There is no hot water at Montwood so I went to Pebble Hills and no hot water. I went to each location 4 times and neither has hot water. So if the showers are important to you don't join here. This is a breach of contract and I will go back to my old gym where they have hot water. I am a black card member.

I luv this place Great hrs open 5-24 Very Clean 🚻 restrooms their staff very friendly been a member for almost 4 yrs coming this February 2026. Joined when place had just opened. Tommy Car 🚗 Wash was under construction seen many of their associates leave and new one's employed. I'm one of their longest members. And they an excellent Black Card Membership with great perks honored at any Gym within the U.S. sauna message bed and you can invite your BF GF Husband Wife or just a Friend. Plan to upgrade so I use my membership at any state as an over The 🛣️ Road Truck 🚛 Driver and Gym within close proximity to my home about 1.5 MI so I walk their and back hm. The longest associate their is House keeping Isela and I the longest member.

Planet fitness is keeping me from working out .
The long haired gentleman running the front desk (7/10/25) 4:44 pm .. wouldn’t let me in because he said I had khakis. He was not even talking to me or telling what the issue was . Just asking my girl if I’m wearing khakis ? Is he going to use the machines .? Hello I’m right here 👋 Very poor customer service . I wasn’t even wearing khakis tan colored dri fit joggers . This gym is a joke and it’s not just this one . So much for the no judgement zone . Definitely terminating both memberships . Trash

Like the variety of equipment,the staff are friendly cordial and helpful. I highly recommend PF I'm an active member for 18 months now. My review on a scale of 1-10 I give them a (10.5) great place clean bathrooms shower's & locker's fresh A/C. If I didn't like this gym would have left long ago it's going to be my 3rd year coming this Feb 2025. They resently put in new machines I haven't had the opportunity to try,and I also like the open 24 hrs. Im retired so my hrs are flexible. Almost forgot they have 🆓 secure 🔐 Wi-Fi. I think the crew could do a bit more interaction with the Newbies because they look Lost,maybe the Associates will ask these new people,to not feel intimidated by the other's who are more advanced. I started on the Bike's and Treadmill. Now I use Seated Leg Press started at around 80-100 lbs now I maxed at 325 I do 5 reps of 10. Go slow take your time it would raise it by 20 lbs after ea month. You will only get frustrated you struggle and strine may even injure. And be consistent and confident. On Hammer 🔨 Strength I'm to 425 lbs I stared at around 160. On the Hip Adduction maxed out at 250 lbs I'm a senior at 69 so I can do 4 sure you can too even better because I'm old and for us it's always an up hill battle. And I feel it when I miss some day's. So if you an Ole guy working out,and your a lost senior feel free to ask me,and I will be happy to demonstrate how to use it or refer you,I'm not a trainer or expert just a regular customer thier to helping others GBU All George 🐵

I come here every once in a while and boy I love it! I've brought my disabled brother here too and the staff- especially the guys are so accommodating and serviceful as well as patient with us. The guy with the glasses, been there a while, -" thank you man!" Although it pains me to say I am canceling due to better promos and machines at newer gyms, the staff is whats kept me here coming up and staying longer than I should! I love this gym (George Deiter and Montwood), and the staff is always so courteous and helpful.
Leaving this review because the AC has been broken for a long time now. I was told that someone was going to fix it, but it hasn’t happened yet. It’s been over a month now (maybe longer). It makes it miserable to work out and as much as I love the gym, I don’t know if I can continue working out here. It’s summer, really wish it was a bigger priority to upper management than it is :(

Planet fitness has created an environment that has made my fitness journey comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would suggest having the Black card membership so you can do the classes with the trainers. They are extremely helpful. While visiting El Paso for several weeks, my husband and I tried out several PF locations on the East side. Bar none - the PF at Montwood had a better layout of machines, higher quantity of machines available to use, the Total Body Machine’s vibrating floor and lights were stronger on all accounts, and the massage chairs had different options (chair tilts back, hand-arm-calf massages were higher quality) and overall experience was amazing. Lastly, the people were great at every PF, however Alexis at Montwood went above and beyond to help us. We will continue to use this PF exclusively when we return.

This my personal experience yes the place is new but it seems that all the planet fitness are the same no heaters are on i always asked every time i'll go in different gyms and front desk said im sorry the heaters are not working and is freezing in the early morning i cant do exercise when is cold my question is why all the gyms that i have work out i get the same answer so is this is a corporate policy or front desk personal are lazy to turn the heaters on and i see the majority are working out with a hoodie and i work out with 5 tops 3 bottoms is getting very uncomfortable we are in winter early morning sometimes are in below freezing temps and do not answer me yes they are working because i can tell right away when heater are on so for me this company in my opinion get 1 start i dont care how fancy equipment you have for me a gym has to feel like a gym warm and motivate myself of course i love to work out im not like the majority of the people that spend more time in the freaking phones than really working out

This gym in particular has a really great staff, 👍🏾 they are always attentive to any situation or problem. The gym goers not as much. You may have to ask people to move in the 30 minute workout or hunt for weights that have not been re-racked. But it's clean and if there are any issues the staff is helpful and friendly while getting it resolved. Shoutout to the management and great staff 🙌🏾

I'm going with my friend. Everytime she tries to get into one of the scheduled classes PF provide Trainer never show up. 30 mints express sessions, TRX. I saw trainer talking and giggling with other females instead of making sure there's or not people for the programmed session.

Is it just me or is this considered bad customer service: employees sitting on the counters in the front desk, giving their backs towards the members as they're leaving. No smiles, no "have a good day." There's one particular girl there that does this all the time i go there and i mainly go every day, early in the morning. Today some random person changing tv stations with his phone. He says he works there but he has no shirt or uniform. States he has to change them. I’ll return to list specific names, but overall the staff here has given me some of the best moments of interacting with a companies employees I’ve ever had in all my life, and I stand by that.

I’ve had some dark days this year, came in to work out, and simply by their genuineness and authenticity, while saying hello or saying good by as I left, have completely turned my entire day around. Hell, my literal entire week a time or two. Again, I’ll list names shortly here as these people deserve all kinds of raises as they are helping people out here in ways no one could really imagine while doing such a job. Thank you all.

Normally this is my favorite gym to workout but lately it's not to satisfactory. It's berly fall season and in texas that really summer outside the weather is 69° and when you enter the gym can berly fell the ac plus its humidity hot from everyone's sweat. At the gym I frank 4 32oz bottle of water just to fight heat exhaustion and fatigue. And had to got outside twice just to feel fresh air so I wouldn't pass out. If the workers are cold they should bring to work sweaters but not punish the members. I had to stop twice on the treadmill and elliptical because I felt dizzy of the heat. Normally tis is not an issue but recently it has been.

Machines are always closed. The cleaning lady is always acting like she owns the place when you ask her how long will she take to finish so you can use the equipment. Always getting into arguments when we want to use the restrooms. Im 60 years old, I can’t hold it until she is done. Health department will be advised. She blocks off entire sections just so she can finish. It takes 2-3 hours for that section to be opened again. By that time I am already finished working out. Wanna talk to a manager in charge? You will always be in the wrong and have to wait for her to finish. NOWHERE in my contract does it say that we need to wait for the cleaning lady to finish so we can use the equipment much less get yelled at for wanting to use equipment. I am not the first person to report her. DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM!!

Surprisingly great experience. Leading edge exercise equipment, no waiting, clean, never crowded makes for a pleasant trip to the gym. Music is not too loud, multiple TV screens, excellent restrooms and plenty of sanitizer stations throughout the facility. The equipment is safe by design and very high quality. Also, it doesn't smell like a gym! I highly recommend Planet Fitness.
