Thoroughly enjoy the facility. I travel and have used quite a few Planet Fitness facilities and this is by far the cleanest most organized facility I have used. Daniel, Natalie, and Eddie are a pleasure to be around and question, between the 3 of them the equipment is spotless. If I had to one suggestion, I wish the manager was a little more friendly, she is a little rude to customers. The music is perfect for my taste.

This is the second time i've had a bad experience with a personal trainer (new person) I haven't had any personal training sessions but while I was on my machine today the personal trainer told me I had a minute or two left until she needed that for her class, I pay my membership and she didn't reserve the area she needed until a minute or two before she needed it. I was already finishing up with the equipment and if she had just asked how much I had left she would've found out I was about to leave. I understand having your class but you need to remember everyone here also pays for their membership, maybe don't put it on the members and reserve the area further ahead of time... It's a shame I keep having to leave reviews like this because I LOVE the majority of the front desk staff. Clean facility but i've had too many experiences where some people need to learn basic manners

I have to say love the gym. I’m in Ardmore so it really is amazing to see such a huge gym. I’m just building awareness for planet fitness when I say the worker you had at 9:30 had a line at the front desk because she kept going into a room separate from the gym to get away from your guests. She had a walkie talkie that me and a group of people kept talking through. Finally she comes out but she had the worst attitude and trying to build arguments with every person infront of me in line at 9:30pm

I really like planet fitness; there’s lots of variety of equipment, different areas, very friendly staff time to explain everything, and there are definitely some luxury options there as well! I’ve been a member of this planet fitness for quite a while, and I usually just go to tan. I’m a nurse and I’m on my feet walking and burning calories all day long so the last thing I wanna do is work out at the end of the day. Their tanning facilities are wonderful. They have hybrid beds lay down bed, standup beds, and even a red light bed. The prices cannot be beat for a month-long tanning membership also. It’s right by my house so it’s fast and easy and clean and lately the staff that they’ve been hiring have been out of this world. I just got home from tanning a few minutes ago, and wanted to take the time to name a few staff members that have been super helpful in the last week. Rosalie helped me choose my tanning session Saturday night because I hadn’t been in a while and I wanted to get some color back in my face and on my legs. I asked for a stand up and she suggested I try a full session in the hybrid for 9 minutes. I was amazed that I did not burn and I obtained a super rich and glowing color with one session. She was so friendly and greeted me with warmth and a giant smile. She made me feel welcome and she was so helpful to boot. The next evening I came in and she wasn’t in, but a gentleman I’ve been informed is named Sanford helped me. He was so fun to talk to. He was so kind and also extremely helpful and he also had this giant smile and wonderful personality that just made me feel like I wanted to stay and make friends with him!!! It was awesome. Fast forward to today-I walk in and there isn’t one, but THREE giant smiles coming off of the faces of three extremely warm, welcoming and helpful individuals named Eddie, Natalie & Daniel. All three of them were knowledgeable, quick and efficient in the assistance they offered but they made me feel welcome and seen when I just came to tan for a few minutes of my day. I even stopped and talked to them on the way out and may have fallen in love with Eddie who was so complimentary and sweet! WHAT A CREW YOU HAVE PF!!!! I’m so proud of them for hiring such a beautiful bunch of folks to help us all out with our gym and tanning needs. In the past they’ve been known to hire younger kids-probably high school aged I would say-that isn’t always impressive to me. They really haven’t looked at your or been the most impressive in the past. It’s like they’re standing there because they are forced to be there, not because they want to be…So whatever you’re doing guys-keep it up. I want to see more Rosalies, Sanfords, Eddies, Daniels & Natalies up there guys!!! You have some rock stars in your midst and I appreciate them all. Give em all a raise for being stellar!!! 👌🏼

I have been a Planet Fitness member for over 10 years and was glad to see a new location near my home. I usually enjoy going there. However, last night I had a very unpleasant experience with a staff member named KC.

It was after 11:00 pm, not many people there, and the Black Card area was completely empty. I asked KC to set up a 20-minute hydro massage for me, as I had always done before. She refused right away, saying the policy was 10 minutes at a time. I told her I understood, and politely asked her to simply set two sessions back-to-back (10 + 10), which would save both of us extra steps. Unexpectedly, she refused again and insisted I must come back to the desk to request the second session.

I had no choice but to accept. I clearly told her the bed number, and she confirmed. But when I got to the bed, it didn’t work. I had to get out of bed, leave the room, go back to the desk, and ask why. She then claimed I had not told her the number. This trips repeated several times. In the end, I had three sessions, but each one took two attempts to set up—forcing me to walk back and forth six times.

It seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing, yet pretended that she did. When I asked if she was new, she said no, that she had been with Planet Fitness for a while, which was surprising.

What should have been a relaxing time turned into a very frustrating experience. I hope staff like KC receive more orientation and proper training before working at the front desk, so they can at least meet the basic service standard, and I don’t want to experience it again.
I realized it wouldn’t be fair to give the whole store just one star because of one less-than-great employee. So I updated my rating back to four stars.

With Pricilla’s angel-like warmth and Sanford’s friendly professionalism, I enjoyed yet another wonderful evening here. Although Rosalie wasn’t on shift tonight, the care and support she has shown me on many other occasions remain unforgettable. These three—Pricilla, Sanford, and Rosalie—are the staff members I interact with the most, and each of them is unfailingly kind, attentive, and highly skilled. They don’t just make the gym run smoothly—they make it feel welcoming, like a place I truly look forward to coming back to. I absolutely adore them and deeply appreciate all they do!

Unfortunately, I ran into KC again last night. When I asked her to set up the hydromassage bed, she told me to scan my membership card—even though I had already done that when I entered. Luckily, Sanford—one of my favorite staff members—was still around. I turned to him, and he helped me right away without any problem.

After the session, I came back to the front desk where KC was the only one there. I asked her to set it for 20 minutes, and she did, but very slowly and reluctantly. The second 10 minutes didn’t work at all (no pressure). I got off the bed and returned to the desk, but KC was gone. I tried to reach her with the walkie-talkie, only to find it wasn’t left at the front desk! I couldn’t waste more time waiting, so I left disappointed.

Sanford continues to show excellent service, but I sincerely hope I won’t have to deal with KC again in the future.

I realized that giving the entire store a one-star review just because of this one not-so-good employee would be unfair to the owner, so I’ve now changed it back to four stars.

It's a new location TRUCKER FRIENDLY just park in the back.... it is organized but there was equipment out of service. The owner must be a cycle fan because the bikes was top of the line but the treadmill was basic. I'd visit again just because of parking and the location.

This is a preliminary 5 stars... I've only been once because I'm in between states for a move right now. I have 2 other locations near my Texas address that are the same distance away to check out still, and I can't wait to compare/pick my new home gym... but for now, this one? Color me impressed. Well I would give this place a 5 star but I’ve been having not to great of an experience with the front desk and also today with a trainer.
The front desk doesn’t seem like they are happy to be there. I may be picky or thinking wrong but I like smiles and a great welcome in. You know?
So today the trainer kicked me off a machine while I’m doing my set and said I have to move because she will need it for her class. But aren’t you a trainer you should know variety of different machines and workouts if someone is using that specific machine…….
Also I noticed with her form and her even showing her client her form was off. I’m just disappointed.
Also with leaving the gym the 3 young women were talking to each other and not saying hi to people walking in and not saying bye to people walking out….

Great gym. Clean and well maintained. Lots of variety of equipment. The only negative applies to every other PF I’ve ever visited…if you want to bench press barbells, squat, deadlift, etc…you’re limited to Smith machines. No legit squat racks. I suspect it’s an insurance issue.

Some of the cardio machines are broken, most of the fans on the working machines don't work. Other than that, it is one of the nicest Planet fitness in the area. I'm from Keller and I prefer to go to this one instead of the Keller location. It's bigger with more equipment.

Not sure who the genius was to give a bunch of high school kids free memberships for the summer but they need to be fired and never be allowed to work for any gym ever again.

This location is already full bc how small it is but then you give kids who have no want to workout but rather use machines like juggle gyms and taking up equipment that people who actually want to work out bc they're on their phone for 10 minutes between sets (by sets seeing who can lift the most not actually working out)

It's a nightmare during the summer now. If the kids actually wanted to workout I wouldn't have any problems but they're just goofing off 99% of the time while pissing off paying members.
If I didn't get my membership for free through insurance I would have canceled long ago.

And they never clean the tanning beds, they're beyond disgusting.

ALSO, DON'T LET THEM TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN'T USE A CREDIT CARD FOR YOUR MEMBERSHIP OR TO UPGRADE TO TAN IF YOU'RE USING INSURANCE FOR YOUR MEMBERSHIP. MY NEPHEW WORKS FOR EXCEL FITNESS (regional manager) AND THEY ABSOLUTELY WILL LET YOU, YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A BACKBONE AND TELL THEM YOU CAN AND WILL USE ONE.

BE SURE TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP BY THE 9TH AND NOT THE 15TH BC THEY SEND THE PAYMENT REQUEST TOKEN TO YOUR BANK BETWEEN THE 10TH AND 15TH EVERY MONTH. Very clean place and the machines are so smooth on the whole range of motion. Everything looks so new and well maintained and stuff is where it’s supposed to be. Best value in my opinion at only $25 a month. I love the smith machines and benches and cable towers and TRX and assisted pull-up/dips and the hydro massage and the stretching cage. Only thing missing for me is a free motion machine, also one for lateral raises and one for standing calf raises. If there was also an indoor basketball court this would be the perfect gym for me and I would be willing to pay close to $60 a month. I am really grateful to all the front desk people who work so hard to clean and maintain this place!!

I have only been going to this location for a year now. And wanted to update review. The gym is sometimes very clean, and sometimes it’s not. Many machines need new covering. The vinyl is worn through or cracked.
The staff is either keeping up with spray and paper towels to wipe the machines down with or they are not. I wish they just walked around more to help with crowd control…They are sweeping and dusting or they are not. It does make a huge difference…. Especially now with the crazy crowd of teens.
I am still shocked on the amount of people who don’t wipe their machine down after use, and the amount of open toe shoes or slides are present in the gym. Seems like a safety issue..but since the staff is not really around to check on this or to call people out….
A lot of people on machines with cell phones and not actually using the machine, too. I wish this was monitored more. Some machines there is 1 so you can go do 4-5 other machines and that person is still sitting on machine.
I do wish the gym had more open space for people to use mats and work out without taking up space by a machine.
The other huge issue - this gym is very busy and then during the summer they (planet fitness) invite all the non paying teens to come for free and hang out… and it sucks! It’s seriously so bad as this location. My friend and I counted 35 teens in one area one day. ONE AREA! Kids spitting on floor, yep! We saw it and showed it to workers. 4-5 kids per machine, they don’t wipe the machine down… again this gym is already pretty busy so to me this summer perk really just hurts the paying folks. I wish PF would realize how this is not a good thing. I have explored other gyms at this point. Driving to a PF right now that is 25 minutes further just to avoid this crazy situation. Maybe PF should do teens free. From 12pm to 2pm or 8pm to 10pm to help with crowd control but give us working adults a chance to actually use the gym as paying customers.

Imagine an already packed gym. Then imagine that gym gave kids with absolutely no gym etiquette free memberships for the summer. Place is beyond packed. Crowd meter shows only 2 bars yet not a single treadmill or machine is free. Guess they don't count all those free kids when calculating the Crowd Meter. Not worth having a membership during the summer due to them doing nothing about the kids using the place as a place to gossip instead of a place to workout.

***EDIT 5/29/25*** They've really made improvements in their cleaning since my last review. It is generally cleaner than the more expensive gyms in the area. I should clarify that the staff I referenced earlier was limited to one individual who is primarily on the floor. Their poor advice caused injury to 2 of my friends. The other employees are great. I mainly see Daniel and Natalie
(I think, but I'm terrible with names). They are at the front desk in the mornings and are always kind and helpful. If I could give a half star, I would rate this gym at 4.5. The only downside is the limited free weights, but you can generally find a machine or an alternate exercise to get it done.

Facility is nice, the people not so much. Typically too busy chatting with each other versus serving customers. Went this morning as a guest and saw a $10/month promotion while in the restroom that ends today. Signed up at kiosk and went to finish on my computer at home as instructed and the promo code didn't work. Figured I remembered wrong so called the club and was told they don't have a male to go into the restroom. What? Is that the only place they have this promo info? She was adamant that they don't have a $10/mo promo but yet the sign clearly stated that.

Ultimately, I ended up not needing the membership due to memberships at multiple group fitness studios. I went in to cancel dreading the conversation. It was quick and painless, which I appreciate. I went to 3 different locations and they are all clean, with lots of machines. In fact, in MY opinion, too many. There is not a specific are big enough for yoga &/stretching. There is a room for stretching, because t with machines.
I was told to “just lay the mat between (or next) the machines”. That is not sufficient space.
The locker room is small, the lockers are smaller, my gym bag barely fits. It’s awkward when two or more people are trying to get in there at the same time.
The showers are nice and with upgraded fixtures. There are also two changing rooms, which is nice.
Long story short it is not for me and and paying extra to get out of my contact.
I couldn’t add photos bc it’s not allowed to take photos in the locker room (fair).

Very clean club. Staff is always cleaning. The club manager really cares about the club and he has a kind of cool and fun vibe. Very happy at the club at Alliance Town Center in Ft Worth.

This specific Planet Fitness it was good the only reason I gave it four stars was because it was so busy every time I go in there which obviously doesn't bother some people and it don't really bother me but I get a lot of anxiety so I like to work out in places that aren't so busy

My only complaint is the shower are freezing. I have told them in the summer time. Kinda of gotten better. I have told them 2 days in a row. All they say is we will look at it. And put in a ticket.
No a good enough answer.

Also the girls at the front desk are coloring and doing games. You should be cleaning instead of being a kid. I know the showers need to be a better clean.
I so don't see this any other planet fitness.

They charged me for an extra month when my year was up in December. They had told me I can only come in person to cancel on the 16th of January then never explained to me i would be charged again in January because I canceled after the 10th (even though I HAD to come in on the 16th per the team member that spoke with me). My account all of January said I owed $0 yet still charged me and charged me a late fee because I did not know they were going to charge me. Even the team member that spoke with me said I shouldn't be charged because my account said 0 on my end and her end. When I called and spoke to the manager she told me they'd refund me because it did look like my conversation with the team member was brief so they said she probably did not explain to me that I would be charged (she didn't). They never processed my refund and now won't even answer my calls. So I got screwed out of $50.

I liked the hydro massage chairs and the regular massage chairs with the arm massagers. The Camp Bowie location doesn't have that, and the arm massagers come in handy for when I come in after working at the Amazon Warehouse

This location is very nice and the machines are rarely out of order. I actually live closer
to the Saginaw location, but I drive out of my way to this location because it is better. I came in this morning on Christmas Eve, and Eddie met me at the door and gave me a big, friendly greeting as I walked in. Samford was also very nice, and we had a quick, friendly chat as I scammed in. The staff is always very nice and friendly!

3 times a week and agent buddy of mine (Ken Bird) and I have been pumping iron and keeping our energy up. This is the best gym I have been to for a quick work-out. They have a 30min full body work out room that is an amazing place to get started. We are rarely there for more than an hour and always feel great as a result.

I think it’s Daniel and Priscilla that work in the 4am crew. They are awesome, always keep the gym in tip top shape, things are always clean, that bathrooms on a bad day are like an 8/10 and for a gym that’s AMAZING. The place is always looking nice, and the staff aren’t just glued to their cell phones, they really take care of that place and keep it lookin amazing. Well done AM crew!

I started coming here when my Blink Fitness location filed for bankruptcy and abruptly ended my membership.
The gym is huge and there is almost always equipment available.
The Black Card membership gives me and my guests access to the spa, which is my favorite part.
