Iโve been in dollar generals bigger than this gym. Super small. Over crowded at all times. Only 2 cables. Have fun waiting. Came down here for the summer was hopping to not have to find another gym. Membership cancelled. Also went to the restroom while I was there. Urinal the as soaked and a puddle under it and there was a 5 inch pubic hair.

The cashiers are so well groomed and sweet and helpful. I love how clean this place is. Itโs smaller than most Planet fitnessโs but not such a big deal. The workers were oftenly cleaning and organizing things. Definitely returning thank you! ๐

I donโt live in del Rio and I tried to cancel my membership over the phone and they wonโt let me saying it has to be in person or I have to mail a letter. They will not let you even email. They charged me a late fee of $10 on top of the $10 for membership. The employee who helped me over the phone was very helpful but planet fitness as whole is ridiculous and a scam. I will never use them again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.
Update: I have spoken to management and my request was still denied. Another $42 was just taken from my account. This signature policy is pretty ridiculous. A bank or an actual company that requires personal information does not do this. If I had been told this information in the beginning I wouldnโt have signed up.

Great place. Equipment is always clean and working correctly. Vast and variety of machines. The staff is friendly and greets you upon entering the building ,even if their busy. Staff is diligently doing rounds to keep the facility clean even at peak times.

The showers are a little dated and the handicap shower head needs to replacing. This day I heard that the water fountain was not working and had not been for at least a day. Other than that, hot shower. We are in the area for about a week, camping and hiking.

Unfortunately I could never use the app to sign in. Only one employee gave me issues every visit.
She always made me try to use the app knowing it was not working.
Other employees just use my phone ๐ฑ number to sign me in well not her she needs the app.
Well today she won ๐ฅ Iโm done with the app, with that employee who had nothing better to do.
What a waist of time as we remove our memberships she offers a card I had always asked for but she said they no longer permitted.

The ladies at the front desk are always smiling and friendly and theyโre always working hard cleaning, which makes for a pleasant atmosphere. The gym is extremely crowded at night, but other than that itโs a great place to work out.

Great morning staff see them everyday Monday-friday and occasionally on a Saturday. They always greet me with a good morning and caring wish me a great workout and good day. Love them so much like a family! Restrooms and gym machines are always clean and cared for. You see the staff walk around dusting and checking the cleaning stations too. Great atmosphere overall.

This is for the Del Rio, TX location only. The gym is always clean and staff friendly. The members for the most part are friendly and courteous about time on each machine, however, there will be the random Gen whatever who sits on the machine for 45 minutes playing on their phone instead of using the machine. Irritating when it is busy. Good thing most of the time you can find times that are not very busy so it makes it easy to work out. A big plus is that when I bring my elderly mother, there is a large handicap-accessible bathroom and shower for use. There always seems to be an available massage bed or chair.

The gym is decent, but the company overall has too many silly rules for a gym environment. Rules such as no gym bags allowed on the floor to grunt meter lights in case you make a little noise from lifting and watered down cleaning solutions for equipment. The heaviest dumbbells weight at the Del Rio location is 75lbs, and the several times I visited, there was no music, just in case you didn't have your own. They don't have freeweight benches or incline benches either. For a gym, the environment is too melancholy compared to LA Fitness, Fitness Connection, and Gold's Gym, to name a few. Overall, this gym sufficed under my circumstances.
But I have a suggestion for all gym patrons at any gym, you're in the gym to lift weights, train, etc. and Not there to hold-up machines while you're texting, going live on tik tok, taking selfies, video taping yourself and other dumb behavior!! Either lift, train or stay at home and out of the way, Thanks.

Decent place. Men's room smells like a locker room and I don't think the water filters have been replaced in awhile for the fountains... Other than that, it's okay.

Honestly I was disappointed...I'm deployed right now with my team and wanted a place to just keep my fitness up...I explained I would only be there for 30 days..the front desk wanted me to pay 59.00 to register to pay 10.00 a month...so 69.00. I asked if there was a day pass and the answer was no I was offered to pay again 59.00 to register and then 25.00 for one week. So I declined. Found an old school gym just a couple miles down the road who supports military and law enforcement and was gonna just let me and my guys come for free but that was never what we wanted either so we got the whole month for 25.00. I'll never go to another planet fitness again.
For the planet fitness owner that responded by say get with our management team...sir or mam your management team was the one we were talking too.

Size is the prise, swoll is the goal. Look I get it other gyms have more weights, less restrictions etc... But as a black status member I can bring friends for free, tan, buy water or protein drinks to earn points. The staff is absolutely amazing and there is plenty of parking available. The restrooms are very clean. Note to corporate: stop saying it's a judgement free zone when you clearly place a huge discrimiatory lunk sign up it's hypocritical.

I appreciate the vaulted ceilings. They help me not feel as claustrophobic. Padded flooring really does wonders for people with heel spurs & knee injuries! I am so thankful for the friendly staff that maintains order & cleanliness. This location is limited in space & some machines, but overall I am happy with my experience at the Del Rio,TX Planet Fitness location. Thank y'all! :)

Due to a summer promotion (2022), teenagers get in free. At certain times of the day, the Planet Fitness turns into a high school hang out spot. Just today, I waited 30mins for a machine to free up because a cluster of young adults were socializing around it. I spoke with the staff and they were very hesitant to address the issue. I left the building having never used the machine and the staff never addressing the issue.

Good Gym based on the staff and cleanliness, but I get really frustrated with having access to the equipment. There are a lot of members and they only have three benches and one set of cables . Now there is only two benches as one is inoperable for a week now. They need to upgrade the gym to accommodate the amount of guest. The staff is the reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars they are awesome!!

Excellent staff. Always greeted with a warm welcome. Originally joined when they first opened and man was the place packed around 4-5pm. Seems like the novelty has worn off as it isn't as busy around that time frame anymore which is a bonus for me because that means more open machines. Opt for the black card as this will give you the most benefits to include the massage and tan booths. Very clean facility.

The staff at this planet fitness are pretty good just a bit annoying sometimes like if you walk in and walk out. Thatโs alright and manageable the people here are mostly normal like most gyms however some are very rude like will take your weight for their workout. Never had a problem with planet fitness but this is the closest I have seen the stereotypes about this gym being true. Itโs a small town and you either go here or the air force base so for what it is itโs ok
