I use rockbot when I go to the gym and i rarely take my headphones, every time I get there pop music is full blast whenever I request diferent music they turn the volume all the way down. It's very disrespectful that plant fitness sponsors an app for us to use and staff members decide they don't like the music and turn down the volume as soon as they hear e music they don't like. This is not the first time it happens this is why I'm giving this 1 star review.

Terrible customer service. The petite feminine like white bald manager thinks he runs the place, gave me attitude just cause I asked staff to manually check me in a couple of days in a row due to unforeseen personal circumstances. Acted like it wasn’t part of their job, confronted him by pulling up a planet fitness front desk application and showed him where under job duties it clearly states check in staff, man continues to say it varies by location 🤣 Decided to leave the gym , then as I backed out of a handicapped parking space with my clear handicap blue placard hanging on my rear view mirror, tell me why this man goes on to the window with his nose practically touching it and watches me leave, truly a maniac. So now you wanna be a police? 👮 Doing the most BUT what your job description states 🤣🤣🤣

Management, apply the “no conversations on the floor” rule to people just sitting and talking around a machine, texting, or checking social media before giving me a lecture for taking a 10 second call between my 40 second rest time that was clearly indicated on the timer of the machine I was using. Filling up the spray bottles, paper towel dispensers, and taking out the overflowing trash on the weekends would be a more productive use of your time.

Unfortunately not a 5 star loacation to me. I’m a truck driver and parking was awesome, big parking lot and they weren’t uptight about the parking situation. Showers weren’t hot, water fountain not cold, one sink out of three in the men’s locker room worked and it barely worked, only one of every machine so going there at the most popular time of day which unfortunately I did is tough to find open equipment, they also didn’t have the couple new machine additions that basically every other location in the country has. It got the job done and not the worst but definitely just an average location

Been loving PF since day one! Was skeptical about joining a gym TBH - had been training at home (2 years) with enough equipment that I had invested in. But life happens and was not going to be able to train in the comfort of my own home. So decided to join PF because of the location, being just down the street from my shop. Best decision! This gym has everything I need to reach my training goals!

First and foremost, I would like to start off by saying that I am not a fitness enthusiast or even less a fitness expert. However, I do go to this gym at least three times a week. Nowadays I go to the gym for health reasons. Eagle Pass Texas is a small town, so it is easy to pinpoint all the major gyms in the area. There are plenty of people who have compared all the gyms to Planet Fitness. Besides Planet Fitness, there are two other major gyms that stand out here in this town. I will not be mentioning their names because I believe that this establishment deserves a fair and impartial review of what this gym offers.

The first thing that I have noticed is that as soon as you walk in, it smells very clean, and it even feels clean. There are plenty of sanitizing stations all over the floor, and the bathrooms are exceptionally clean. The times that I do go I noticed that they are always sanitizing the showers which is a big plus because I take full advantage of the showers every time that I go so I feel safe in knowing that the showers are kept nice and clean. There is always a staff cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming the gym at all times. The floors are always clean, the equipment is always being dusted, and the mirrors are always being cleaned as well. That alone speaks volumes on the pride that the management has in keeping this establishment the way it is. I did take pictures of the restroom, but out of respect, I chose not to post them as there is a clear sign saying the cellphones are prohibited in there.

When it comes to service, it is also of top quality. The staff are very helpful and are very friendly as well. Memberships are easily explained, and the staff are very patient in explaining everything to you. I actually had an incident not too long ago. It involved something with the showers, and I wrote a complaint to management, and management immediately solved the issue. I am very thankful for the person running the place because it shows that they care about their customers.

Let's talk about the machines. There are plenty of treadmills and ellipticals and free weights for everyone. You can go to the front desk and ask for a mat as well. One thing that it does lack and it might be a turnoff to some of the more advanced users is the lack of more strength training machines. There is a total of four squat racks and only a handful of leg strengthening exercises. If you are absolutely serious about building strength, then this gym is probably not for you as this gym has a more balanced approach to exercising. There is enough to do your workouts but do expect that you will have to form a line for the more popular machines as the gym gets full and there are times where there are not enough machines to go around. Especially during peak hours, which is usually around 7:00pm and forward, you will expect a large amount of people in there. To experience the gym to its fullest, I personally suggest going on as early as you possibly can. That way you can have access to the machines whenever you need to. During peak hours, sometimes even the 30-minute section is crowded as well. They do offer the Planet Fitness black card membership, which basically just adds the spa amenities for an extra premium. I personally have used the black card on many occasions, especially when I bring my wife to go work out with me. I think that alone is well worth the price that they offer. Keep in mind that there is an annual fee, and the fee did get raised the last time that I checked. However, if you take into consideration the yearly cost of a gym membership, it is still a fraction of the cost even with the black card.
If you're just starting to work out or you're just a regular person who does regular workouts, this gym is not bad at all. It's great even. I know there is a lot of hate towards these types of commercial gyms, but quite honestly, these are the gyms that help people get out of bed and go work out. The prices are very accessible, the gym is clean, and it serves its purpose. What more can I say? thank you.

I love this place for a workout. They are clean and have everything you need for your workout even some awesome extras if you upgrade your membership. The staff is awesome, helpful and hard working.
However, it has become extremely busy over the past couple months which is good for them but this place just cannot accommodate this amount of people comfortabley. I understand they have a crowd meter but ive come at different times and have had to leave because I cant get an open machine. I've watched people waiting to get on machines or use free weight area. I am happy the business is flourishing and more people are exercising. I am Just frustrated with the inability to get to the machines I'd like to use. Then you add on the people who want to sit on their phone at a machine or sit at a machine just to chat with a friend it gets frustrating. That aside yall get 5⭐️
