When I arrive in the mornings it is still pitch black outside and all of the outside lights are already turned off. The parking lot is full so I’m forced to park at the back of the lot and walk to the gym in complete darkness, it’s terrifying as a woman. There are tons of employees always standing around at the front but the trash cans are always over flowing and the bathroom is always gross.

3 days now and nobody has cleaned the men’s restrooms and shower areas properly. The same 💩 stain still in the same 🚽. Bottle cap left in the sink still there. No visible cleaning of the showers for a few days now. There’s a plastic bag and other garbage left in the shower which has been the same most of this week. Not sure who’s in charge of this since I’m aware everyone in the staff probably has a specific duty there. I love PF and I just transferred my membership from a different PF to this location. This location just needs some severe attention in the men’s area.

Day two consecutive no staff in sight so the "black card .membership" cant be used.
New gym, nice equipment and so far Ive only noticed two staff members that routinely are visible, cleaning, taking out trash. For the last two weeks or so trash is overflowing, and someone leaves the walkie talkie at the desk for "assistance" with tanning or massage chairs but never responds, this morning three of us tried to get SOMEONE to appear, even other gym members on machines were looking around in an effort to assist, if I knew how to turn on the machines myself I could've walked around the desk and done it myself.
We payed extra for the perks of the hydro bed and massage chair and cant even use it?!??!?!
Someone needs to refund me my money !!
Maybe the corporate office needs to just install a kiosk so we can scan ourselves in and still use the perks we pay for.

The overnight workers can almost never be found. If i need something turned on in the spa, i cant because the workers are always in the back somewhere. I waited 20 mins last night and she never came back out.

This gym in Forney has no competition and is the best or one of the best PF locations. Unfortunately, there are three things that will make it go downhill and become one of the most poorly managed gyms, as often happens with PF, and these are:
1. The three or four employees at the front desk, including the manager, just chat and only occasionally come out to clean or restock paper.
2. The water filter hasn’t been replaced for over 30 days, so the water people drink isn’t clean.
3. They leave the second entrance door open — the one designed to prevent A/C from escaping. Every day, I remove the mat that keeps it propped open, and they put it back. On top of that, they don’t turn on the main ceiling fan in the center, or they “forget,” as they’ve told me.

Looks like they don’t take safety as priority. Nothing is bolted to the floor to prevent it from tipping over. Additionally, lack of gym etiquette by others. Machines attachments, waters bottles and other items just laid sprawled across the gym floor. Workers don’t even bother straightening the gym floor.

Edit: who knows when the last time the bathroom was cleaned properly. The same snot rocket has been on the shower wall for 3+ weeks (picture in photos).

This new Forney location got the best music playlist I ever heard at the planet fitness. Very diverse and hip. I’ve heard Toni Braxton,Glorilla, burnaboy, jcole lil Wayne,shaggy,Beyoncé im going to keep adding. It’s fun working out here with such good vibes and great friendly staff. Massage chair is off the chain

This location is the worst location I have ever encountered. I signed up at the Forney location some months ago. Due to an unforeseen family emergency, I was never able to use my membership. Prior to the month end, I request to have my account frozen until I was able to use my membership for the first time. However, I ended up getting charged. During this timeframe I was not able to visit the location nor get a manager on the phone to speak with to inform about my situation. After trying several times to contact the manager of the forney location, to request a refund for device not used due to a major family emergency, I was told no I cannot get a refund though I did not use their service. The Manager Klara was rude, heartless and inconsiderate during our conversation. I did not appreciate the way I was treated at this location. After the way I was treated by the Manager, I definitely will not re-instate my account and join the PF Forney location. The staffers are young, I was hung up on, and talked to rude by the manager herself. My problem was jot resolved and she was comfortable with that. I confirmed with my bank that ACH charges are still occurring even though I was told by the staff members and Mgr. Klara that my account was canceled. This location should hire professional and respectful workers. Not the batch it currently holds.

I love how nice the staff is. I love how their machines are comparable to those in other gyms! I love how they dont have that lunk alarm and I absolutely love the fact that there are barbell free weights.
The only think I don’t like is how you have to give them something or yours to borrow the barbell pad. So instead I just bring my own. But other than that, its all good

Amazing! Everything is still new but I hope it stays that way. They are so friendly and helpful there as well as they are always walking around the floor cleaning, refilling cleaning supplies and the trainers are always visible too for help! Lots of machines and equipment so I have never had to really wait to do any of my exercises. It's the most welcoming and supportive gym I have ever been to! We love it!

They keep the vibe light, cool, and actually fun. No fake smiles or corporate weirdness. just genuinely good people who make the gym feel like a place you want to be, not just a place you have to go.

I talk a LOT. Like podcast-level monologuing. But they don't make me feel like I'm annoying. They keep it chill, throw in encouragement and still make me feel like I belong.

Also, side note they're all built which is solid.

they're the reason I keep coming back here. So promote them. Give them a raise. Name the dumbbells after them. Whatever it takes.

Signed up for Planet Fitness on June 10th and paid the initial sign up fee and no one inform me that another fee will come on the June 17th! (I only workout out there ones) When it was not paid they tried to charge $42.11 and would not let me cancel my membership on the 20th of June if I don't pay it! No one informed me of the double payment and a late charge fee which just left a very bad taste in my mouth! Got it resolved but will never go back to Planet Fitness again after that experience!

This gym is really nice. The set up is cool. They have the squat rack area which was a plus. I was thoroughly impressed with the aesthetics of this location. I've been to quite a few Planet Fitness locations and this one was in the top of the list for me.

I came in to the new Forney location and asked for help to transfer my club to the Forney location. I was told to do it online. After a lot of struggling with inadequate wifi, it still didn’t go through. The two employees behind the desk told me my membership shows it was cancelled. It shows active on my app. The best advice they could give was “give it a day and if not, call customer service.” So I had to leave! What is their job if not to help customers? I had to do everything on my phone and they couldn’t find ANYTHING to help?! I was so looking forward to having a location near me but it opened MONTHS later than advertised and this is my first experience here. I am underwhelmed and pissed off.

I love this location, it’s clean for the most part. Easy check in, this was my 45th time coming. I can get a good workout in. However, there’s a boy of the staff, BROOKE, who should mind their business. Apparently, he/she has been watching me too hard with the spray bottle. He told me not to leave it at the machine, I don’t leave the spray bottle at the machines. He was being rude about it, like he was trying to check me. I can tell he wanted drama. I don’t bother anybody, no one was harmed. I’m very respectful.
I can hold the spray bottle in my hand while cleaning. He wanted attention I guess. Please tell him to stop approaching people with BS. There are children here, I don't want to have to hurt anybody over disrespect. I would appreciate it. Thank you!

We came in during memorial hours and got denied entry at 12:20. Keep in mind they closed at 1:00. I wasn’t the only member that got denied. I saw so many members get turned away and they were pretty frustrated. I had to drive an extra 30 minutes to use another gym.

It's a good gym, with nice staff, clean, and affordable. Sometimes, I see equipment with a sign saying you can't use it because it's not working properly, but after a day, it's working again, but rarely, it's the machine that I need to use. Both pec decs are kind of funky because the right side won't fully extend. I wish they had a belt squat machine, though, as a recommendation to add a new machine.

This is an amazing gym, I love that PF is getting better and incorporating new equipment. However my 3 star is due to cleanness of the facility. Early morning showers are always dirty and no soap on the soap dispensers. I have found dirty boxers and towels on the floors that don’t get picked up. Night shift please do better for people that work out and utilize the bathroom early morning.

When I tell you I’m excited to go and check this gym out, I’ve been waiting for months I live in mesquite but definitely don’t care to drive a few miles from my original location. My home gym is too small and overly crowded and not to mention dirty! I can’t wait to see what this gym has in store.

okay so I havent been there yet... but seems decent from the reviews and pictures so far... all I wanna know is if yall have all the workout equipment a person working on his body needs... because most of the pictures are of rack cages and tredmills, we wanna see some chest fly machines, benchs and stuff like that... basically show us all the equipment, so we know we are set when we come to sign up for a membership

So far so good. One of the better locations I've been to. But, I just have one issue. "The Fan!" Please cut the large ceiling fan down from time to time. I like to sweat a little when I'm on the cardio machine, not SHIVER!

One of the best Planet Fitness’s I’ve been too in the DFW area. Really big and has a lot of machines. The barbell squat racks is a plus too. Have never seen that in any planet fitness before! I’ve only seen only smith machines so I’m excited to start using those racks more often on leg day!
