, cable machines, dumbbells, and so much more! The community here is so supportive and fun! Top tier gym for strength training powerlifting and strongmen, calibrated plates, sandbags, yoke carry, sleds, special bars for each lift and other speciality bars. Fun and great community and have already hit several prs in this gym and everyone is friendly and encouraging. Also with membership you gain 24hr access so for those with difficult schedules dont have to worry about the gym closing.

I’ve been training at this gym for a while now, and I absolutely love it. The environment is motivating, the equipment is top-notch, and the staff is always friendly and supportive. A special shout-out to my trainer, Caitlin—she’s truly amazing. She pushes me to make real progress while always prioritizing safety and proper form. I love it here. I lift here and my kids lift here with Caitlin. My kids really love it which says a lot. I’ve had nothing but good experiences at OBC. The equipment is top notch, the owners are high level competitors with high level knowledge and they care about their members and lifters. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I was looking for a lifting coach for my 14yr old son entering his freshman year of high school . We have received way more than I expected , my son has gained an amazing level of size/strength for this age along with confidence in himself. I’ve now enrolled my 2 younger sons for strength training ages 9&11 and I can’t wait to see them grow! Thank you for not only being coaches but mentors as well!!!

Honestly the worst experience I have had at a gym. I went to cancel my membership and was told I had to pay $150 to cancel. I asked for a signed copy of my contract where the $150 was noted. The owners completely ignored this. I asked for a second time for a copy of my signed contract and I wasn’t not consenting to any form of payment until I was provided this. Again, this request was completely ignored. After ignoring my request for my contract multiple times they still charged my account the $150. There is no cancellation fee inside the written contract that I signed, or the owners would have provided it to me. They claim that writing on a piece of paper inside of the gym was grounds for the cancelation fee to be binding, when this was all done AFTER I signed up and is not inside of my contract. Do not go here, it is a waste of money and they will try to shake you for every penny they can get.

Loved the place and the staff. Tried a “three month” trial that auto renewed without my consent. I’m now out 150$ for a gym I haven’t used in two months. Owner had no remorse. Bad business.

Dropped in to Outlaw Barbell Club one Saturday after they recently opened and absolutely loved it. They have a great facility for just about any type of weightlifting (I was doing Olympic lifting and they had all the right equipment) and are so welcoming and supportive. Will definitely be back!!

Best gym in town! The owners and coaches are the brainiacs of powerlifting, strongmen & movement! if brains had biceps, these folks would be flexing non-stop.
