Trash Trash AND MORE TRASH HANGS AROUND & NEAR THIS LOCATION. YOU COULD TOTALLY IGNORE ALL THE RIFF RAFF IF IT WASNT JUST OUTSIDE 🙄 I suppose.
I would attempt to join here due to this location bring near downtown Fort Worth where I have several clients but thanks to one of the rude & unhelpful employees (I believe a female, which has llong dreads,thin frame & obviously not doing her job)I would not make a mistake & do so. I came by this Location on Lancaster & I tried to get this person's attention (I do know she did hear me) to ask a few questions regarding current information on joining & becoming a member but this person would not respond as they were in the middle of sweeping the floor near the front I did asked twice & after the second time of asking she just turned around & walked off. I decided that was a fair warning & TMA now! I decided to prove that my thoughts were on point looked at the views went straight to the lowest ones which most of them were very current a majority so then I burned off 🚙 being very grateful for this Sunday despite this event and that I made a great effort to start the day off wiith the Lord TRULY being my Devine Guide today! Thank you Jesus!

This is strictly off of interactions w staff member Liz, the only one I've interacted with. I started a membership, during the interaction (if that's what you'd call it as she didn't interact other than telling me to sit somewhere to fill out info on a tablet) I stopped and told her that the tablet indicated my employer and I think I might have free membership. Instead of looking to see what I was talking about, she told me to just come back "when I can" after I fill out the tablet...okay. Zero customer service, zero smile, zero eye contact, zero interest, but I thought "okay, maybe she's having a rough day". No. That's just how she conducts herself. Today I came in as this was "when I could" and it was well before a full 30 days of my sign up and still the same disinterest. When I advised I was cancelling she told me that to not be billed I would have had to cancel it yesterday...what? She stated that's when Planet Fitness bills customers. Hearing this I told her I wish "they" would have told me this when I signed up as I specifically stopped the process remembering that I might have free gym membership which I do but at another gym. I knew it was her but I was being cordial. She blatantly ignored me, pure silence then told me to sign and I'll be billed. Curious that she just disregarded my concern I asked her why and she told me "well I told you to come back as soon as you can" to which I replied "that was today". Ignored again. When I advised her she's ignoring me again she elevated her voice saying "I told you the tenth" which I told her she did not. I told her if I knew I had a deadline I would have came in. The tenth was yesterday. Ignored again. I eventually asked to speak with her boss bc I have to constantly remind you that you're ignoring me w no customers here and she pointed to a deck of cards. No apology, no acknowledgement of misunderstanding, no ownership, no accountability. I might as well not be in the building and she might as well not be working at a front desk. If this was just an interaction outside of a customer interaction "face of the company" scenario Id just do Bonquiqui's "Rude" response and move along but this is a company that provides service to customers. The unwelcome energy given immediately at sign up and even in my next interaction was unfortunate. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to an establishment where it's initially nerve wracking knowing I'm not in the best shape to be treated like trash. A throw away.

I’ve been coming to this location for a month now and their AC doesn’t work very well. It’s hot in the gym, hot in the locker room. Needs to be fixed. Not sure if this is across the board or not, but the crowd meter is wrong. It has 1 bar all the time and it is super packed. Not one treadmill was open the last time I went.
Edit to add- we spoke with a lady at the front to ask about the AC and she said she thinks it was fixed because it’s been even hotter before than it is now. It’s hot and makes me want to leave, ruining my workout. There’s a fan in the locker room because that’s even hotter than the gym. The front area when you walk in, is cooler than the gym too.

I liked this location because it’s on my way home from work. I’m a black card member- so I signed a 12 month contract- but there should be some kind of leeway here. Because if I knew that they can run a gym with AC issues- FOR MONTHS NOW- I’ve read multiple complaints in the reviews tonight. I wouldn’t have signed a contract for 12 months to not have AC- I can workout outside if that’s the case- why am I paying to walk/workout in the heat?

I also learned if you are a black card member, you can only have 1 guest try the black card perks 1 time only. How is this a perk of paying almost $30 a month?- yes they can come in the gym with you, but only try a massage one time. That is NOT said when you sign up. Just saying.

Nice gym. The night worker doesn't clean the gym . The trash cans are always full, no soap in the dispenser in the men's restroom. I recently started coming back during the early am hours and the same person, same situation. This is a nice facility. But the worker IDK SMH.

Worst planet fitness I’ve been to. First They always seem to have problems with there a/c and most importantly the staff is rude and seems like the manager is scared of its own staff as he said nothing to his staff as they answered me rudely right in front of him after asking a general question… I understand a simple “no we can’t” but the way they responded was disrespectful. I would save the trip and go somewhere else until they hire new staff

The gym is nice but these 5 stars need to go to an employee like Bianca (hope the right name). Lately I’ve been going to different locations. I work out, red light therapy and take a shower. I couldn’t believe that I left behind by accident Shampoo and conditioner I just bought For around $65. It is difficult to call the locations directly. I was driving to different locations to find which location I had checked in at. Finally figure out where. This experience was brutal. Everyone told me whether it was Customer Service or other locations that they keep things For at least a month. When I got to this location, this lady (not Bianca ) told me right away No, we throw it away immediately. Not only losing m thus expensive treatment for hair I just bought being gone was so disappointing , but this girl’s attitude towards me, the way she talked to me, even the way she looked at me and totally dismissed me certainly got to me. I don’t why I even stayed work out. I called customer service . She listened and was genuinely very understanding when I was in tears in how this girl just treated me. Hard day and then that got to me. Customer service lady thank you for validating and listening. She was professional but put time and care genuinely.very same night I worked out And did the exact same thing and left my shampoo and conditioner !! I couldn’t believe it. It’s not something i have ever much less a second time same place. I tried calling they were already closed. I had to wait Till early morning to drive back over there and pray they didn’t throw them away. This time A young lady at the front desk named Bianca, Smiled when I started asking about my shampoo and conditioner. She asked me to describe My product. She was so excited to pull out this bag and tell me That when she found it, she thought to herself oh, I bet somebody really wants this Back. She wrapped it up in a bag and put it someplace, hoping I would come for it. I felt like I was a member again. How darling she was. What a difference just simple kindness, and pure Genuine caring can make in someone’s day. Not only that It can have Long ripple effects as well. For example, I didn’t have to to try and figure out how to purchase It all over again. So the five stars for her, I wanted to Make sure a manager hears How thoughtful she was And how that can reflect At the gym as an employee . She’s professional, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Even if my toiletries were not found, how sweet, kind and professional she was and what a huge difference. She should get promoted At the very least she should get a raise. I’ve never witnessed courage quite like this. When a dangerous person tried to cause chaos at our gym, most of us froze, unsure of what to do. But she didn’t hesitate for a second. With fearless determination, she stepped forward, placing herself between the threat and everyone else.

What impressed me most wasn’t just her strength, but her resolve. You could see in her eyes that she was ready to go all-out if it meant keeping the gym and its members safe. She wasn’t reckless—she was strategic, calm under pressure, and absolutely unwavering.

Because of her actions, the situation was defused quickly, and everyone walked away unharmed. She turned what could have been a frightening experience into a powerful reminder that true heroes don’t wear capes—they wear gym shoes.

Dear Planet Fitness Corporate:

I’ve been a loyal member of Planet Fitness since 2005 and have regularly attended this particular location for the past nine years. It has always been a welcoming environment with friendly staff and a positive atmosphere, which I truly appreciate.

However, I wanted to express my growing concern regarding the air conditioning issue that has persisted for nearly two months. While I understand that maintenance challenges can arise, the lack of A/C over such an extended period has made it increasingly difficult and uncomfortable for members to maintain their workouts—especially during the summer.

Many of us have remained patient and hopeful for a resolution, but at this point, it feels as though the matter isn’t being given the attention it deserves. I truly enjoy this gym and do not wish to look elsewhere, but the current conditions are becoming unsustainable.

I sincerely hope corporate takes prompt action to resolve this issue and restore the comfortable environment we’ve come to value.

Coming from another county, I looked up the closest gym to me and Google pointed me here. No regrets. Gym was clean. The staff was helpful, friendly, and patient. Alexis took care of any questions and concerns i had and even gave me a couple of tips on my workouts. No pressure to join and they will offer you a day pass if you need more time to think about membership.

Always fun hanging with Ray and Alexis. Never had any problems with the staff and the machines are usually in good working order.

The neighborhood is a little questionable but I haven't had any problems, just sometimes have to drive around someone laying in the parking lot or talking to themselves, pacing up and down the sidewalk.

I’ve been a member of PF for a little over three years! The Lancaster location is my favorite here in Fort Worth. Rey and Alexis go above and beyond to keep this gym clean and safe for everyone working out. Living in downtown it’s hard to find a good gym close by that is not super expensive or limited in hours/accessibility (especially during peak traffic hours). This is a 10 minute drive easily, and no traffic. There are some homeless folks around because it is Lancaster, and that is in any downtown city, but they have not bothered me/my vehicle nor have I ever felt unsafe. (The most trouble is just watching for pedestrians when driving Lancaster in general). The parking lot is well lit for when I go at night. Staff is super nice and respectful. Rey and Alexis are always super sweet and greeting me with good energy in the morning, hyping me up a good workout 💪 Equipment is always clean and working, have not had any disappointments with this establishment so far it’s been well taken care of. I love that I feel more comfortable getting back into my workout routine with this place after taking some time from the gym. Love! 🔥

Liz who works the afternoon shift is one of the hardest working people I know. She’s been providing excellent customer service for over a year now. I’ve seen her handle shifts by herself and make sure that everyone is heard and helped whenever they come through the door. I’ve seen her go back and forth and help Spanish speaking members as well as members who speaks English. A lot of the people who come in already know her by name. She handles unexpected situations in a mature manner. She’s helped train a lot of the new employees who work there currently. She always gives 110 percent and what she does. She goes above and beyond.

I go to the Fort Worth East Lancaster location, and I absolutely love it. The gym is amazing, and the service is top-notch.
