I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and accountability at this Planet Fitness location. My daughter left an item behind, and despite multiple attempts to contact staff and management, no one has returned my calls or shown any urgency in addressing the issue.
What’s even more concerning is that one of the staff members openly admitted that if a member leaves something behind, other employees might take it home. That is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about honesty and integrity within the staff.

Trying to get a manager to call back or take responsibility feels like pulling teeth. This is disgusting behavior for a business that’s supposed to promote a safe and trustworthy environment. I expected much better from Planet Fitness. Canceling our membership after 3/4 years.

Cool People here But just wanted to let you know They will FALSELY Advertise a No Commitment promotion, no contract / cancel anytime. I was trying to cancel my membership and when I signed up it said on posters and I even asked a staff member if it was true they said yes and signed up now I’m injured and tried canceling my membership and they say I was under contract and must pay a fee I actually really liked this gym but after this they left a sour taste I was sent back and forth between call center and this gym it’s a pain

I went today, and they were fixing the hand dryer. Ask the front employee for paper towels, and she said they don't support having them in the lady's room while she was on the phone. She could have put some in lady locker Rm. Instead, been in the phone all the time they should at greet the people.

Not Worth the Money

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had a bad experience with Planet Fitness due to an unexpected charge and the lack of transparency in the information provided to me. Initially, I signed up with the intention of canceling my membership after a few months due to personal reasons. In October, I went to the location to inquire about the cancellation process, and the employee who assisted me gave me two options:

1. Cancel immediately and pay a $60 cancellation fee.

2. Wait until the end of February or the beginning of March, continue paying four more months at $10 per month, and cancel without paying the cancellation fee.

I chose the second option, as it seemed more convenient, and I fulfilled the payments. However, when I checked my card in February, I discovered a $53 charge for an annual fee that I was never informed about. In other words, instead of paying the $40 as I was told, I ended up paying $93 due to this annual fee.

I decided to go back in March to cancel my membership, expecting the promised cancellation. While they canceled it without the $60 fee, when I tried to explain that the $53 charge was not disclosed to me, the manager was completely indifferent. Not only did she not offer a solution, but she interrupted me and told me that no refund would be issued, CONVENIENTLY arguing that I should have canceled before January to avoid this charge.

This process was very frustrating. I was not properly informed about the annual fee, and the manager's lack of professionalism was evident. Had I been told this upfront, I would have chose the first option to avoid the additional charge. Unfortunately, this has affected my perception of Planet Fitness. Avoid this place as much as you can.

They camp out in broken down cars in the parking lot, set up camp sites in front of the building, and they even get memberships and lounge around in the building ALL DAY!!! I used to love going to this gym, but then continuous episodes of cars being broken into occurred and myself and others from our team stopped going. 2-3 individuals from our team had their car windows busted and items stolen from their vehicles. We tried parking under the lights, but it didn't work. I was blessed enough to not have experienced it and I'm all the grateful for that. Who wants sky rocketing insurance premiums as a result of the increased crime rates?! Not me.

Where do I start…? I switched to this gym because it was closer to my house and I thought it would be better than my previous location. Now I’m asking myself why did I leave the better of the two??? I scheduled a training session with a personal trainer on the app for 8:00am. Mind you I have a one year old and my husband had to work early but this was the only time available for scheduling with a trainer so I hire a sitter. We’re up at 6:00am and I make it to the gym only to be told,”Oh, I apologize, we don’t have a trainer at this location. The app should not have allowed you to schedule a session”. Ok but the point is it did and I’m here and paid a sitter to be here so where does this leave us? I get a call from the manager after filing a complaint to tell me that they have been trying to hire a trainer but unfortunately there is still not a trainer at the location. I asked since I paid a sitter for this could my monthly fee be waived for next month. Guess what? No accommodation for their mistake. I’m buying out of my contract early and going to a gym that appreciates me as a customer!!

To the owner: the way you live is a reflection of your mind. If your store looks this terrible, what does that say about you? If you cannot take care of the small things, you won't appreciate the big things. That being said:

I'm pretty sure this location was once a lunatic asylum for children. I say that because it's so old and beat up. The showers go from normal temp to skin peeling hot because of a toilet flush. The toilets are so close to the showers that the smell of ones poor dietary habits grace your nose as it aggressively overpowers your shampoo scent. It's truly unpleasant. Everything else is normal for PF though! Do better owner. It's no wonder the employees forsee corporate taking this location over.

I am a Black Card member at this gym and have been for quite a while. I was waiting on my 9yr old sons father to pick him up. He had a emergency because of his bladder condition in which she refused to let him used the restroom. I then took him to his father but he ended up having a incident in the car. Had the worse time attempting to get a membership! Use to be a member of this gym but it doesn’t look like they are willing to upkeep their gym. The attendant Hazle also wasted my time and doesn’t know how to conduct customer service. All I wanted her to do is say I’m sorry and she just stood quiet when I confronted her. Hopes she learns that sometime all you have to say “I’m sorry” and ofcourse keep it moving.

I enjoy coming to this location at night. The staff is friendly and the environment is great. Less people working out at night because it can get busy in the morning and afternoons. The showers are good and hot, but the changing room has shower curtains instead of doors which I don’t like because of privacy. This gym is friendlier than the other ones I’ve been too. I’m still exploring other locations though. This location is a little sketchy outside but inside it’s cool.

I used to love coming to this gym 5 years. I never in my life seen 1 staff members so disrespectful to kids, adults in my life. This overnight staff worker female treated the kids so wrongful. She laugh about it when they leave. Don't let ppl in the gym and they have a black card. Told them that you can only come to this location 10 times after that wait 90 days. Thats crazy. Really needs to give the locker room/ restroom regular attention. I loved the hydro massage bed and tanning bed. I was looking to pale. My favorite is the yellow section of 30-minute weight machine's located at the back wall. The Men's locker room was clean and they provided soap in the shower. Great new gym for me and it's close to my house.

Staff are excellent at gym, great place to work out. I do not recommend going unless you can have someone stand outside and watch your car, walk to gym, or catch a ride to gym. There has been a rash of vehicle break -inns in the AM hours at this gym. When dealing with management; you are told it's not their parking lot. No security staff has been hired, no additional lights, no extra cameras. I have sent an email to regional manager still no response. If this were an isolated incident I could understand. There have been too many break -inns to count. So, if you walk to gym, can have someone stand guard and watch your vehicle, or get dropped off at gym then this is an excellent gym to attend.

This place is very different from other PFs I've visited. There's hardly any staff (usually 3) and they all sit behind the counter, I've never been here and seen any of them cleaning anything. Youll see people use equipment, get sweat all over it, and not clean it and its gross. The place is dirty, and the showers are disgusting. My favorite are their hydro massage beds, they only have 2 and one has been broken for months. The one that's still working is almost always booked. Do yourself a favor and go to the Cedar Hill location instead.

The gym is fine. It’s got all you need. The issues I encounter are that there is no one in forcing rules. Every morning at 5am this a a group of 8-10 people with a trainer taking up entire sections with no regard for other members who want to use that equipment.
It’s ridiculous that I have to dictate my workouts on their schedule.
