It was so much fun at the gymnastics class today. The kids had a great time. Classes were just long enough and the parents who came to watch had fun too! This is a great place to bring your kids!

This company has shown me they only care about taking your money and they don't care for your children at ALL. They're unsafe, selfish and only care about their own family members in this company.
Last night was the Recital and I was very disappointed and upset with how they treated one child on stage and trust me I'm not alone on this.
During the Recital they said they "adored our kids" yet a 5 year old was performing with her classmates and she was wiggling because she had to use the bathroom, she walked off stage to tell staff and they sent her back to finish the performance 3 TIMES!! So she ended up having an accident ON STAGE in front of EVERYBODY WHILE the performance was still going! She looked so sad and embarrassed and the audience was pretty upset how they treated her too!
As if that wasn't bad enough they didn't clean it up they still let 2 other classes perform right after that and everybody was worrying a child was going to slip and hurt themselves. They obviously don't care about the kid's safety.
How can a company stand there and say they "adore" our kids when they let them get humiliated and most likely traumatized from ever doing something like that again. I really hope that little girls parents gave the staff hell!
Another thing is we paid $40 for a DVD of the recital since they weren't allowing ANY videos or pictures during the performances. Well after they already let 4 classes perform they announced the photographer was not there and we could go ahead and video tape with no flash. That was a another upsetting incident yesterday because i wanted to live in the moment watching my kids perform and not have to worry about capturing it on video because a professional was SUPPOSED to be there doing what he was paid to do. The staff has yet to tell us IF or when we will get our money back.
The costumes for the recital were expensive I spent $500 for 2 kids and yet we STILL had to spend another $12 for specific color tights. You'd think with as much money already being spent on the costumes the tights would be included.
Another incident that happened on rehearsal day is that my daughter came back with a big bruise on her shoulder from a kid hitting her backstage. I brought it up with the staff and they have not contacted me to talk to me about it or cared to reprimand the classes to keep their hands to themselves. That is not the first time my daughter has been hit either. During practices I've seen a few kids hitting or pushing and staff never tells them anything. It's a huge safety issue. This company CLAIMS to be strict on it and they aren't. The whole building where they practice smells horrible and they make no attempt to buy plug ins or air freshers or even try to clean to have a more welcoming environment or at least have some kind of pride with their company.

After moving to the Valley from another state I was in search for a place to take my four year old daughter to continue her ballet lessons. And although there were several studio/gyms near my home, I chose Palm Valley Gymnastics and Dance, about a 20 minute drive away. We began by enrolling in their summer program that offered a combination of gymnastics, tap, and ballet. My daughter loved it and we decided to stay and continue with the 21-22 school year. The teachers and coaches here are great. They are always encouraging to the students giving praise for their work when they master a new skill, as well as making sure they are pushing themselves to do their best. Here your child's achievements will be acknowledged and they will find that they can excel in their program if they are doing their best. You also won't find yelling or down grading your child when they fumble. Lastly, if you are looking for a diverse atmosphere, especially if you are not from the Valley, PVGD offers that too. I would recommend anyone looking for a gym and Dance studio in the area to give PVGD a try.

I danced here for 10 years and miss it every day! PVG&D quickly became a second home for me where I could express myself through dance and where I was pushed to be better than the day before. You will feel like part of the palm valley family in no time!
