I was fed up with the crowds and meatheads at the gym I’d been going to, especially after they closed during silly Covid and rebranded as a much cheaper gym. I was looking for a small gym with a trainer that could help address, and work with, my multiple back surgeries and the resulting metal that was installed. At 55, I needed guidance and encouragement. Little did I know it was literally 2 miles from my house.
I made an appointment to meet Joanna and, during that initial meeting, quickly realized she was, and had, everything I’d been searching for.
Joanna is amazing and the gym she works out of is fabulous. Everyone there is kind and encouraging. But Joanna takes the top prize. She focuses on getting my entire body back into shape. When I am having issues with my back, she is gentle and caring and focuses on the appropriate exercise and therapies to keep me active while not aggravating the existing issues.
My only regret is not being able to utilize her services daily, simply due to my chaotic work and travel schedules. If I need to miss an appointment or reschedule due to last minute travel or meetings, she is incredibly flexible and works with me.
I highly recommend you visit with her. You’ll see exactly what I mean!

Joanna offers a truly unique training and workout option from the typical chain gym. I love that her gym is private with no membership required. I can choose private sessions or group sessions and just pay as I go. Even in the group session format, each client is on their own workout circuit/rotation suited to their individual needs and strengths. Joanna is a rockstar and it’s amazing to watch her personally interact and encourage each client in the group. I started with private sessions. I was a bit hesitant about my abilities and unsure about joining a group I might not be able to keep up with. Once I tried the group session I loved it. We each workout at our own skill level, and own pace. I also enjoy interacting with the other clients. Joanna is knowledgable and continually changes things up so it’s never mundane or too routine. I recommend Joanna and Peak Fitness to everyone. Peak Fitness is a fit for anyone just starting out or those looking for a fresh way to keep in shape and stay healthy!

Joanna is an excellent trainer! I look forward to my sessions with her! Her custom workouts have improved my physical health and strength, but also reduced my stress, improved my overall outlook and perception. She is invested in her clients 100%.. Clients receive a productive workout guided by her thoughtful combinations of weight training that vary with each session, offering a fresh challenge every session. I never feel like I am in a stagnant pattern or rut in my workouts. My experience at Peak Fitness was very helpful and fun. As a person without a workout history I was encouraged but never pushed. My trainer excelled in making me feel comfortable yet challenged at the same time. The atmosphere in the gym is professional and inviting.
