There is always an old man at this location who spends hours there. He is always at the back in the 30 min yellow room “working out” but he is always forcing interaction with people specially young women, always giving them compliments. This place is really uncomfortable.

I’ve been training with Joe at Planet Fitness, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. He has an incredible depth of knowledge when it comes to exercise safety and proper form — something that really sets him apart from other trainers I’ve worked with. Every session feels purposeful because he explains exactly which muscle groups we’re targeting and why certain movements matter.

He’s also great at making sure I understand how to avoid injury, adjusting workouts when needed without sacrificing results. I’ve noticed huge improvements in my strength, posture, and overall confidence at the gym.

If you’re looking for a trainer who truly knows his stuff and takes the time to make sure you’re training the right way, I highly recommend

I love this gym, Joe trainer is the best. But weekend is pretty empty which is great to workout but would at least like to see a football game while here ☹️ instead of news and sports news nobody cares for . Just FYI it would be nice of staff would be allowed to change tv channels for guests.

Honestly it’s such a good time here until I see this one lady that works here she always kill the vibe and is just rude but in like a bitchy nice way shes older probably mid 40s. All the other works are super sweet and nice especially the guy with glasses lol but also the old lady at the desk doesn’t give the right discounts literally EVERY other plant I’ve been to I’m able to get my protein shakes for 1.99 but with her for whatever reason and only her even other workers here give me the discount since I have the black card. But not her I feel like she’s scamming people she just doesn’t like and that’s not right. 😪

There is always a guy whatever his name is but he is a good friend with the employees at this location. He is always putting a bunch of stuff on one bars and he NEVER uses it, he only makes a big mess to save it for other people. You guys don’t let a simple bag on the floor but you let this guy put all his stuff like if he owns the gym. He doesn’t even care if it’s a Monday or Tuesdays when it is usually packed. Hopefully you guys do something about it because he has complaints already.

I’ve been a member at Planet Fitness for about three months now and I couldn’t be happier! When I first signed up, Estelle at the front desk was so nice and helpful—she gave me a tour and explained how to sign up for the free classes. Once I got comfortable, I started taking the classes and I absolutely love them. Joe, the trainer, is awesome! He’s motivating, knowledgeable, and really pushes you in the best way. Leo, who keeps the gym spotless, is always so friendly and efficient at his job. The staff and members make it feel like such a positive gym community. Highly recommend!

Never had an issue with this gym, as of today I called at 7:20 am before hitting the gym at 8 ish.
I called talk to a lady at this location, she sounded very nice and helpful.
I told them that I had issues with adding teens to the summer program, due to 3 teenagers and not having individual emails/ as well not having individual cellphones.
She said she would help me enroll them and add them to my planet fitness app, that was great news, I told her I was on my way….

I stop by 8:30 and now they can’t help me, 2 ladies at the front desk tossing the ball to each other, stating this is not something they can help me with.. and turns out that I didn’t talk to either one of them… lol

Had to call different family members to help me out with emails, and was at the front desk doing everything on my own, having a hard time

After years of not working out at a gym I decided to enroll into the gym classes they offer. Joe the trainer was awesome he is very patient and throughly explains each and every exercise’s process. Even though I was very sore after the workout with Joe’s enthusiasm and encouragement I will continue to come to the classes. Can’t forget the front desk team they are very welcoming and supportive!

All of a sudden they are enforcing gym bags on the floor. I’ve been a member since they open up at Chelsea and never had a problem with a small bag where i carry my wallet and keys. This gym has had incidents of people opening up lockers and stealing valuables. Horrible customer service by Stephanie she couldn’t give me a straight answer about why I couldn’t carry my bag when I’ve been doing it for over 10 years and also got approval by a staff member that it wasn’t consider a “gym” bag.
-i got an answer from the “owner” on this review. And just like their policies they only read half ass everything. GFY.

The stair master and some treadmills are broken, but there are plenty of other machines available. The staff is friendly, and parking is easy. I go before the rush, and while it’s lightly packed, I can still get a machine. The free weights area does get crowded, but it’s a Planet Fitness, so that’s expected. It works as a beginner gym until you need something more serious. I wouldn’t worry about gym anxiety here. Everyone is in their own world.

It's got descent equipment. Good for the $15/ month. But they are no longer open 24 hrs
I decided to cancel my membership since I had not been in a while and was just a few days past the yearly fee which is automaticallytaken from the bank. However, even though they had just taken it out a few days before they refused to reimburse me for the yearly charge. Not great customer service, IMO. I also didn't like the requirement that you have to allow automatic withdrawal from your bank account: there is no other option to make payments.

This one is closest to me so can conveniently make time around school and work to squeeze in a workout. Front desk is really welcoming. Will say I signed up for the training classes to challenge myself outside of block programs; and the trainers Joe and his trainee Tony definitely delivered. Way to many machines are out of order, occasionally the showers too. Restroom in not very clean, there always water on floor, ppl dont respect the order of the 30 min work out section! The location is usually clean when I'm there. The women's bathrooms seem to be well maintained and kept clean. Staff has always been friendly (admittedly I'm not the most social and the most I do is smile and return greetings). Biggest reason for the less than 5 stars is the hours. One of the reasons I joined was for the 24/7 hours. I'm usually only able to get in the gym sometime between midnight and 4. So the change to 24/5 sucks. It has been the worst decision they could have made

Illegally took funds out of my boyfriends card when he paid the dollar to start his membership. Two days later was charged for the month and now they are saying he can't get a refund! We spoke to two different people and the first time the girl on the phone had attitude and said she can't do it or she'll have to go through a process which is their job and their mistake and we did not get a call back so we went in and they said he still can't get a refund. We enjoy being members there because here is always plenty of machines available even at their busiest peak hours. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the trainers there are always helpful. Used this gym for about 1 year while stationed in El Paso. Liked the gym itself but the staff is shady when it comes to the membership. My husband and I moved away in September of 23 and cancelled our memberships (separately with different employees) and months later we were still getting charged after being told our memberships were cancelled. Luckily I caught it two months after our move for my account and demanded a refund from the manager. Just today MARCH 2024 my husband noticed he was still getting charged for his account, called the place and there’s no records of employees canceling his membership which is what happened to me. So beware when you cancel, get records and names of whoever helps you so that employees can be held responsible.
*Response to management- When we went in we told employees we wanted to cancel, they asked us if we’re sure about cancelling completely, we said yes they pressed buttons on their computers are said it was done. No papers were given to us.

I’d say this is becoming one of the worst Planet Fitness gym in EP. It’s always crowded. On top that, equipment is missing or broken. Then classes are held through out the day where they force you to leave any equipment you were using at the time without letting you finish your workout. I’m a black card member, have been for years and I have never had any problems until now. They should designate classes to the 30 minute workout area and let others enjoy their workout too
