If you have lower back or pelvic floor issues, you NEED Pia in your life. Nothing has helped my back pain more.
I’ve taken Pilates classes all over Austin, and I’d accidentally hurt my back because I’m trying to keep up with the class. You end up doing things the wrong way, or forgetting to breathe, etc. It’s just easy to do things wrong, even when you’re in shape like me. Pia will actually train you one-on-one to do it the RIGHT way, and it’s actually helped my form and breathing with strength training. And it’s protected my back at work.
She helps people of all sizes, ages and colors and is so much more inclusive than most skinny white girl Pilates classes. (No hate on them, but not everyone feels comfortable with that!) She’ll meet you at your fitness level, whatever that is. I always feel challenged, but never too much. She’s in downtown Austin but it still feels secluded and private somehow.

Maybe I’m a bit biased because Pia was my first Pilates teacher, and she definitely left me with an amazing experience and impression of Pilates! She helps me visualize the theories behind each movement by explaining the body’s anatomy. I can truly sense her passion for Pilates, as she really focuses on her students’ movements and posture. I can’t recommend her highly enough and am so grateful that she was the one who introduced me to my first Pilates lesson.

I love Pialates. The studio is so clean! It smalls good. Pia gives awesome instructions. She stretches me and helps me loosen up. I always feel so good after a session. Stronger and more flexible. Yay!

I am so incredibly grateful for Pía! The space they've put together to help create a thoughtful, very knowledgable and caring approach to help a person on a journey to understand their body and work on their goals for wellness/rehabilitation. She has been able to help me understand my body, form, muscle movement, and so much more in a way I never knew I needed. Working with her has helped me manage my chronic pain, understand how to get ahead of the pain, find a better range of motion and strengthen my body. I cannot wait to see where working with her will continue to take me! If you're thinking of taking the leap, do it! Your body will thank you.

I have always been athletic and I thought “in shape” because I was a runner and when I had to quit running, I became a walker. Several months ago, I realized I was having trouble standing on one foot and balancing myself. My childhood friend, who is also in the medical profession and does Pilates with Pia, suggested that I might try Pilates for “core strengthening.” I was very skeptical but thought I’d give it a try. Pia and her attentive direction and coaching has helped me gain core strength, something I thought I’d never have. (I actually have NEVER had core strength until now!) It has been AMAZING. I have truly noticed my body changing for the better and my balance is solid. My work requires that I stand all the time. Pilates has helped me stretch and strengthen so I am not so stiff all of the time. Also, I had breast cancer/radiation/chemo and reconstructive surgery 11 years ago and lost the ability to move my arms in certain ways. Pilates has helped me regain that lost movement again! I am a FIRM believer in Pia and her wonderful directive Pilates technique. I wish that I had started Pilates along time ago. Thank you Pia❤️🙏🏻

I cannot recommend Pia enough!!! I started going to Pia for help with a knee injury, and she helped me to not only completely heal my injury, but also to gain strength and become more in tune with my body. As a competitive swimmer, I appreciate the time and effort Pia put in to understanding my sport to come up with a plan that helped me improve in and out of the water. :)

I started working with Pia last summer and my only regret is not starting sooner. In our six months together, I've gained so much strength, find my posture better while sitting over a computer at work, and have learned so much about how to care for my body. The 1:1 attention is amazing and her focus on form and execution made it really comfortable to start as a beginner. She's energetic, fun, and meets everyone where they are. Can't recommend Pia enough!

I cannot say enough about Pia and her Pialates. I have been her student for nearly three years, and I give all credit to her for making me stronger than I've ever been. Her depth of knowledge about the connection between the pelvic floor and many issues that specifically face women is unique in the fitness space. Plus, every session with her is fun. She's also a great person. Best Pilates ever!!!

I was so grateful to find Pia after having my first baby and not knowing where I should start with recovery. Her extensive knowledge of the pelvic floor helped me to really understand what my body was going through. Her sessions taught me something new every week and she sent me home with personalized exercises and stretches to work on between meetings. Pia is not only an excellent Pilates instructor, she is also kind, patient and so fun. She truly helped my postpartum recovery so much, I highly recommend Pia and her services!

Update: We have now been taking our son to Pialates for a little over 2 months & we couldn't be happier with his improvements. This is all thanks to Pia. She is AMAZING & has done more for my son in the form of therapy than any of his doctors have in the past several months. We will be forever grateful to her.
Today was the first time taking my son to Pialates as a form of therapy & we loved it. Pia was helpful, informative & very attentive to his needs. One session in & my son's posture was already looking better than it had in the previous months. My son is looking forward to future sessions with Pia.

I have an old hip injury that flared up halfway through my pregnancy and I needed someone who could help me manage it properly while also preparing me to deliver our little lovebug. Pilates with Pia has worked tremendously. Not only has my hip been better, but our sessions have been the perfect balance of strengthening and loosening the right muscles for labor. The knowledge and experience she has in women’s health is clearly demonstrated as she tailors our sessions to prevent and reduce common pregnancy issues and has connected me to my pelvic floor. Pialates has literally changed my life. As a Software Engineer, I had not noticed what sitting at my desk for so long was doing to my body. Every time I have a session with Pia, I walk away not only feeling strong but realigned and relaxed! This has truly been a game changer for my lifestyle. The best part -- that I can meet with her virtually. It is extremely convenient and practical as I can just schedule a session during a break in my schedule. Highly highly recommend! I started seeing Pia when I was about 3 months pregnant, as I was looking for a pilates instructor who specializes in prenatal work. I can honestly say she has helped me SO much throughout my pregnancy (I'm now 5.5 months along and feeling great) - we focus a lot on pelvic floor exercises, breathing techniques and total body movements/workout. Pia has made me aware of my full body's connection to my pelvis, which is extremely important for pregnancy / labor. Not only is Pia an awesome instructor, she is such a great and genuine person. I look forward to our one hour sessions twice a week because I know not only am I going to get a great workout/stretch in, but I love our chats and conversations as well!

I cannot recommend Pia's Pilates classes enough! I do strength and conditioning training at least 5 times a week. Working with Pia has supplemented my training in order to support areas that really needed it like mobility, range of motion, etc. Pia is experienced and so knowledgeable. We focus a lot of pelvic floor engagement which is not something I've experienced with other trainers. As a woman athlete, this is so incredibly important and greatly overlooked in treatments and training. Her in- person classes are out-of-this-world good! The machines, coupled with her grace and knowledge as a Pilates instructor, made a world of difference for me! My only regret is not being local. If I was, I'd be in her studio everyday. If you live in Austin, you are so lucky! Go see her and you won't regret it!
Pia is warm and truly cares about her clients. This is clear even in the online classes I've taken with her.

I have been practicing pilates for about 5 years in Austin and California, and Pia is by far my favorite instructor! Unlike many pilates instructors, Pia is a true professional who dedicates herself to learning about the science behind pilates in order to better serve her clients' diverse health needs. Her experience partnering with chiropractors makes her an excellent choice for anyone with spinal issues (like myself); while she can certainly give you a great workout that will leave you sore, I have always found her to be sensitive to my limitations and eager to modify our sessions to honor my body's current capacity. In addition to being exceptionally knowledgable, Pia's unfailingly positive, friendly attitude makes her a joy to be around. You would be hard-pressed to find a better pilates instructor in Austin or anywhere else!

I have been seeing Pia as my pilates instructor for several years now. While she is an exceptional pilates instructor she is really so much more to me. Pia keeps my body well and strong but she also fuels my soul with her positive energy. It's hard to describe but Pia has a special essence which makes her sessions even better. Pia has extensive training in physical rehabilitation so her knowledge of the body is far greater than your average pilates instructor. This is important to me as I am prone to muscular issues and she knows how to strengthen specific muscular groups without hurting me.
Additionally, Pia takes COVID very seriously and goes above and beyond to make sure her studio is disinfected and safe.

As a crossfit athlete, stretching and finding ways to increase mobility and decrease muscle tightness can be challenging. Until recently, I had
never considered pilates.
Thanks to Zoom and quarantine, the opportunity to participate in Pia's classes were ideal. I am so grateful I was able to explore and integrate pilates into my fitness goals. It has helped to increase my weightlifting performance and overall wellness. In addition, on a recent trip to Austin, I visited her studio. I was so impressed with my sessions using her equipment and learning new exercises. Pia's expertise, guidance, and positive spirit truly creates an experience that is challenging in new ways and yet fun. If you are looking for a way to enhance your athleticism, Pialates presents an opportunity for all ages and fitness levels. Go for it! You won't be disappointed.
