Lots of equipment with clear instructions on how to use them with clear safety procedures. Very spacious with plenty of room to move. Good atmosphere with good music. It's amazing how a franchise can differ so much by location and manager. I love this location. It's very clean, it's large, has plenty of up to date equipment to use and temperature is very cool and comfortable unlike the run down hot Alpha location. I immediately transferred my membership here. Its an inconvenience to drive here being the Alpha location is literally across the street from my home. But it's probably worth the drive to be able to work out in a place where they seem to care about the members experience. If you could, please send the manager from this location to fix the poorly run Alpha location. We would love a nice gym in our neighborhood too.

The staff is really rude. I came as a guess with my niece to visit this gym, and the experience was really bad one of the guys in the front desk was yelling at my niece telling her where was my guess pass, and asking random people to help us treating us like if we are stupid. This is the first and last time in this gym for us. Definitely not recommended this location. 👎🏻

We are from out of state, visiting our son in Carrollton. We selected the Farmer's Branch location because the one in Carrollton was not yet finished. Wow, we are SO glad we did! The first time we entered, Andy was so gracious in explaining everything and accepting of our membership. Since then we have been several times and both Nick and Jacob have provided excellent service. They are very knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly. We truly believe we have been truly welcomed to this branch of Planet Fitness!!!

Been a member for a while. Always clean . Always organized. I noticed the irving facility has a lateral raise machine. It would be nice if the farmers branch facility also had one installed. It does have 2 shoulder press machines. But the design makes it unatural on the rotator cuffs causing potential discomfort or even injury. I know because I got had a strain using it. If you see this please consider it 🙏

I’ve been to several Planet Fitness locations, but the Farmers Branch location truly stands out—and it’s all because of the dream team they have here.

Jacob is absolutely amazing! He’s always smiling, super friendly, and genuinely a pleasure to talk to. Luke is cool, approachable, and always helpful whenever I have a question. Al is great, and both Delina and Brooklyn are incredibly professional and welcoming as managers. You can tell they care about creating a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Even though my home gym is technically another location, I chose to stay at this one not just because it’s convenient, but because the staff here make it feel like home. They’re the reason I keep coming back and pushing forward in my fitness journey.

Highly recommend this location—you won’t find a better team anywhere else!

I’ve been to over 15 locations across the country and this club is one of the best. Things are very clean, machines well situated, massage beds are great. Staff always helpful, friendly, and courteous. A well-run club! The only things that might improve experience would be longer weekend hours, like some clubs have, and the addition of chairs in spots for those scrolling their phones: I have encountered a few instances wherein people were on machines for lengthy periods, though not actively exercising, but instead on their phones. I understand taking brief breaks between sets, but not using a machine as a lounge. Shared parking lot with grocer can make for increasing exercise, as well, but it is quite large with plenty of spaces. Great club!

I would give it a better rating if they would repair or replace machines when they break. Out of order signs have been on equipment for weeks on end. There are a total of 4 stair climbers but it has only been two because the others have been out of order for about a month now. Same with the leg extension machine. With the amount of people who are in the gym each day, it’s very limited equipment which is disappointing. Otherwise, the staff is very friendly and the gym is always clean!

This Planet Fitness has been a great experience! The gym is always clean, the equipment is in good shape, and the staff is friendly and helpful. i am using pf membership from almost a year and i requested to cancel my membership in august this year but they said you will pay penalty to cancel it so best option is cancel it in december when i visit the location the guy name jacob told me that i have to pay extra $69 that is including late fee and annual fee i show him my bank transaction that it has already been charged from my bank account but he shrug his shoulder and very rude and thought i am getting personal with him but i politly told him that i am not talking about you i am talking about the charge which i already paid can i speak to someone but he refused and said i will not cancel your membership and no body will help you you can go and then he start talking with his co working and laughing and pointing his finger towards me that making some kind of joke i mean that behaviour of him is totally unacceptable will never ever go to that location because of that person i will request the management to check the camera on the location and ask him why his behaviour was like that

Signed up for the black card membership, however, no one explained how difficult cancellation of the contract is. Only used the place once and they won't cancel the membership or terminate my contract without me paying $60, which is insane considering I don't go there at all. I love planet fitness. Some of the things I love are that it is open 24 hours a day. Most of them are, at least. There's a few that close on weekends. But the ones I got to like Lewisville, Frisco, and Dallas are always open.

They are super cheap. Even the black card membership is like 26 dollars which is substantially less than most commercial gyms like LA fitness.

They have massage chairs and hydro massage chairs, which feel great after a workout. There's also tanning.

Machines are awesome, and they have everything you need.

I wish they had classes, but I can see how not having classes keeps the prices low.

Theres always only 1 or 2 stairsteppers that work the other 2 have been having the "OUT OF ORDER" sign forever
Update: 2 years later the same stair stepper sits awaiting repair or replacement the one next to it has broken steps that you feel as you step

I visited this location for the first time, and I'm not understanding all the great reviews. The first thing I noticed was that the men locker room was filthy, especially the toilet area. Second, but very important, I could not find one single hand sanitizer stations, not one. I'm not concerned about covid, but a gym should have at minimum 3 hand sanitizer stations! There was equipment out of service, too many. I won't be returning here again.

I am always ready to go to the gym not for my internal motivation (though some of my reason has to do with it), but rather the atmosphere in which I do it. The gym is always clean, and I am motivated by the people around me. When I had a problem with one of the massage chairs yesterday (my headphones got stuck in there!), the staff was helpful, quick, and patient with all my apologizing. In the end, because I was treated so well, even after I thought I compromised their equipment, that gave me the idea to go everyday.

As a Black Card member, I won’t be returning to this location due to being harassed about having my book bag with me (although the gym was nearly empty). I do not feel comfortable leaving my valuables in a locker that can easily be accessed by any staff member! This is a ridiculous policy!

The 4 stairmaster machines have been down starting 6 months ago. The one (1) that worked some of January has finally broken. It has been one lame excuse after another about getting them fixed....
So VERY DISAPPOINTED, NONE have been repaired.

I wish I could rate it higher. First off the employees here have to be military trained or something. Absolutely the most professional and welcoming group of individuals I’ve ever met. Secondly, the place is spotless. Someone is on the floor constantly keeping it clean. Couldn’t find a single hair anywhere in fact coming all the way from CA and traveling so many PFs already I want to say this is THE cleanest one. The bathroom renovations are amazing and provide great privacy. My goodness give these employees a pat on the back I hope each and everyone gets everything they’re working for real.
