The staff at Planet Fitness in Converse made my transition from Florida to Texas completely hassle-free. I requested a pause on my membership after being sick for 5 months and paying not to go.... I was granted the membership pause on September 10, 2025. I have to confirmation email and the signed document. I was charged on September 17. I was called and Sabreehya Moody informed me that my account was not paused. Her name is on my signed document from September 10. She offered to pause it now after already charging me. I could not get ahold of her boss (Lisa Garcia) with the number or email I was given. I just received 3 individual emails with new documentation with someone else's name. This company obviously doesn't know what they are doing. I will be reporting the charge as fraud because I have documentation showing it should not have been charged. I'm also closing my account asap.

Been going to this gym for three years and have seen the decline of the equipment and staff. I asked the staff to put a work order for a couple of machines and was ignored. After a month the machines are still in need of attention. The new hires are lacking in motivation and attentiveness. They seem to be bothered when asked to fill the spray bottles or refill the paper dispensers.
I hope they correct the staff and equipment problem soon because I really like the gym and I've noticed a drop in membership.

I have been coming to this gym for over a year and each time I go it gets worse and worse. The staff mostly just stands around in their phones. There have been times when I had to walk across the gym to get paper towels, and even after having multiple people tell them they were out, the dispensers still didn't get refilled. I have also seen trash on the floor in the locker room, come back over 24 hrs later, and the same trash is there. When they do clean, they leave huge piles of filled trash bags just laying around by the entrance. The last 3 times I have gone and showered in cold water. I told the staff each time and nothing was done. Finally on the third time, I had the staff member feel the water. She checked and the water heater was off. Turns out it starts beeping at some point and instead of getting it looked at, they just shut it off! I am definitely going to be looking for a new gym of things don't get fixed soon.

This Planet Fitness location is great! I really appreciate how clean and well laid out everything is. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes for a positive experience every time. My only (minor) gripe is that the gym is a bit on the smaller side, but it doesn’t take away from the overall quality. Definitely a 10/10 I’d highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a solid place to work out!

Do not get a membership here. They let the teens go in and do what they want during the summer such as jump around and mess with the tvs. You will get your belongings stolen, it happened to my son's and they had their stuff in a locked locker. Their driver's license, Military ID and everything is gone. These things are very hard to replace.

I really enjoy the friendliness of the staff, their positive attitudes and overall professionalism. I can’t stress that enough!! When walking through the gym door, It’s nice to be recognized by the staff and the welcoming gesture, is an embodiment of the Planet Fitness mission statement of belonging.
But, what I don’t enjoy, is the duration of time and lack of urgency, by Planet Fitness management, regarding the repair of gym equipment, paper towel dispensers and water fountains. A couple of weeks ago, the water fountain on the left hand side, used for refilling water bottles, was broken for two weeks prior to being repaired and today, both water fountains were out. Is this going to be another repair trend that takes two weeks to fix too! This is truly disappointing.
Just for the sake of awareness, not having water fountains available to patrons, is a violation of both public health and building codes. This cannot go weeks to fix! Please fix it asap!

Signed up for this gym and I go my first day and tell them it's my first day and the only thing that is said to me is take a picture. Ok that's fine that's policy, but no tour, no rules explained and thats fine been to a gym before. Notice most people have their BAGS with them so I figure thats fine. Then I go today (my third time going) and the system is down. Again that happens and everyone is signing a piece of paper so I put mine down. Then I get called out for not putting a phone number when literally nobody else did. I do because I just want to start my workout. Then I get called out again for having a bag with me. That's why im putting this one star review. I understand it's policy, but if you're only going to enforce the policy with me then we have a issue. Instead of arguing with the employee I decided to just leave. Ill try this plavlce probably one more time and hopefully take down this one star.

Love this planet fitness right around this time in the morning. Try to get there around 6 when people are either not there yet or are just leaving to get to work. Not crowded, plenty of equipment, and this location is brand new so it's still got that new car smell. Only thing is they need mirrors in the tanning bed booths.

I cancelled my membership due to having been sick with COVID for a while and being advised to stop working out until I fully recover. These ppl still made me come in ACTIVELY sick with Covid just to cancel using my phone number when this is something that could have been done over the phone. They risked not only my health but their own and everyone else’s over something that could have been handled over the phone. Idk who’s making up these rules but you need some more managerial training, you’re clueless!

This is the absolute BEST PF that I've ever been to. What sets it apart is how clean it is and the layout of the equipment, making it easy to find what you're looking for. Love going here ever since I joined. The staff is great. The no judgement zone is what makes it cool. Everyone at this location either helps out others or just stays to themselves. In and out. The hydro chairs are fantastic after a hard workout. The restrooms are super clean. The equipment stays clean because everyone cares about keeping it clean.

I think the most obvious they are unqualified children. None of em have degrees. But the worst apart that they lie through to police just because they don't terms of contracts. Visiting from Miami, FL and stumbled upon the Planet Fitness on Farm to Market Road in Converse, TX – what a gem! The cleanliness here is top-notch, I felt right at home. The gym isn’t maintained. Paper towels are constantly on the floor and weights laying around. Employees need to do something besides stand behind the desk. If you all are going to let teenagers workout for free then limit the hours and days they can come because it makes it hard and unfair for people who pay for a membership to even get on some machines. On top of that the people from the other PF we’re working out at this location too.

I had a fantastic time at PF today. I was treated like anyone else. Sabria was very understanding and helpful. I will always be grateful for the handicapped accessible shower that I am able to use as a PF member. I didn't feel out of place for being in a power chair. On 7/19/2023 I returned to Planet fitness. Yes I love it. I had the pleasure of working with Kyle a trainer with Planet fitness. He helped me get comfortable with exercises that were very specific to my physical condition. I was able to use a machine and work independently. I would very highly recommend Kyle. For anyone who would like to work with a trainer.

A few pieces of exercise machines have been down for more than a week 😕... Different individuals come in and set up more than 1 piece of equipment to use at a time (some think it's their home gym) no respect for others waiting to use the same equipment 😕... this can be solved by staff walking around observing individuals using more than one machine or more than one piece of equipment at a time. Wonderful, clean gym! I would’ve given 5 stars but I’m huge on customer service so to the young lady who was there Monday Jan 16 @ 4am she should try looking up from her cell phone and actually greeting the members as they check in. It’s rude!!

Walked in an d all the staff about 4-5 of them all congregating by the front desk just gossiping. The 30 minute workout area it’s not even been checked and people just going in sitting in the equipment with their phones and some others just coming from the other gym area just o use one machine and staying on it for more than 15 minutes preventing me and others to use the 30 min workout program. No one around the floor available to answer questions in regard to the equipment use. They all hago it at the front or on their phone. No supervision whatsoever! .

The gym is overall nice but being a new facility you would think they would keep it looking good. Considering changing to Crunch Fitness down the road who offers the same and more for about the same price. I’ll give it another month.

TVs haven't work rightsince they opened half never work. Today they had 4 of 12 on same food channel 4 didn't work 2 on pf channel. Had workers working on tile at 5 in the afternoon. Heart monitors don't work on several treadmills. Workers don't care.
