Decided to go back to the gym after having a membership for a while. After working out, I went to the counter to get assistance for the hydro bed I simply walked up and a lady by the name of Kristen was standing there no smile no hello no how are you? How can I help you or nothing? I had to ask her for the Hydro bed she was not friendly at all not Customer Service oriented no smile no have a good day just a blank stare!

A smile goes a long ways and so does great Customer Service.
Kristen, I hope after you get this review, you will greet your customers with a better attitude than what you had today .

The GM is a waste of time to talk to. I reported a complaint of harassment through the planet fitness website because she was going to be gone for 4 days. During her and my call she tried to intimidate me with “I have a lot of video evidence.” And when I explain why I went to the website she said “I have a cell phone.” Very rudely. Downplayed what happened because I was nice to this employee and when I set clear boundaries with him, I no longer received the simple “hi,” “have a good workout,” just became very cold and somewhere I no longer wanted to go. I wouldn’t doubt the videos she sent to HR were when I was being nice. Not the unprofessional behavior by the employee. Be careful and watch for the signs of harassment unlike what I did by ignoring the comments about my butt, and my silhouette. When the employee felt like he could touch me that is when I decided to report alongside the cold behavior.
Tanning beds have a layer of burnt oil on them. Walls have a layer of dust collecting, many things broken for MONTHS. I’m a 3 year member with planet fitness. Love planet, but this location needs a big reality check.

I entered the gym located at 1906 N Frazier St, Conroe, TX 77301 with my son to work out before heading to my job, but was taken aback when the employees started laughing, which left me momentarily perplexed and wondering if I had inadvertently done something incorrect. Two male employees were laughing, while the female employee remained silent, seemingly aware that I had noticed their behavior. This constituted a subpar customer service experience.

The staff are ABSOLUTELY incredible, Brandon, the manager Kristin, Adam and mark are the best, (haven’t met any of the other employees but I can almost guarantee they are just as incredible) the equipment is clean, everything about this gym is amazing, the ONLY bad thing I could say is the people are shady, I was banned from going here because some lady called and made a complaint which was most likely fake, of course this isn't planet fitness's fault but other than the shady people, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this gym to any and everyone!! It became a second home because I started rehabbing Myself after being in a severe car wreck in 2020 the first picture was me in 2020, the other ones are my "I'm proud and gonna let my hardwork show pictures" I can honestly say planet fitness played an AMAZING role in my recovery

100% recommend that you read the contract before you sign . . That being said i live the 24hours a day 7 days a week because you can ho after work after kids get on bus for school or whenever you feel the need and I recommend the black card because its tanninng massage and heifers everything else

As someone with a variable work schedule and a fitness lover, this place is a godsend. Before I learned about this place, I attended the conroe rec center at candy cane park, and my main issue was that they were closed whenever i needed to go work out. Learning that planet fitness was open 24/7 was all I needed to know in order to get me to immediately grab the black card (premium) membership, as it is more than worth it.

I’m an older woman trying to stay active. I love the fact that everyone, especially the attendants treat me with respect and friendliness. The other members are so patient when it takes me a little while to get on or off a machine. It is the highlight of my day!

I paid for my membership with my debit card, for almost the entire year of 2019-2020. Then they refused my debit card and demanded I give them direct access to my bank account. I refused, which is my legal right, and my credit took a huge blow. What disgusts me is that other customers were perfectly ok with giving this company direct access to their bank accounts. NO COMPANY SHOULD EVER BE GIVEN THAT LEVEL OF CONTROL. Don't be shocked when they scam you. Do NOT sign up for this gym. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I don't have the time or money for a lawsuit, and PF refuses to work with me, so at this time, I'm screwed.

I used to have this stigma that Planet fitness was only for “new” gym goers. After working out here for a couple months, my mind has been changed. They have everything you need to get in shape or “jacked”. Price is better than any other gym too. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the lack of free weights. They have dumbbells and smith machines. Just wish they had some free weight benches and squat racks.

Called to cancel my membership, and was told that I have to come in person to cancel it. When I was finally able to come in, they had charged me the $50+ annual fee, although I hadn't used my membership for months. I told this to one of the workers, and also let them know that i had called previously to cancel, and asked to speak to a manager. Clearly, she was there, but apparently was off the clock.

I’ve been to several planet fitnesses all over the country and i genuinely did not feel safe working out here. If my boyfriend handnt have been with me i would have walked out and left. The equipment is rough and very worn down. The treadmill I got on had a belt that hardly moved. Got another one and felt like I was walking on rocks. Trash on the ground. Will not be back

After reading a couple of BAD reviews I had to write one. I go to the PF in Conroe off of 336 and I have never had any problems with the staff. I have never been talked to rude, been belittled, starred at while working out (wondering if this person is feeling self conscious and thinking someone is staring at them). Staff is always kind and helpful. I brag about my gym all the time just wish they would bring one to Willis so I can be more consistent in working out.

Pretty decent gym. Friendly staff. It’s sometimes hard to get into some of the equipment because people sit there and start browsing through their phones. Other than that most of the experience is pretty pleasant. I do enjoy coming here and paying more than at the old Gold’s gym because I feel less intimidated here. I wish they did have a daycare because I’d like to workout in the evenings if possible.

Normally I go to the other planet fitness, but I wanted to try this one out, staff was rude, the men were nice but the women were incredibly defensive and mean, they stared at me the entire time I worked out, every time I looked to the front I was being stared at “judgment free zone” not really…. I asked them about the tanning as I’ve never done it before, the lady got rude about the questions we were asking, once again the men were nice and welcoming, finally got into the tanning room and they didn’t give me any goggles for eye protection, this experience was unfortunately not welcoming and I won’t be coming back, I can’t imagine how they looked at other people there!

I am easily one of two or three of the senior members at the gym.Iam also an actual senior,over 65,so I have a lot to be thankful for in the gym .The gym could well be the reason iam alive and in descent health.I of course must apply myself.I have seen the gym at its very worst,years as far back as 2015,2016,2017,18etc,we had many severe detriment times,across the board,the entire operation was in chaos most of the time,COVID made it even worse.The addition of our current manager was the turn around surprise.We went from the bottom rung to the top rung quickly,and it's very visible,all over the gym.There are a few small changes or additions that could enhance the location ,but for the immediate timeframe we are A+++++------.

Today was my first day. Sweet girl at the front desk was warm, welcoming and helpful. I love this location. I got kicked out for wearing jeans inside the gym, this is Texas I don’t own a pair of shorts.

I signed up for Planet Fitness in June 2024, paying $56.96 for an annual membership and providing my credit card information for a monthly fee of $10.83. They charged this fee on June 24th and July 24th. However, on August 3rd, they charged an additional $15, and on August 7th, they charged $53.04 without any notification via message, email, or call. Unable to find a customer service phone number online, I reached out to the manager at their Conroe, TX branch for explanation and clarification. She responded aggressively, stating that 'This is a business.' As a result, I had to lock my credit card and request a new one from my bank. A few days later, I discovered through the Planet Fitness mobile app that they had canceled my membership without notifying me. I believe they are misusing members' accounts. Now, I am asking some resources for help to get back the money I paid for the registration. Please Be careful with this gym, technically scammer.
