Went here at 230 before school pickup for a quick 30 minute workout. Everything worked.
Came back at 6pm. Spent 20 minutes trying to gain access. The lazy worker at the front desk refused to scan me in. Seriously. I couldn’t get the app to work, and she wouldn’t allow me to access the club, even though I had my membership agreement, my name, and my phone number. All she had to do was enter that information into her computer, but she wanted to be nasty and play power struggle games at a gym where people go for a no judgment zone. She was so nasty to deal with and should be fired for refusing to allow people to access the memberships they pay for.

Never had an issue at the other locations. This nasty girl has quite the attitude

The club was a great experience but when I tried to end my membership that expires this month I still had to pay a cancelation fee. Even though I got emails saying it expires in October apparently it was in July. Why send reminders 2 months after the suppose annual date. Had to pay 60 dollars for it.

I wanted to share some positive feedback about the PFT at the Forest Greenville location and commend their professionalism. On the evening of August 25th, while working out, I witnessed a potentially chaotic situation involving a homeless individual outside the building who broke a window. What could have escalated quickly was handled with complete control by the staff.

As a security professional, it’s always encouraging to see a team working together seamlessly to protect the business and its patrons. The manager and team on duty that night were truly A1—professional, composed, and effective!

The Planet Fitness locations near Oak Lawn are horrible! Nothing works, the area is frightening, and no lay down tanning bed that works, however, this location at Greenville is so great! The staff is friendly and most important to me, everything is in working order, it's in a safe area and they have both a lay down AND stand up tanning bed.

Terrible customer service. My old gym got merged with Planet fitness and so my information is not linked yet due to transferring from my old gym records. I kept explaining but all I hear from the staff is it doesn’t work like that. I had no problem with other planet fitness to search my account with my number. But the staff here will not do it saying it doesn’t work like that. So how did other planet fitness gyms that are not my home gym find my account then? This gym used to have good staffs, now I’m not so sure.

I like EVERYTHING about PF - except someone keeps stealing 8# dumbbells 🙄 Seriously, I wish I’d joined years ago. I’ve spent much more money at “fancier” gyms and never felt like here. Dulce went above and beyond on my visit by explaining the Agreement and benefits that Planet fitness has to offer. She took her time and answered all of my questions. She even translated everything to my family member who also was in to get a membership. She made our visit a memorable one. Very polite and dedicated employee. I'm making this review because there is an employee name Jonathan that work there and revealed a lot of information to some of the customers that goes to this gym about things that goes around here.

Let’s start with the General Manager Jason, Jonathan told me that Jason got a crush on 4 customers that comes there and that Jason tend to watch them when they show up at the gym. Jason told Jonathan that his type tend to be light skinned Latina girls because they look similar to white girls. One of the girls that Jason tend to pay attention every time she comes in is Jimena Luna, Jonathan said that when she comes Jason act like, “hey, look she is here.” And that sometimes he tend to check her out. The other thing Jonathan said is that Jason tend to be lazy at work and doesn’t like to clean and the other employees have to do most of the work because he tend to be lazy.

Now it is about the Assistant manager. Jonathan said that he got a beef with one of the other employees, which is an old guy who is disable from one of his legs. One of the argument that Jonathan told me about was the time that the assistant manager girlfriend came to the gym and while she was waiting for her boyfriend. The old guy was having a polite conversation with her. Then the assistant manager got upset about him talking to his girlfriend and that they went and had an argument and the argument went like this.
Assistant Manager: “Why do you talk to my girlfriend and don’t talk to me at all.”
Old Employee: “I’m just having a normal conversation, why are you being insecure about it?”
Assistant Manager: “why would I be insecure about it?”
Old Employee: “You are acting insecure because I’m talking to her.”
Assistant Manager: “Why would I be insecure when I’m not an old guy and got two good walking legs.”
Jonathan also added that Jason was there and didn’t do anything about it and just ignored the problem. I think it was unprofessional for Jason not to do anything when the argument escalated to that point.

One thing that Jonathan mentioned was that he could had been an assistant manager, only reason that he didn’t became one was because Jason told him that he left and came back later on, so he had no choice as to make the other guy an assistant manager as he preferred Jonathan for that role, but didn’t want to look like he was showing favoritism towards him. Also, he said that there was a girl who used to work there and that everyone wanted her to quit because she was using the excuse about her fracture leg to do nothing and that he was glad that she left because he had been wanting to take that overnight shift for so long and that when she left, he took over that shift.

Also, I would like to add that even thought Jonathan does complain about some of the employees. He tend to break the rules at the gym. He had revealed personal information to some people about previous customers. Someone of those reasons are like why some people got their account revoked as the reasons could either be acting crazy, not paying the subscription on time, or him not liking some of the customers and deleting his/her account as the company give them that much power, etc. Other stuff he had done is providing customers phone numbers to other people and that's if he likes the person that asked for it. The other thing he had done is show favoritism to some customers like providing them with free beverage with either water, protein drinks, energy drinks, etc.

There is more information that Jonathan had told customers about it, but this is pretty much a summary of it. Also, don’t ask me to give a review through the planet fitness app as Jonathan had showed me that those aren’t anonymous and I don’t want to be targeted after revealing all this information.

He is professional and makes my workouts fun. I have been coming here for several years. They know how to gage workouts for my age and level of physical fitness.

Love this place. I am a disabled physician and get such outstanding support with my service dog. (Seizure alert). They even stopped a man from yelling at me saying I was not really disabled. I thought he might assault me.

It wasn't crowded inside. I like the treadmills. Showers and the lockers were okay. But the room with the hydro massage recliners, that's an experience everyone should try. Get a free pass and see if you can try that out. That's a game changer regarding an incredible experience after your workout

I wish I could give this Planet Fitness zero stars. I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes during business hours, and guess what? No one ever answered the phone. How do you run a business and not pick up the phone for your paying members? Absolutely ridiculous.

On top of that, their website says this location is 24 hours—LIES. I drove 30 minutes out of my way after work, expecting to get a workout in, only to pull up and find the doors locked. If you’re not actually open 24/7, update your information so people don’t waste their time.

Terrible communication, false advertising, and clearly no regard for their members’ time. Do better, Planet Fitness.

I really like this Planet Fitness. I've had memberships at LA Fitness (on Skillman), 24-hour Fitness (on Belt Line) and a small gym in Addison Circle. I like this gym better than those others. It's a large gym and there are tons of machines. If you need a specific machine, you usually have no wait or a short wait. The locker rooms are clean with lots of lockers. The showers always work and they have really good water pressure with lots of hot water. The employees are nice and remember me, even if I skip a few months. They are kind and helpful. Another thing I like is that the TVs are all set to lots of different channels, so you're not stuck watching Fox News the whole time you're on the treadmill. It's just a nice clean chill gym.

I want to rate this gym higher because I overall do like coming here during the slow hours. However, the staff consistently skips my songs on Rockbot for some reason, which is really frustrating.

Additionally, this location has machines that have been out of order for months at time. It's understandable that stuff will break but it shouldn't take 4+ months to fix a single leg extension machine.

The facility is consistently clean, and the staff are friendly.

Love the location. I come in the morning don’t really like to come when the young man with the doorag and headphones on… he’s always M.I.A!! Not open 24hrs the hrs on google are wrong I found out this the hard way. I don’t recommend going between 5-10 it’s too crowded and not enough equipment. Literally waited 30 minutes to do barbell bench press because they only have 3 seats available and it’s over 60 people in the gym. If you have no other choice yea go here if not I wouldn’t.

I signed up in mid march for a membership, went wide to work out and realized it was not going to work with my work schedule. I’m honestly very disappointed in this planet fitness. I went in to freeze my account back in November because I got into a car wreck. I wasn’t able to go to the gym. I wanted to freeze it until August when I was told that I was going to be able to get a car by my attorney. When I went in the young man and I have no idea what he was doing and so he had to call his manager. The manager was over the phone the whole time and they both kept telling me OK that’s fine we could do that for you no problem. So far they have continuously charge my account when I signed that I did not want to get charged anymore. I will be canceling the miscommunication is annoying and unprofessional.
