I have been coming here for about a month now and will say this gym has definitely exceeded my expectations. The first couple of weeks I was coming, my expectations weren’t the highest. I received a feedback email and gave them an honest score and feedback only to be called back twice the following day requesting to speak to me about my comments. I did miss both calls but the following day I came into the gym and one of my biggest grievances was corrected immediately which was the moldy shower curtains in the locker room. My only other concern was it didn’t seem like some of the staff were doing their jobs when it came to making sure there were paper towels in the dispensers to wipe down equipment but I was pleasantly surprised how quickly that was corrected. Today I went in for about a two hour work out. One of the gentlemen that works there named Brandon spent the ENTIRE time cleaning, vacuuming, talking to customers and making sure the gym looked good. Now I don’t expect a perfect gym 24/7 but seeing how quickly they listened to my feedback really showed how amazing the customer service really is and definitely has made my journey going back to the gym a lot more enjoyable.

So first let me say not all planet fitnesses are the same the one I joined originally in Pennsylvania was fantastic and very customer-oriented so far I've noticed in Conroe Texas at least two locations that are not very customer-oriented the South loop 336 location. Supposedly tonight they close at 9:00 which I saw on the website but I did not see anywhere on the website that you could not tan half an hour before they close I drove almost half an hour to get here to this location. I had a little bit of a dispute with the guy behind the counter but he said that's the owner's wishes. In that case they need to post that on their website. He said 8:30 and when I first approached the desk it was like 8:00 it took him almost 4 or 5 minutes to get to the counter. I have noticed in the Texas locations in Conroe that their staff is extremely lazy. I have never seen a broom in any of their hands I have never seen a mop in anybody's hands. They are young kids and basically they're just a pretty face I guess and they ain't even that pretty. You are literally just a number to these locations. I will not visit either location again I will drive out of my way to go to a better location. And again remember they're not all the same some of them are awesome. But if you are inclined to join a planet fitness do not join anywhere in Conroe. And to the owner of this particular establishment you need to post if you're shutting down certain services on your website. And I will also be making a note to corporate

I stopped by this gym on 08/09/2024 to get information about joining. There were two guys at the front desk, however, neither greeted me. I told the guy closest to me that I'd like information about joining and he proceeded to show me the membership on a sheet of paper. After acknowledging understanding of the info I waited for a few seconds for him to offer a tour but he just stood there with such finality as if his job was completed. Since, he didn't offer, I asked if I could look around while still hoping he'd offer to show me the gym but he simply said I could go view the gym. I decided not to join because I already knew the kind of service to expect from that interaction. I've never had this experience at any other gym, staff is usually friendly and willing to give tours or even offer a free trial etc. I hope the management will provide training to their staff to improve customer service.

Have only been coming here because I save time & gas coming here versus the Frazier location. Even upgraded my membership to do so. Not worth it. It’s very hit or miss whether you’re greeted upon arrival. The staff is ALWAYS standing around yapping, meanwhile majority of the paper towel dispensers are empty & the showers in the women’s locker room are horrifying. This has been my experience regardless of what time of day I come. Do better.

Once again the cancellation process lives right up to the stereotype of being the worst gym in the world to cancel your membership with. Called to cancel and they said they can't do that, I would need to come in to the store. Next day take off for lunch to drive to the store I called and they tell me oh they can't do that, is need to drive to the other location where I started the membership cause it's my home gym. Complete waste of time and efficiency for everyone involved. Just add the cancellation feature on the app and website so we can cancel without all of the unnecessary hassle. Honestly makes me want to never use this gym again. Might even have my wife and friends cancel their memberships as well.

So maybe somebody can answer this question for me this establishment asks us as customers to maintain their equipment to clean it off with towels, but yet majority of the time the three people that are upfront are sitting there on their phones or talking to one another while four of the dispensers as of tonight do not have any towels in them and this isn’t just a one time thing it’s a ongoing issue that the help isn’t sufficiently doing their job I wish I was able to go to work and chitchat all day long and get paid and not do my job,

Gym isn't usually busy at night, or after 9 p.m., but is still worth going to during the day, as long as you dont go at 5. The staff were extremely helpful, and even plugged my phone in while I went to get a massage.(it was at 2%)

I honestly would have given it 5 stars but it’s only some staff members especially the white person with glasses and mustache who cleans, told me I can’t wear crocs. I totally understand the policy. However I wore birks, the other day and no one said anything. There were people a lot of other people that were wearing open toes shoes. I highly suggest displaying a sign soon. This not only wasted my travel time but made me very upset. Like I could have had a warning and they could have let me workout but they were adamant (the white guy I mentioned) would not let me workout. Look if there is a rule it should be for everyone not selective people. Others were in there with birks and open toes working out and nothing was said to them. I’m on the smaller frame so I could be that they thought I wouldn’t argue. Which they are right I don’t argue, but the others who had a bigger frame and built were not told the same thing. No equality. They should do a better job! Make it standardized. Made my experience bad today. I could be angry and give it 1 star but I want to give an honest opinion. The gym itself is very nice. So I don’t want to take anything away from that. It’s just the staff have to be sincere and most importantly equal.

Very rude lady staff when I walked in and asked if membership would work at this gym. had an attitude like I interpreted her chatting it up with her coworkers at the front counter then told me to enjoy my workout very sarcastically. Not to mention only one leg press machine, only one leg curl machine. Worst gym ive honestly ever been to never going back. Fitness Project just north is way cooler more free weights super nice staff way. Plantes fitness lame zero stars waste of time. Don't get a membership here youll regret it

First impression was not great. When I arrived about 5:15pm, several employees standing around at the front counter. No one acknowledged that there were members walking in .
When I told the lady it was my first time, she looked at me like I had 2 heads. She said, " I need to take your picture". She took the picture, did not offer to show me around, or ask any questions. She left me to figure it out by myself.
After finishing my workout, I tried to ask about tanning beds, massage chairs but she gave me very little information. I'll be back tomorrow, I'm hoping for a different experience.

Great location! Plenty of exercise equipment, massage chair's after a workout, tanning beds for women and shower's to rinse off. There's a Kroger Market across the road if you're hungry. The Wi-Fi has good connection. The staff is friendly, patient and professional. There's vending machines that offer tanning lotions and oils plus food as well.

A couple minor improvements would make this gym great. I really like the gym location, the staff is friendly, and how new and clean everything is. A couple notes: the women’s locker room could use one more bench, one more floating counter w/mirror (could be put on wall by scale), a big one: the women’s 1 changing stall could easily be converted into two stalls. A shelf could also be put in large bathroom stall to put clothes to be able to change in there as well. The tanning areas are really hot: could easily install a wall mounted ac to give that area a little more air. Also, 1 more lay down tanning bed would be nice so there’s more than 1.

Love me some planet fitness. This Conroe location has the better RLT and has the the “cryo” beds but no lay down hydro massage and only 2 deep tissue chairs which feel smaller compared to the other location. The facility is much smaller but not as busy. Less options for the machine but still everything you need. I noticed this location has a lot of machines I regular but with “mobile arms” which I hate as a women on machines seemingly built for men the “mobile leverage” is my kryptonite

For me I think it has a lot to do with the staff just being young, customer service just isn't what it used to be they seem to be pretty uninformed about the services in the spa area and I just see most of them on their phone most of the time. The facility is new and the staff are absolutely excellent. They seem extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and are very helpful trying to navigate using the machines and learning the black card spy equipment but today one of the machines wasn’t working properly and the phone system was down and no one seemed to know it so I’m in a treatment room calling the front desk that is seemingly busy and then when I go out to tell them their attitude is that happens sometimes. That just seems very unsafe when you’re in a tanning bed that is malfunctioning.

5min in and I knew I wanted to cancel. Staff were friendly but the facility was just awful. Not a single bike was working. Decided to try a treadmill instead. Half the buttons were broken and it wouldn't increase speed past 3mph. Additionally, the setup is just so claustrophobia inducing. There is so much equipment (half of which is broken) just crammed into a small area that there's not space to stretch or navigate without getting in someone else's space. I've been to other PFs that were decent but think this is the worst location I've been to.

I was so excited for this location to open because it's closest to my home. Unfortunately ,about a month or so after opening, the AC quit working in the Black Card Spa area and has not been repaired since. So it incredibly hot in there. Also this location does not have the large ceiling fans to circulate the air in the workout areas. Due to these issues, I have returned to working out at an older location where these issues are not present.

I enjoyed my visit to this new gym yesterday as an out-of-state visitor. It was easy to find all of my machines. Paying for the Black Card membership is totally worth it to have gym access wherever I travel. I was welcomed when I arrived and they quickly helped with my BC appointment times. One thing I would mention is the Ultraviolet sign in the RLT room is not necessary since RLT is not Ultraviolet. Thanks for being close to my location!

The front desk could not have been more rude about refusing me the black card spa as a guest of a black card member. "We would be losing money if every guest used it" is not professional language. Just moved back into the area and walked this beautiful gym. I talked to someone about getting a gym membership and told them I didn’t have enough money for the yearly fee over the phone. They told me the manager would make an exception so I can workout here. The manager never called me back and when I went in person to ask if they could waive the yearly fee they looked at me like I was crazy. Im going to find another gym. If you didn’t want to waive the yearly fee just tell me instead of disrespecting me.
