I'm possibly the oldest member at this club, and it's stolen an incredible amount of money from me. I moved away, but I travel so much that I've never changed my membership to another. Occasionally I'm in town. If you don't pay attention, they automatically pretend your payment doesn't go through.But then the same exact information is eventually. used for the backup payment. Then I'm assessed a late fee. I then remedy the problem and then they pick it up again a couple years later. I'm then clipped for an automatic late fee every few years for the entire year. Pretty unbelievable and unique way to steal money. They've essentially stolen $15 a month from me all year again.

I love it here! I've gotten to know half of the staff by name and they really make me feel so welcomed and comfortable. I have another gym membership that's closer to me but I find myself coming here because of the vibe I get here. My trainer, Irvin is also a bonus. I leave feeling more accomplished than I ever have and not to mention I used to dread working out but now I love it. It's also very clean, so glad I joined this "gem". Edited to add that Vash is like gold and is always the highlight of my day. He's always walking around greeting everyone with a smile.

My money was stolen 3 times, they never give any explanations, most of the workers are rude, in short, it can be said that it is the worst gym I have trained at in my years. The behavior of the receptionists is horrible. A worker named Elsa behaved horribly. If they can't afford to hire good people, it's better not to do it. The customer dis-service at this location is horrible. The manager Alan doesn't care at all.

They charged me an initial fee to set up the account and then two months into the membership they charged me an annual fee. For a no commitment plan, I consider that to be unacceptable...That means for 3 months of service they've billed me $170 with tax already. They mention an annual fee, but they don't tell you it will be charged in the first quarter.
Two of the three sinks in the restroom have been broken for at least a month.

Due to one bad experience tonight (Friday 1/17) I am changing my review to one star from five. It’s 9:43 and I asked to use the standup tanning bed for 9 mins. The older man at the front was incredibly rude in the way he told me no I could not tan. No apology or explanation as to why I wasn’t allowed to use it; just that they were closing and I need to come back at 7 AM if I need to tan. I drove 15 minutes out of the way just to tan. I said in a very calm voice I could be fast and done well before 10 but he was incredibly rude and abrupt in telling me no. Seriously considering whether I want to keep my membership after that interaction. The exact opposite of the glowing review I left the other week (below).

My main gym is fitness connection, but I was thinking of adding planet fitness as another alternative gym for me so I signed up and got my free 1 time pass I came to this location and there was a chubby dude working up front never greeted me just made me scan my thing and then he said where is my black card I told him I have a 1 free pass to see if I like the gym or not what’s what that and he said if the owner sees I’m here he’ll kick me out and he’ll let me in this one time. But I have on the app with this location I could use this one time pass for free so I’m not understanding why he said I’d get kick out for not having a card? Please note that after 2 months of having a membership with them they charge a yearly membership fee of about $50.00 that I was not told about when I signed up, and you can not cancel your membership until you have paid it. I have been there for about 3 months and will not be going back but I'm charged as if I was there for a year! 🤔 I don't understand how you can charge someone a year fee and you are just trying it out not knowing if you will stay. So, what seems like a good deal may not always be. I feel scammed! Times are really hard for a lot of people and this is just really sad.

I've been a member of Planet Fitness with 3 other members for years now because we travel a lot. Unfortunately, I have to find a new home gym because I no longer feel safe coming to this specific gym location. When speaking to management, they said they would not do anything to keep the environment safe. Lockers are being broken into, homeless people living in the locker rooms constantly, people getting tazed, are just a few incidences that happen on a daily basis. This location should really think about operating this facility as a business and not a charity.

I recently had to cancel my membership at this gym, a decision driven by multiple factors. The final straw was the requirement for yet another photo, the fifth time this has been requested. While Brock, one of the employees, was calm and pleasant, my interactions with another staff member, Jose, were consistently negative. Jose’s tone was often condescending, making the experience uncomfortable. Probably moving to Fitness Connection on Forest and Marsh.

Pros:
-Cheap Cost (Too much so that homeless could get memberships)
-Most Employees Are nice

Cons:
- No Real Classes
- Hydromassage Machine #1 doesn’t work well
- You only get 10 min intervals on Hydromassage
- Frequent and unnecessary photo retakes
- Unpleasant interactions with staff member Jose, characterized by a condescending and negative tone.
- The gym’s policy of (allowing homeless) individuals access to memberships. This led to them frequently using the gym equipment, showers, and toilets, which personally made me uneasy and contributed to my decision to cancel my membership.

I used to like Planet Fitness. The Black Card amenities of water massage bed, tanning and red light therapy are nice. This location does not tell you that they lock the doors a half hour before close and will not let you back in. The night I got a membership at this gym I stepped out at 9:29pm to my car to get antacid because I had heartburn. I knocked on the glass when I found the doors locked. The guy came to the door. He had literally just watched his coworker walk me through the entire sign up process around 9:05pm. I drove twenty minutes to get to this location to work out. He refused to let me back in even though he clearly recognized me. I wrote an email to them to cancel my membership and a lady called back and said that was not supposed to happen (the doors closing thirty minutes before close) and said they would refund my membership fee. They didn’t refund it. Apparently they just want to treat members rudely by staff who barely acknowledge you and could care less and then the company just steals your money after treating you poorly. I liked the amenities and the longer hours versus LA Fitness, but an obviously not paid enough to care about members staff make this location not worth my time to drive here or my money. It’s a shame. I liked having this gym as an option.

I have mixed emotions about this facility. I went to get information to join, and the young gentleman helped me by giving me pricing on a sheet with three choices. I just moved to Texas a couple of months ago, and I'm waiting for my ID and driver's license to come in. I had to surrender my old driver's license to get the new one. He said a photo ID like a library card or something expired would work. I had my old passport, and he said that was fine. I came in two days later with the paperwork, including the quotation of the membership fees. A new female salesperson helped me sign up with the quotation that I had in hand. It was handwritten with the prices and the date that it was good until. However, she then brought out another price and changed it, saying that it's not the price now. It was clearly a week before the expiration date handwritten on the membership prices. She told me that the daily rate changes every single day and that this is the new price today. I'm not really sure how this type of business works when you give someone a handwritten quote with the prices and then change it a week prior to the expiration date on the price quoted. This is a classic bait and switch, and it's completely intolerable and very poor business. The facility itself seems to be very clean with quality equipment and amenities. However, I clearly walked out frustrated and probably will never sign up with this facility.

Good gym if you want to do strictly cardio and basic weightlifting routine. You can’t do free weights barbell bench press, shoulder press, or squats (the more advanced stuff), but that’s all planet fitness locations. For the price, the gym overall is pretty good value.

The gym is usually clean and well maintained. Monday to Thursday it is usually packed in evenings, but otherwise not so bad. Used to be 24/7 but not anymore since attendance is Down. Staff and members always nice folk.

Great place to workout I have been going her for almost a year friendly staff for the most part. I feel like night shift doesn't pull their weight as much due to sometimes the cleaning stations not having the spray cleaning solution, towel dispenser being empty, and trashcans being full. I can understand when there is only one person they are limited to what one can do but majority of the time there's 2 people working. I normally go in the morning and there's balls of hair in the women's shower or specs of trash from the dirt on our shoes in the dressing stalls. There's been a few times where I've seen random people in the locker rooms sleeping and no one says anything until later in the morning. Cassie one of the workers there is always working and very friendly have had a few conversations with her. Cassie and Jesus always greets people in and out of the gym and have a very good communication between one another when help is needed. I hope this review gets to HR or the owner to appreciate the hard workers they have in the morning and what they through to maintain the place clean so people can enjoy their workout.

I travel the country and use planet fitness all over. This one so far is the top 3 dirtiest ones in six states and 15 cities I have visited so far. Staff talks with friends at the desk instead of cleaning. Boils down to the owners that just don't care. The bathrooms are the worst. So sad

So far really like the gym, two hydromassage are broken but other two still working. I do workout at night and this location is really close to my place, only and main complain I have is when they gonna make it 24hours for Friday Saturday and Sunday night? Because I do workout at night. Summer is gone so why still it's there ??please change Friday Saturday and Sunday to 24hours so it would be much more easier for members at night time to workout.

Seriously I need more stars for this gym!!! I have bee been using Planet Fitness for over 5 years at least. I have lived in Maui, O’ahu (big difference) Dallas, SoCal and used PF in all 3 states.

THIS ONE is by far the nicest one I have ever scene hands down!!!! I’m also a member of Equinox and don’t exactly fly coach.

I have a Black Card Membership if you don’t your truly missing one of the best deals there is and has been going for a long time (Thanks PF)

All weights were clean, put up “in the right spot”. Easy to ry York on with plenty of TVs and Great internet connection!!!!!

This PF had a whole room of Hydrobeds with two sets of sitting areas while you wait with two new, nice leather chairs and a table in each area!!! Four very new And super clean Beds. The Hydrobed room was perfectly lit for the mood with ZERO light bulbs out (rare). This is exactly what I needed after an 8 hour from
Maui!!

Tanning beds (yup I Live in Maui and tan!!) Use PF beds and you would too. Again ZERO disappointment here either! I have yet to see or experience these new standup beds but they close differently almost like a nice set of French Doors. The fans inside the beds are New too. Three silver floor to ceiling tubes that emit nice cool air which you can adjust!!

Next stop the massage chairs….again another private room two New chairs clean as a whistle!!! Nothing disappoints here either Big Flat Screen too.

Let’s talk locker room and showers!! I have never used a shower at PF until today. After my “mini” day of beauty, relaxation and bliss I needed a shower. They were SPOTLESS!! I could not resist!!! Soap Full, Again New mats outside shower…

Last and MOST IMPORTANTLY JONATHAN, JAY , BETO AND CASSANDRA you guys made it real with your warm friendly knowledgeable help!!!

This should be a model Franchise for the rest of the nation as far as I’m concerned being self employed my whole life!!

DAY 3. Sunday October 9, 2022. I was greeted today by Jesus!! Once again never a disappointment.

Friendly, outgoing, consistent staff at this PF. I’m spending a good part of my day here using all PF has to offer again!

When you come by ask if Jesus is in for any help you may need with a smile!!

I was talking with Alan today to asking him how many TVs and we counted at least 44 Flat Screens!! Great Guy Alan.

Also while we were talking Jesus came back in off the clock to work out!! Now that says A Lot!!!

Lo único q no me gusta en este momento es q pago un gym de 24 horas y este en lo personal esta manejando viernes cierre a las 7, sábado abre a las 8 y vuelve a cerrar a las 7 y domingo abre 8 y cierra 7 asta el lunes en la mañana q vuelve a abrir y pues vuelvo a repetir pago por un gym 24/7

Rude customer service at the front desk I was denied entry for being 2days late on my account the account is still ACTIVE my bill business shouldn't be front desk business unless it's 30 days late or more 2days late u denying entry on a Active account other gyms are not like that this gym won't u workout bc ur two days late horrible customer service
