The cleanliness is 💯. The faces at the counter is welcomingband helpful. However my first visit was unpleasant at this location. I went to walk around and found an employee cleaning machines, so I had a question on how to work particular machines. He completely ignored me. I said, excuse me Sir. I'm asking you a question ❓ bhe completely ignored me! So I went to the the desk and asked if they had someone to help explain the work out equipment. Low and behold she told me to wait. Here comes unmotivated help. Slumped shoulders no smiles not welcoming at all! The same guy that completely ignored me!! I said, " this can't be it! I drove 35 miles to the southwest location where there was friendly and welcoming faces and great customers service!!! It was just as clean! They gave a proper tour and showed me how to work every machine there! It's also a bar code on every machine. That's all he has to do is show me that small detail. Its so sad people are so detached in these type of businesses.

Las 4 estrellas no son ni por las instalaciones ni por el personal, ya que ellos son muy amables y las instalaciones súper padres, es por las personas que asisten a él. Hay solo 3 máquinas de extensión de piernas y 2 de prensa de muslo interno y 2 de externo (no sé si nombre exactamente) y la gente se queda ahí por hrs 😡 o sea, son series de 8, 12 y 15 con su peso progresivo, si no puedes hacerlo, tienes que modificar eso, no quedarse hrs viendo el celular y haciéndose menso para hacer esos ejercicios, si hacen 2 y tardan descansando 3 minutos ya no sirve 😡 y así varias máquinas más que los usuarios se adueñan😢

My favorite planet fitness. Place is very clean, everything is displayed very nice . ALOT of good equipment to work out. They also have tanning beds, wellness bed with aroma and media , water massage chairs, and red light therapy beds. I highly recommend joining the gym here . Black member ship is 20 bucks a month for everything. Go see the wonderful club manager Christina. Or the handsome fitness trainer Gustavo. Both will get you on point and going Corey and especially IRVIN!!! He is my favorite . Always making me laugh and has the best sense of humor. I need that after a hard day. They also allow me to bring my service dog Cinderella Great people!!

Very bad, I didn't like it at all because of the immature kids who hang around the JYM smoking in front of people. I have to cancel my membership because of the Summer Pass. There are so many immature kids.But besides that this jym is perfect, always clean, tidy and the staff is very friendly.

Didn't know anything like how to use the machines and I didn't know anyone got kinda overwhelm at first and have really bad social anxiety around lots of people but I talked to Gustavo someone who works there and he was very helpful started teaching me what to do and what to take for my workout he taught me and showed me how to use the machine equipment and I have been following a routine he taught me all throughout the year and a few months have passed working out this year January it's june now and I have lowkey seen some good improvements so far so if u need any help just ask them the trainers/workers that work there but mainly gustavo 💪

This place is always hot 😩.. The a/c is always broken or not working properly. During the summer due to the Summer pass for teenagers the parking lot is a mess. The rr are beyond stinky and toilet paper all over the floor. I tried to cancel my membership due to this summer pass situation but was being charged to cancel 🙄😮‍💨...I transferred to another location but I am seriously just thinking of camcelling the membership but ai have to pay 60 dollars just for cancelling. I will definetly not get a membership with them again just because of the summer pass its too crazy with a lot of immature teenagers PLZ take that into consideration if you are planning to get a membership here at PF and this location is always hot during the summer. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨I get head aches in a hot place like this 😩

I was sort of disappointed when I enrolled and found out that PT didn't offer aerobic classes or any thing of that nature. Once I got over that, I began to enjoy the atmosphere. And, they do have a trainer if you want or need one. Now I love going and try to go at least four times a week.

I love my mornings at Planet Fitness! The environment is always clean and positive. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere at 5 AM is peaceful and welcoming. There are many machines for different muscle groups. The gym floor is huge and there's plenty of room for when it's crowded. I like the different areas such as 30 min, abs & stretching, where the TRX is, cardio, machines, and the dumbbell area. Very cool to have so many options, especially when it's crowded and you have to change your initial workout plan. Plus the bathroom doesn’t smell lol.

Love it so far! We just joined the last week of 23 and now it’s been a full month. The gym is clean. There’s plenty of machines with a good variety of workouts to choose. The areas are pretty organized and you start to see a few regulars when you go. It’s a pretty spacious location. I’ve never seen it so full that I have to wait for a machine. I do wish it was open later on weekends but hopefully they’ll adjust that soon.

What i like about planet fitness is how kind and professional the staff is. For example Jimmy treviño. Jimmy treviño takes his time out of his day to not only be polite but to give you a friendly welcoming as soon as you walk inside the building. Everytime i go to the gym and jimmy is there i am given a confidence boost in my work out's because of his kind gestures towards his coworkers and the planet fitness community. I would give the planet fitness on east mount houston a 10/10 rating because of the staff members.

Edit: I'm not going to hurt anyone with the jump rope and I'm not going to let anyone take it. Politely that's bull. I know it's not necessarily y'all's choice but you can let planet fitness know that this policy is crumby. Also you can control how late you are open. Ever since me and my husband have gone there it’s been an issue.They apply the rules to the extreme to some and then act like they don’t see others. Like we have to make sure they see our pass but saw another guy and his friend come in and didn’t ask for anything! I can see the staff being the issue why people don’t want to keep coming to this location which sucks because it’s so close to home :/ hopeful that things change but even management isn’t the best! I prefer the one in Humble but it’s farther for me.
