It’s the newest gym and also the dirtiest. It makes no sense. The floor is always covered in dust, with lint the size of a mouse, and the Black Member rooms are VERY dirty — even though you pay extra to access them. And it’s not something recent; it’s been happening for months.
To make things worse, now that the temperatures outside have dropped, there’s barely any air conditioning or ventilation inside the gym, and it gets really hot while you’re working out because you’re sweating. Not to mention that during peak hours, many of the cardio machines are turned off, so you have to leave without using them. Since they changed the coordinator, I often find there’s no paper in any of the dispensers, the trash cans are overflowing, and kids younger than the allowed age are training.

On 9-19-25
I went to planet fitness to relax, I took a guest with me, to share the time with. I am 61 years old lady, a grandmother. I went to scan in with Taylor, the supervisor. She dose not have people skills, she is very rude,
to treat others, to help. She said, my bill has not been payed. But did not talk to me. On how we can solve this situation?
She could have got my credit card, and got the payment there. She did not.
She let me in, with me and my guest.
9-20-25
Next day, I went to the bank.
To see what is going on?
The bank said the same thing.
I most give them my credit card. Pass the payment.
I arrived at planet fitness.
Taylor was at the front dest. I spoke in Spanish, because I don't speak English. She pressed the lunk bell, a few times, a employee came, who could speak Spanish. With another staff member. So now, there where 3 staff members? One helping and 2 staff just standing there. I am a 61 yr old lady, what harm can I do?
The gentleman helping me, was very kind and respectful. He took my payment and let me in.
This issue, needs to be brought up with her corporate office, revaluation, on her, and how she treats others. Her staff treats others, better than herself.
My guest stood quiet,
I felt embarrassed.

The facility is substantially large; however, it is populated by individuals who exhibit behaviors characteristic of aspiring wannabe thugs, as well as females dressed in what I can only describe as beach attire. A significant amount of time appears to be spent on social interaction or engaging with mobile devices, which often leads to delays at the service machines. Additionally, the locker room was observed to be in a state of disarray, with water accumulated on both countertops and seating. Notably, an individual was providing a haircut to a companion within the locker room when I arrived.

Went to the Gym at 300, to relax, was miss treated by a supervisor Taylor, me and my wife came inn, as we always do to work out, had my grandson with me, he was gonna wait in the lobby, play with his cell phone.
My wife scanned us with her black card. The supervisor wanted to see where i was in the balck card? She went around the desk, to my wife. I always come inn with out a problem, how embarrassing, we where be littled by this supervisor, infront of others already in the gym, just looked at us, she is very unprofessional.
She checked us inn. She was very rude, disrespectful. She needs supervisor training, how to treat others. Of course this upset me. Ive never had a problem, from any planet fitness I go, I am a respectful man x military 25yrs.
She asked me how old was my grandson? I really didn't want to tell her, because he was gonna wait in the lobby.
I felt, she didn't want him in the lobby. Or us here?
Hes 14. Hes a good kid, never been in any problems, or trouble.
She left it alone, for a little while.
My wife went to check up on our grandson, to see if he was ok, after been treated so bad.
He was ok.
Back to our work out.
She went a second time to see, if he was all right, and comfortable.
This time, supervisor Taylor was not there,
When checked inn on him.
The other employee let my gradson inn.
With out a problem? The staff member looked her, said he could go inn with her.
I thought that was odd, since the supervisor didnt?
A little while later,
She came up to us .
Where me, my wife, grandson and friends.
To speak with us, in a high tone of voice, very disrespectful and rude.
I am 60, and wife is 61.
She said, if we bring our grandson back there again.
She will cancel our membership, if we need to complain, she would give us the number, and her email. Others herd her,
how embarrassing to myself and my wife, and my gradson, we where treated, in such a manner.
Is this how the staff of planet fitness,
and how they treat others?
An employee, is the first face you see in planet fitness. Who welcomes you, and makes you feel at home.( Not in this case.)
She hurrassed, bullyed me and my wife twice.
She made my wife sick from stomach, with so menny things she said to us.

Updating my review: I’ve been coming to this Planet since it opened, and at first I loved it. But over time, it has become extremely dirty. When it first opened, there was a cleaning lady in the mornings who kept the restrooms spotless. Ever since she left, the cleanliness has gone downhill fast.

The restrooms constantly smell like urine, the mirrors are never cleaned, and it’s obvious that the current staff doesn’t care about maintaining basic hygiene standards. The janitor on duty now is lazy and does not take their job seriously. (Mornings)

It’s disappointing that management can’t seem to hire or train staff properly. The condition of this gym is unacceptable compared to what it once was.

I was here at this planet fitness when he first opened about three months . I don’t know what happened since but the bathrooms are filthy. It smells like piss, there is hair in the showers, there is mold on the walls, it smells terrible when you walk in here. I think management needs to take a closer look of what the employees are doing that they’re not cleaning the bathroom. I don’t think I will ever come back to this gym here I rather go to another one because of how nasty the bathrooms are.

This gym is really spacious and their equipment is well organized, it’s not all over the place. Plenty of room and gym equipment. It’s not overcrowded and it’s easy to find parking. It’s always super clean. They always greet you in the front. The employees are very friendly and welcoming. If I could give this gym more than 5 stars ⭐️, I would!!! I’ve been coming here for about 3 months and still going. Definitely worth coming here to workout!

New Edit: 7/31/2025 This gym initially used to be amazing as initiallly stated above, but now my opinion has changed, as time has passed by and things have changed around the gym. With the new equipment added is no longer spacious. I understand new equipment might equal a better gym but now the machines added to the new area are all crowded. Some of the workouts I used to do I can’t do them anymore. Not only that, restrooms are always dirty, the front desk is left unattended and I’m there waiting for 10min or more for the employee to come back to the front desk so I can use the black card amenities, as they disappear. It has happened on multiple occasions.

This gym is so big, it can't get crowded. Been there morning, afternoon and evening; rarely wait on a machine, but there are so many options that you can usually find an alternative. Staff is friendly and black card member area is never busy.

New Gym 🤩. Everything new . Open on Nov. 5 . Massage machines are awesome 😎👍🏻. I was surprised 😯 that I was able to connect to the big tvs with my wireless headphones 🎧😁. Friendly staff. A lot of machines to get your workout done. Free weights, cable machines , stair machine and many treadmills . Slow in the morning but hope to see more people joining this awesome gym . New and Nice abd the staff is nice.
I would prefer less aggressive and less derogatory music 🎶 as well as NO NEWS channels🖥 during my 5 A.M. workout. The music doesn't have to be #KLove I'm just requesting music that isn't demeaning of any culture, nationality or group of people, music that isn't sexually explicit, or vulgar. And can you play television shows that are murder mysteries or unreal reality shows. Just something positive to get us started on a good positive note for the day. Life is stressful enough without being inundated with stress at 5 A.M. (My opinions and requests)🤷🏽‍♀️

This use to be my go to gym since they opened it. One of the reasons I loved it was the large space area where I had plentiful space to do my workouts. They recently installed multiple squat/deadlift platforms along the walls and a turf in the middle that completely reduces the overall FREE space to do my workouts. I guess they trying to compete with local gyms with adding these items but I no longer have any space to do my own thing. Very disappointed.

2 stars instead of 5 due to it getting really packed and when machines go down they are not repaired. Machines are going down left and right and not a sign of an attempt to repair them. They also need benches for the power racks.

I’ve been to planet fitness in 4 different states now. Been to about 7 in El Paso. This is the best one hands down. It’s huge compared to all the other ones decked out with equipment that some other planet fitness don’t have. THEY JUST ADDED FREEWEIGHT BARBELLS. Thats huge for the average gym goer. That alone sets it apart from most planet fitness . This is easily a top tier gym now especially for the price it’s kind of insane how good it is. Amazing gym can’t stress it enough. This is what every planet fitness should strive to be. (The only small downside is that the people at the front desk are way touchier with the lunk alarm than at the other gyms. In one day alone i heard it go off 6 times which is more than I’ve heard it go off the whole time I’ve been going to planet fitnesses all over in the past 4 years.)

Really bad place to work out unless you go at night or avoid classes and remodels there always someone or something in the way. People using 4 or 5 different dumbbells to do the same exercise or occupying to workout stations. Is frustration too. The rude and incompetent staff adds the cherry on top. I got as far as getting regional managers phone number and to be nice and keep what I promised I will not post her phone number online. Because the complaints will probably fill her inbox on a flash. But because of her neglect and making me feel like I'm in the wrong I'm ending my membership only after 5 months. This was my 3rd time trying to fit in at this gym and it always seems to be that I don't belong. If you have a fitness goal this ain't the place for it. Stupid signs are every where like street cones in the city.

Never have i had issues at any other locations but this one. Specifically with the manager Danny. As i checked in he approached me very rudely noting me that i was not allowed to use an other persons account, i tried explaining to him that its my account but its just under my fathers name as he pays for my membership, instead of giving me that opportunity to change the account under my name he said i was not allowed in the gym and that my account would be flagged, however i was able to change the name on the account at another location.

Overall this is good gym for light exercise and has lots of versatile machines to use. I personally hate gyms for one reason, they are dirty and full of germs and this planet fitness is to no Surprise. First time I went to this location I was sick for two weeks. Second time I went felt ok. Just went back for a third time and sick again. There Needs to be a cleaning staff at all times and not just standing around chatting. This is a breeding ground for bacteria and germs so cleanliness needs to be 110 percent priority. For those of you that don’t clean the machines after you use them well it shows your representation. I would like visiting planet fitness more knowing I won’t be going home sick. It’s not just the dirty equipment it’s also all the dirty air trapped in a stagnant box. I tried voicing this my concerns to the front desk and there is no comments section on the app so I hope the owners find this review helpful.

This is a really big PF. First PF built specifically for them. Very spacious and a ton of equipment all new. The most Smith Machines I've ever seen in one building. Big abs and stretching area. The workers were nice and no issue there. I want to try their Therma light thingy...thats new. I definitely will be back.

This gym is the bomb! not only that! it’s the closest a PF has been in my life! It’s literally 5 minutes away from me! I’m never slacking it anymore! it’s literally my house lol, so close I can see it from my window! GYM IS FINALLY OPEN!

Original Review: 10/31/24: We went today at 4:00pm and were greeted nicely at the door. Staff member was very friendly and said that they are doing final touch ups and undergoing the final inspections. She apologized and treated us with kindness. They might open on Friday 11/1/24, and if not then maybe Monday 11/4/24. Hopefully soon so that we can all get that pump!!! I have added a map view since Google is not showing the correct location at this time. I added a green arrow on the picture that points to the correct spot. It is next door to Albertson’s. Despite the minor inconvenience, I have left a 5 star review because of how we were received. We look forward to trying this new location. Thanks for reading and take care!

Huge new gym that has a lot of exercise machines and equipment. A lot of space to maneuver around between machines, and easy ways to connect to the televisions, as well as connecting through Bluetooth to the machines located in the back half of the gym. Staff were nice and eager to be of assistance. They have lockers in the bathrooms as well as smaller combo lockers in the gym area once you pass the front desk to the left.

Big, clean, friendly staff, ventilation system works as opposed to Joe Battle Location. Only downside is that this location only has *five* of the exercise bikes with back rests. No other location in the area has that few. I really don't get it. PLEASE up that number of bikes with back rests to 10. And no, please don't respond telling me to use other machines. That's my go-to and it is MASSIVELY disappointing to only have 5 with back rests. Please increase that to 9-10. It's going to very busy soon and those 5 will always be in use. I'd hate to cancel over this issue, but it is a big deal. Thanks!

Game changer gym absolutely love it! Has lots of equipment to use and a massage spa and red light therapy. The trainer Jose is awesome if you’re new to the whole gym thing he’s definitely a help you’ll feel your workout 😅. Everyone is helpful and super friendly. Definitely recommend it come check it out!
