Excellent place to exercise. I love to see that people here are to improve their health not like other gyms that are more inclined to go and show off their body. The personal trainer sessions are included. Trainer's service need to be promoted by all staff and the best time is doing it while checking in. Also there needs to be some music that stimulates your brain to help with work ups. The lights are too bright. The application needs to be in Spanish as well. Great trainer here.

One of the best gyms in town. Super clean, machines are always available and working. Couple months ago a lot of stuff was down and broken but it recently took a 180 with everything. The cleaning lady is super sweet and works very had to keep the place spotless and smelling good. And the front desk staff are also amazing courteous and very attentive. I’d like to give special attention to a girl named Priscilla…absolute sweetheart and knows her stuff. Didn’t see her stop one second and constantly kept checking in on members and cleaning up. This location definitely had an upgrade with her as an employee! 5 stars all around! Will be back and recommend to everyone.

Gotta say I liked coming to this planet because there isn’t that many people here so that means no crowded machines or benches. But now I’m starting to see why. Everything is always so inconvenient. Like machines broken down, worn down equipment that doesn’t seem to get any maintenance, and one thing that’s really annoying is having to walk to the other end of the gym just to find a paper towel dispenser that actually has paper in it to clean your station on the other side of the gym just because all other dispenser never have paper towels in em, what’s worse is none of the staff seem to care. Anyway I’m considering switching my membership to a different planet, or different gym altogether

This PF sucks! The workers are always on their phones up front, the place is dirty and the cleaning stations ALWAYS out of supplies! Broken machines for weeks and no one to complain to because they don’t do anything about it. I’ve called the CS line and no one follows up. But they are quick to bill you for services that can’t even be provided how they should. I just come here because it works for me in the AM but I always get pissed before starting my WO because of all of the above!!!!

Whyyyyyyy is there only one changing room and the changing room doesn’t have a door or curtain??? So it’s just open for anyone to see a person getting dressed… even a male worker that has to come in. That’s an easy fix, get a rod and a curtain at least!!!

I do appreciate that the bathroom was clean, but that’s because someone was in there cleaning at the time… please have your people clean overnight so we aren’t in each other’s way.
I did love the layout of the bathroom as a whole.

Been a member since 2017. There"s a different gym closer to my home so Went to cancel my membership at the Joe Battle location. Walked in & there were NO customers at the desk. The "MANGER " Roberto assisted me. I told him I needed to cancel my membership. He told me to have a seat. I waited for a while while he talked & Laughed with co workers...I finally got up & asked " what am I waiting for...I just need to cancel" a girl at the counter apologized and asisted me. They only get one star because they will not allow me to assign zero. I am here to cancel my membership because I moved out of town. I was told that I could not cancel over the phone (this is not true you can cancel by letter) and I would have to come in in person. I’ve never been to a planet fitness that rings their siren before closing and this location will do it every 5 minutes after the 30 minutes till close. I don’t understand the purpose of that if we all are aware they will be closing soon. It interrupts workouts when they should be throwing out overflowing trash cans and actually do their jobs instead of trying to get people out before it’s even time. Honestly this was a good entry level gym but now they are goin up on prices and their blck membership price is outrageous for what you get compared to all the new gyms opening like crunch, chuze at the same prices but include tanning, sauna, group classes, kids day care, better and more variety on equipment. PF equipment is extremely basic, and the machines are always broken and take weeks to get fixed, dnt have hip thrusters, are not event open 24/7 all week just a few days. The trainer at this location jose extremely lazy, esch and every single time i had asked for a new routine he makes me come back multiple time for it because he never has it ready and always gives me a sad excuse. i used the hydromassage a couole days ago and it was all torn. I will post pictures of how long it takes for the machines to get fixed :) but they are great and very punctual to charge their latest fees and make it difficult to cancel.

The people were great, but many of the machines were out of order. The red light booth barely shook at all, and the fan didn’t work properly. The equipment is not very organized. The machines were all over the facility instead of grouped together. The black card loungers were the basic loungers and not the high-tech loungers at other planet fitness facilities. I will stick to the facility located at Montwood and George Dieter.

When I joined they told me the 30 minute circuit was for people who are doing the circuit. They have a sign saying it is monitored by staff. It is NOT.

Angelica definitely does not care about anything other than collecting her paycheck. When I reported that every other person in the area was staying on the machine for extended periods of time she stared at me like I was speaking Swahili.

I’ve seen her lackadaisical attitude everytime I have been there.

I tried to talk with a manager and none is available until Monday morning. (This is Friday morning)

If you want to go to a place where the staff hangs out behind the counter while the gym is full - then I highly recommend this place.

If you want to go to a place where the staff cares about the experiences of the new people. Avoid this place at all costs.

The staff is really rude. I come in very regularly to take advantage of the tanning beds and massage chairs/bed. Not all of the staff members are rude, but the ones that are ruin it for the rest. I came in and scanned my card for a tanning bed. There was initially nobody behind the counter so I waited (I'm a pretty patient person). A young lady walked up to the counter, walked past me, got on her phone and started helping other guests check in. I did not want to interrupt because I'm sure she was SUPER busy. She saw that I was waiting because we made eye contact. 2 more people came behind me to get massage chairs. She INSTANTLY got off her phone and handed them the tokens for the chair. Not once did she ask what I was waiting on or if I needed help. I scoffed and then scanned my card again trying to give her the benefit of the doubt because maybe I just didn't click confirm. That wasn't the case the computer prompted me that I had already scheduled a tanning session for that day. I don't know if it was because I was in uniform (maybe she has had bad experiences with the military) or a race or a gender thing. Whatever it was, I found it to be unacceptable and rude.

This location does not enforce gym etiquette. Here you will have one person using two machines and two sets of dumbbells at one times. Due to the free membership for High School kids during the summer, you will have 5 kids hovering over one machine just talking for an hour. However, if you place a plate down to loud the staff rings the lunk alarm. This is my first planet fitness membership so I do not know if all locations are as horrible as this one. Lastly, can the front desk personnel smile at least once, they all look like they hate their job. As a gym rat I suggest going to a real gym.

Need to exercise, this is the place to be. Great atmosphere, lots of cardio machines from rowing, biking, running, elliptical, stair climber, and more. Free weights, machines, they have it all. They have drinks available to purchase if you forget your water or need something more.

It gets super busy from around 4:00 pm to about 7:00 pm on weekdays but that is to be expected. There is plenty of parking and the membership price is ridiculously low.

Great place to start the journey towards a better you and a healthier you. Recommended.

Trash customer service. I made the unfortunate mistake as putting this place as my home gym so having to cancel has been a huge hassle. Signing up for a membership is real easy but they do everything to try and continue charging. They make you jump through every hoop imaginable, as well as wanting you to pay for an additional month even though the contract ended at the beginning of the month. Planet fitness Headquarters customer service even admitted the customer representatives at this facility were giving false information. They reached out to the manager Xavier who ended up being just a useless as the front desk employees. Who also did offer any apologies for his poor employee performance and just repeated what I was previously told. Do not get a planet fitness membership! Customer service sucks and the gym is alway dirty and everything's old.

I signed my daughter up for a membership and was told by the then (assistant manager) that if we needed to cancel due to the fact that my job moves me around they would be more than happy to do so for me over the phone. Long story short I got moved out of town and I’m trying to cancel but a young lady named Joselyn who was extremely rude over the phone and refused to give me the names of the manager or owner (basically anyone over her) told me I have no option for canceling other than to plan a trip back to Ep just for that of to go through the mail and attempt to cancel that way. This is the opposite of what I was told. When I let her know that I felt misled she just stated you signed a contract. I’m at the point where I may file a lawsuit for deceptive and fraudulent business practices. Be careful before you give these people your money.

Not overly packed. I was able to go during a "rush" hour timeframe and still was able to immediately jump on my stationary bike. Then immediately hit the weights without any waiting. Are they ever gonna go back to 24/7 or 24/5? I'm a truck driver and my workouts usually happen between midnight and 6 am. Majority of the other facilities across the country have those hours.
