Way too packed, way too many people go to this gym. Takes forever to work out because of all the people. Gym is way too small and too crowded, service also sucks, employees are not the friendliest probably because it's so busy, they always run out of disinfectant, paper towels so machines are not always clean and even if they are clean they're usually broken I would definitely not recommend this location.

Everything ok. No free barbells, all smith machines. Largest dumbell is 75lb. Its good to keep the place cool, but having all big ass fans running makes it windy and uncomfortable to workout. It don't let you break a sweat or keep body warm.

This club wants you to sign in 3 -4 times per hour. It’s extremely frustrating when 10 minutes before I had just found it on my phone to sign in. About 7 years I’ve been a member and since this one opened 3 yrs ago. I go most days. Now I’m thinking of quitting due to this totally unintelligent decision they have!!!! !!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been a member of Planet Fitness for about two months now, joining through my insurance plan, and overall, it's been a frustrating experience. I’ve had one employee constantly hounding me about putting a card on file, even though I’m a member through insurance and no other staff members seem to have an issue with this. What’s even worse, when I finally provided the card, they signed for me without my consent, which felt unprofessional and invasive.

To add to the frustration, I’ve seen people walking on the treadmills *without shoes*, and somehow, that doesn't raise any concern with the staff. They’re quick to push me on the card, yet ignore basic gym policies that could impact everyone’s safety. Planet Fitness should prioritize consistency in enforcing their rules and not single out certain members over trivial issues.

Enforcement of posted and outlined rules is rarely enforced. Too many members improperly using equipment to the point of equipment failure, resulting in a lack of good atmosphere. Daily occurrence of gymtimidation and lunk head activity. I got clarification that dumbbell/weight dropping is ok by their standards, but frown upon throwing dumbbells/weights which results in members still making excessive noise.

I’ve been a member since the first day it opened. It’s getting Ridiculous! My problem here is with the manager. Which should be the last person having problems with customers. He applies the “rules” only to certain customers. Which are mainly WOMEN. Don’t set this gym to be your home gym. I recommend Donna or Pharr gym. Only reason I was in this gym was because it’s closer to me. But at this point I prefer to drive the extra miles than have to deal with this ridiculous person.

Decent place to work out but the manager Ricky goes on a power trip, terrible customer service and attitude, not sure how he managed to get to that position with that attitude. Several workers tell us one thing and he totally goes the other direction and says that its his rules he is the manager and doesnt care what the other employees say! Ok let me start with how nice the people that work here are BUT...they are lazy and don't do what they're supposed to...no paper towels, all were empty!!! No soap in the bathroom...these kids that work there are lazy and instead of doing their job they walk around carrying weights OR just stand there talking to one another.. While there are no paper towels...Another thing, women's bathroom had blood splattered on the floor and I went the next day and it was still there...Also a lot of the machines don't have working fans.. .. A lot of the TV's don't work either I mean they charge everyone $50 something a year to maintain everything but can't fix what's broken...

This place is insane…it reminds me of a Gold’s GYM on Dove, McAllen 10yrs ago. Read my reviews of Planet fitness Georgetown, TX. That was my favorite planet fitness. Oh and Tyler, TX. This place just feels like the right gym to not feel uncomfortable. The tall girl up front “stretch”is very good with people. I truly despise hearing the alarm but it works.

I have been coming to this planet fitness for over a year, however there are new employees there now and they are terrible. I went on a Friday, February 2, 2024 around 10 pm. I was waiting for a very long time for assistance at the front desk along with other customers. When two employees finally came out of a back room they attended me. It looked like they may have been doing something inappropriate in the back room. There was one male and one female employee. The male was kind and helpful the female was being extremely rude to me and my friend. I was so upset I just walked out of the gym. I've always come to the gym with a friend and used the massage chairs for 10 to 20 min. This woman was dead set in making sure that doesn't happen. I was confused and tried explaining to her that I am paying for the full membership, the employees have always let us use the massage chairs. She expected me to leave my freind behind while I use the massage chairs by myself. How could you bring a friend to the gym and do something horrible to them like that? I am terminating my black card membership. I do not want to pay to get treated like that. I hope they do something about that employee. I believe her name was something like Cheyenne but I'm not really sure I could not get her name. Definitely do not go here if this woman is at the front desk! If this is planet fitness' policy I am not paying to go to this gym anymore until they fix that problem.

WellI only went 3 times because the last 2 times I was so disappointed. I had bought the upgraded membership to use the massage rooms but both times I asked the front desk person to sign me into different rooms, they said sure they are ready. Then I go in and the screen says you need an authorization code to start it. So I go back out and suddenly there is no one to be found to help me. So I just left. I am not chasing people down and if they are not going to make sure the things I pay for are working, why pay for them. Also I came very early one morning to meet their trainer, who is suppose to offer ono on ones at like 7am on certain days. I get there and ask about it and was told the trainer was not there and I needed an appointment. I WAS TOLD THE DAY BEFORE NO APPT. NEEDED. Then I ask about an appt. And am told I would have to come back when the trainer was there make an appt. He was suppose to be there then according to the schedule. SO basically if you go just go to use the equipment and don't pay extra for anything else or expect anything else. Only reason I gave it a 3 was because it isvery clean.

Every single time I come to this gym is freaking packed as fudge planet fitness literally lets anyone come to their facility 🤦‍♂️ every single station fill with a bunch high school kids it’s freaking annoying! I literally put down my beats mind you they are super old and really really beat up not even the brand new ones I go to the bathroom for like a minute come out and they are GONE 🤬🤬🤬! Staff is great and very polite! The problem are the gym members who do not clean after themselves, leave water bottles, trash and used gum on the equipment. Also, I understand how the equipment can break due to usage but some of these member’s are dropping the weight stacks causing the pins/cables to snap. Overall it’s a great place but it could be better if there was more attention placed on the members causing the mess or damage to the equipment. .

One other thing I see on these reviews, if there is any negative reviews. Planet Fitness will say to contact the gym manager but iI believe it would have more weight coming from someone higher up at Planet Fitness to address these issues.

I’m a PF member, and have been visiting this gym for the past week. First, the front staff are very pleasant, attentive, and welcoming, but that’s where the positive stops. The members here do not take pride in their very nice PF. I can count on one hand, during my wo time, individuals putting equipment back or wiping down ANYTHING! Maybe because any dumbbells/bars are only in one side of the gym, and it’s too much effort. There is not a culture of cleanliness, so why wipe things down? Staff are not “actively” cleaning equipment. I felt the need to clean before/after and to put things back that I didn’t use, because the gym is very messy! I only saw one poor lady mopping, and trying to keep the floors clean. The equipment is dusty! Lastly, one held-fast rule of PF is no “permanent” locks in the locker room. There were 35 locks when I arrived, and 33 when I left. There were NOT that many women in the gym, and all the nice long lockers were “taken.” Whoever is managing this PF needs to step up and be more attentive. The inmates are controlling the asylum.

Very nice facility and great location. One of the few 24/7 PFs in the Valley. Very clean, well maintained, a good selection of new machines. Even the set up is great in that no one is working out in front of you because machines are staggered/spaced apart to avoid overlap. Nicely done.
