The place is horrible. Unless you go at night or avoid they're remodels rude members and staff. You can't get a good a work out in. And there's no use of addressing issues they just blow you off. Equipment always breaking because people use equipment wrong, but the employees are quick to let you know you you can't have a gym bag on gym floor. It got as far as me getting regional managers phone number and still got treated like a fool. For any person with a fitness goal you will not find it here.

I called my planet fitness,on north Zaragoza, to update my email account. I had to wait a while and was able to reach an employee named Daniel. He was extremely helpful and went above what was needed to ensure that I got this done. I haven't even been back to the gym until now.

This is a smaller location, the stretching area is small, and there is only 1 floor mat, the black card benefits have less available so if you come when it's busy, you may have to wait in line. Staff are friendly. Equipment is mostly maintained, only 2 machines were down that I noticed.

This new CEO doesn't offer a cash option. I use ro have the 199.00 for 18 months, then this past year I had the 99.00 membership which was very convenient for me. Now, with all these options of clubs in town matching our cash options for up to two years I would think if they wanted members to stay they would offer it too keep members at there facility. I would hope they would offer at least one of those plans, and that would be convenient for a lot of people. In closing there is lots of competition in the club ( gym industries) I would think they would want to bring more people in or at least keep the ones they have.

This location has a physical trainer who perhaps I am giving too much credit via the title…this employee, Eddie, has absolutely no training in knowing how to approach a customer who has concerns about a prior physical injury and THEN will expect you to accomplish what others can physical do. He is not an expert, do not trust him. Unfortunately that’s not the worst. His method of motivation can be quoted in what he said today “Why are you here, you never come?” This gym or company Planet Fitness prides itself in a “no judgment zone”. Yet employs people who do the opposite. I believe Eddie needs more training with their motto.

It is a good planet better than others but in general planet fitness does not have a time limit usage for machine’s.Not even machines when there is only one type of that machine. Have try many different locations since I have the black card and in the 3 of them I have been people are not respectful of others time. They will be on a machine like 20 minutes and this is because they are using their cellphone not because they are doing their routine.
I have encounter even people being in a machine 30 minutes and when asked they say they just barely got it lol. I go at 6 7 am it is not super pack but still encountered this a lot.
Will recommend only to pay normal membership and be there 3 months and change after if you really want to keep exercising. If you just want to do cardio a bit of other machines then you will be ok, and if you don’t mind not using a machine most of the time because of the issue of people being on their cellphones. If you are like me and go to gym to exercise and not use your phone because you are really into your routine, then,as I have experience planet is a good place to start your journey but change to a better gym where people do go exercise and are respectful of other time etc(many people also don’t clean after they use the equipment or put in place the weights).
Also, other aspect is that equipment is always out of order and sometimes it takes them a month to fix the equipment.

Updated after owner answer. I had talk up to staff but they do nothing that there are no rules for cellphone usage and time limit. To be honest, they seem that they don’t want to be there. And lately when I arrive like at 6, 6:30 am there is no one there on front so no check in so I guess anyone even without a membership Can get in

I went to sign up at this gym, and the tanning beds are absolutely horrible and dangerous. They shut down all the way completely touching your body. I am small and anyone bigger than me would’ve been crushed in there. I was crushed in there I couldn’t even stand there they make enough money they need to upgrade those tanning beds. While I had been skeptical of this place for years, thinking that it wasn’t a “real” gym, I must admit, it literally had everything a person would need to get fit… including a respectable amount of free weights, a large assortment of machines, and cardio equipment to meet pretty much anyone’s needs. The only drawback that I have seen is the absence of an actual bench press or incline press, but if you are willing to accommodate by using a Smith Machine, then I would highly recommend this establishment.

The gym itself is fine and the employees are nice. The biggest negative about this place is that every summer it packs full of kids. The place fills up with Edgars running around and breaking equipment, taking up space in front of machines. I know PF isn’t really a serious gym, but I’m not paying for a youth center membership. I don’t understand how corporates business model includes letting kids wreak havoc for months while paying customers have to work around the mess.

I workout early mornings and the staff is amazing I think their names are victor and Stephen and they are always smiling and greeting my daughter and I very happily, some times they are even doin goofy dances to the music which you don’t see energetic employees nowadays specially at 5am, the gym is always clean and if something is missing the staff get to it immediately without a hesitation, great place to workout and know it’s being taken care of

I like the equipment however they updated the gym and there’s only ONE mat for the entire gym for only 2 people to use: there used to be a few but it’s only one and super inconvenient. ESP when people are doing multiple sets at one time. They definitely need more mats. There are no more yoga balls either. So if you’re into those things, go to another gym.

Second visit in the week and parts of the gym are closed off which sucks for those who are consistent with working out. I walked in and walked right out and changed my home gym. Cancelled my membership and went with another gym all around. Sucks because I never had this issue in other states as I’ve been with them 3 years

This rating is for Zaragoza, the staff is not friendly, entering or existing they never say hello or thank you. All they do is use their phones, joke around. Planet Fitness has it all all the equipment and individual needs to make a sculpture of its own body the memberships changes the prices according to the months but they are always affordable there's always good prices to join my advice will be the black card which has all access access to the hydro bed access to the tanning access to everything there is so much equipment that I have never gone through all the equipment myself what I love also is that with the membership the black card is the one that I experience you can go to oh it's locations all over the United States and wherever Planet Fitness it's located that is something very cool something to look forward there is also trainers they have showers lockers each location has different infrastructure however they carry the same franchise which is amazing wait no longer and get yourself a membership for Planet Fitness you will not regret

Very bad experience and bad customer service. I signed up for the blackcard membership during a trial since I was told I could bring my daughter as a guest every time we want to workout together. However, when she joined me the day after, they told her she couldn’t use amenities as a guest. The reason we got a membership at planet fitness (which is way further away from my house than other gyms), was so we could workout together and use the amenities after that. I filed an online complaint and send a message that I wanted to rescind the contract on grounds of misinformation (with proof of receipt) and they never responded. I was supposed to get contacted by the manager, but he never did. They did, however, try to withdraw membership fees from my account, plus the upcoming annual fees and on top of that they are even charging $58.00 Dollars for terminating the agreement early. This is straight up ridiculous!

Been a member here for about 3 years. I workout in the morning and love the atmosphere. Staff is real helpful and friendly. Danny is there in the morning and greets everyone! My only complaint is that when they send out the pads for the machines, they take too long to return. The hammer strength back machine has been down for about 3 weeks. I didn't join for a long time because I expected a lot of rude folks. I have been pleasantly surprised by the people that work out there. I usually can get the equipment/weights I want with little or no problems. They do have LOTS of machines and weights, and there is almost always someone cleaning up. Lots of locations that my black card allows me to use. Again, I am pleasantly surprised so far (about 3 months of 3 times a week). The summer free thing for the young folks does get the place kinda crowded at times, but I'm glad to see young folks getting into this stuff - and they are typically very nice.

Been working out at this gym for a year now M-W-F from 3-4. Staff is friendly, place is somewhat clean but it’s been horrible lately with droves of high school kids. I wouldn’t mind so much but these kids show up in groups of 4 or 5 and take up all the equipment. Most of the time they’re not even working out just goofing around. Poor business idea in my opinion as the owners thought it was a good idea to allow free patrons or kids to take over the gym at peak hours over the regular paying customers. I’ll definitely be canceling my membership and would advise anyone reading this review to look elsewhere unless you enjoy wasting your time and waiting for equipment.

Stop using debit or credit card to have a contract with you. If just charging $10 per month accept cash. And you will have returning customers.
