Needs a "family plan" for couples.

As I said when we visited, the "black card" membership is pretty close to useless for a couple, who almost will NEVER be able to come at the same time.

What would be better would be a couple membership where each gets the "black card" benefits - but without the guest privileges. Paying $50/mo for a married couple is way too expensive.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem. It's clean and well-maintained - and it doesn't have that funky smell associated with gym facilities - not even in the locker rooms. The staff is friendly and professional and you can get help if you need it. Or you can do your own thing without feeling any judgement. There is plenty of equipment and enough for even busy times.

Edit later: RECORD YOUR CONVERSATIONS -- I see we are trying to say that "it's clearly stated on the website." Fine, it might have been, but that isn't what was communicated to me when I was on location and point blank asked the employee. I need to start recording conversations at these sketch gyms. They have such predatory sales tactics in person, but then use "but on the website" to cover their lack of honesty in person.

Shady as hell customer service. They lure you in with their cheap monthly prices, tell you that you can cancel at any time, and then hit you with all kinds of fees if you want to cancel.

My wife and I signed up for a membership and asked details on the fees. Were told only a monthly fee. Later, we get charged with a much larger charge than the monthly fee we were told and called in. Turns out there is an annual fee as well and we can't cancel after the annual fee without a further cancellation fee. No one said anything about this....

A year later, we go to cancel the membership because we have found a new gym that we prefer. We get fed another line of, "You are to close to the annual renewal and you will be charged the annual fee because of it." You have to give them a 7 day notice of cancellation as well as go in person in order to cancel your membership without all the additional fees...You CANNOT cancel over the phone like any other service. Again, something that was not mentioned to us when we tried to cancel the first time even though we asked what else we would need upon cancellation.

Overall, just shady as hell and no one tells you all the information. Don't buy in to their cheap prices for a mediocre gym experience.

Our planet fitness here is clean, staff is always nice, and everyone is mindful when using the machines. I will say it can get a little warm in the side rooms. I've tried Golds & trufit, too, but I keep coming back to Planet Fitness. They've got the best machines and prices, and they're the cleanest.

Worst customer service ever. Kurt made me call corporate myself, adding an extra 15 minutes to check in process bc he could not pull up account by phone or name. Is this hiw you treat black card members? Then after successfully logging into account and showing him that I’m an active member, he tells me i have to download app now. I found the place Ok for the price. Wasn’t thrilled with the locker rooms. Had to bring soap shampoo etc. After several years my partner and I decided to cancel our membership and go to Crunch. The cancellation process was easy except for the fact I was charged a $58 buyout fee but my partner wasn’t?!? We had the exact same membership but we had different clerks checking us out. These companies love to nickel and dime you to death. I will be turning this over to my attorney based on discrimination.

The beauty angel red light machine has 8 bulbs out and massage chair 2 is tweaking so bad it can injure a spine.. I was a licensed massage therapist and this is a serious claim I stand by.. Repairs have been needed for quite some time. My money won't transfer here unless repairs are done. One hydro machine down. Water filters bad with chlorine taste which is actually worse for you than tap water itself, google it. Hey guys Crunch fitness is all new and only $10 month no contract, get it together.

I have had a really good experience at this PF location. The staff are all friendly, and the atmosphere is exactly what I hoped for. I also had a good experience with their personal trainer, who set me up with a workout plan that worked for what I want, but also keeps me doing different stuff in the gym throughout the week. This is the first time I've gone to a gym this regularly, but have been going for about the past 8 months. They keep the gym clean which is good. The selection of non-cardio options are more limited and is the reason for losing a star. If all you want is cardio then they have everything you'd need. The early morning crew, Lauren and Brenda, really make the experience better! Having people who greet you and know your name make the gym feel more inviting. When I went the other day at a time neither of them was working it just felt odd to go to the same gym I'm a regular of and be unknown.

Definitely one of my favorite PF's. If I can change one thing it would be the hours of operation. They currently open at 4am weekdays. But the gym was nice. Definitely on the larger side for a PF. Very nice and well thought out gym layout. More cardio machines than I'm used to seeing. Dumbbells, racks and machines were all in great working order. The gym was very clean and staff friendly and engaged with the customers as they came in. Looking forward to coming back if I'm in Bryant, Tx again.

Tanning rooms dont have mirrors in 'em (if you're into that type of thing.)

My absolute favorite thing about Planet Fitness is that you do not make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your membership. Honestly some gyms are so difficult to cancel it's just bad business. I have had my planet fitness membership for over a year and due to recent financial circumstances I have had to cancel, but in the future if I am ever able to afford a gym membership again I will absolutely be back to planet fitness. I am treated like a human being, with excellent customer service, even if I happen to have come in to cancel. The staff does not care whether you do business with them or not. When I tried to sign up in person and explained that I don’t have my routing and account number nobody cares in the least not management definitely not the front desk. I just moved to the area and my bank is 8 hours away. I simple hey man that sucks I wish I could help would have gone a long way instead of walking out of the office clearly frustrated that someone wanted to ask if there was a way around this issue. Other than paying 300$ up front or 100$ a month cash. Not to mention a 50/75$ service fee to clean the gym that’s literally part of owning a gym. Overall terrible experience I do not recommend on principal alone. Maybe they could try caring if people do business with them or not instead of acting like the corporate entity that they are.

I never like giving reviews but this is the only place that made me upset enough to actually spend the time to write one, staff is usually welcoming and nice. I’ve always been one to stay away from gyms as I am a very big guy honestly never had the confidence to go I’ve spent my hole life dodging and avoiding friends that would invite me to go, well my friend finally talked me into trying the gym out and my first 3 days have been awesome I honestly loved the way nobody pays no mind and I just focus on doing the treadmill and using the machines to further pursue building muscle, it truly felt like a “Judgement Free Zone”. Today as we were using the weight machines me and my friends noticed an individual doing burn outs and dropping heavy equipment on at least 6 different machines, my friend told me we should lift our max to see where we are as of our current strength and as it was my turn I was able to lift but as I dropped it i will admit I slammed it, and the woman employee approached us charging at us and started releasing frustration and raised her voice and made a scene, I felt anxiety as I looked around and seen at least 4 set of eye balls and seeing people whispering about what they witnessed, she raised her voice and explained that the machines are expensive and I tried to defuse the situation calmly apologizing I completely knew that what I did was not okay, but why continue to raise your voice after I apologized, I felt the professional way of handling it would be to approach and respectfully came to tell me in a calm manner, she then proceeded to tell us that we have been slamming them multiple times tonight when this was the only set we did that I wasn’t able to handle, so I also learned she is quick to point the finger without even witnessing you do it. But I just lost the mood and felt shame as everyone stared at me getting scold at, I did my best to defuse the situation, and proceeded to raise her voice as I looked around and knew I was dealing with the reason I never wanted to go to begin with, felt all the eye balls just being judged, and all because the employee wasn’t train well enough to not draw attention or make an entire scene. As we proceeded to finish our sets the individual continued going around dropping every machine as she only stared at him, where was the fairness in that? I knew I did wrong but really felt distasteful the way she handled it.
