If you don't care about taking a cold a
Shower or not having ANY plug for a blowdrier, etc in the bathroom, or don't mind the cleaning men to come into the women's bathroom at night without announcing themselves(while you're showering), then I suppose this P.F. off of Beechnut, is ok for you. And I HAVE TOLD THE STAFF for some time, about these issues. But NOTHING gets done about it! 😡
This wasn't AT ALL the way it was operated from 2023 to 2024! The only thing that I can figure this year is a new manager, unfortunately. 🥺
But the staff is nice. Oh well, sad it's one of the few 24/7 still locations around. So you're screwed if the others are closed...unless you want to travel elsewhere.

They are rude, not all of them but at least the ones I had yesterday the 10th around 12 in the morning, should be. If you throw them out, check the Cameras. If I, as a customer, am wrong, you can simply explain it in a polite, non-arrogant way. There are plenty of gyms. And I prefer to pay more and be well served. Because quality is worth it.

1. Low bass music in men locker room is so annoying. I have requested to low the volume . Feel very disturbing while taking a shower with high volume vibration especially at night time. I talked to the manager, the gym manager rejected and said the the volume is set as is.
2. At night time , the door is open for any one. Some people drunk from next door just walk in and I saw one guy stealing drinks from cooler. Please check your camera from last week from 12:00AM - 1:OOAM . I wish you could put the lock on the door , that way people scan to get in. Others would feel much safer especially at night.
Can you stop scan my eyes when I come in? I have told front desk staff couple times. No one cares also scan my eyes on purpose.
I need to see my eye doctor.

Edit: I update this review every few months. Guess what, nothing has changed. The restrooms are still a 3rd world country. The leg extension machine is always broke or someone running thier home office on it for an hour. You tell staff, no one cares. Signs all over "Please limit your time on machines". Employee refused to tell customer to move.

I drive 20 minutes to another location just to be able to use the equipment. I'm not going away, and I will keep complaining until it changes. It's all I can do.

Horrible experience. I was a member for 2+years and was harassed multiple times by men there. One video taping me without my knowledge. I also dropped my AirPods in the rr and when I returned only minutes later they were gone. I asked the front desk and no one had turned them in. Today was the last straw. I went to cancel my membership and the girl at the front desk was so rude. A red head girl she had an attitude soon as I walked in. I’m so disappointed in this planet fitness . I gave them my loyalty for 2 years and that’s the goodbye I get wow unbelievable.

This cleaning lady literally been a pain since I got there she gets in between ur workouts sesh and last time i had a issue with her she was throwing out the trash and she saw her bag was leaking and walk right over where i had my dumbbells and dirty them and she walk away like nothing and I told her “ are you gonna clean up where I’m working out she said “ I’m going “ she had took her sweet time cleaning until she got to me , today I had a issue I had went to the bathroom she was cleaning outside, every time I have to use the bathroom she goes in right behind then she starts cleaning the bathroom I was in a stall and I start recording I knew she was gonna mess with me and she put her vacuum under my stall and I confronted her and she saying “ I have to clean the bathrooms” I said “ okay but you can wait until I’m done in this stall and then she just started acting like she don’t know what I’m talking about and she’s always on her damn phone talking loud SHE NEED TO LEARN PERSONAL SPACE AND DONT GET IN THE WAY WHILE WORKING OUT

Muy mala atención por el personal de recepción, maltratan al cliente que paga su cuota, yo soy del extranjero, no puedo bajar la app, es el cuarto día que vengo y de los 4, 2 días me hicieron problemas para entrar, carecen totalmente de sentido común, se les explica y repiten una y otra vez lo mismo, la app? Hoy realmente me sentí súper mal, no quiero generalizar porque sería muy injusto, pero hoy se dirigió a mí una chica peli naranja que a pesar de decirle que no hablaba inglés no hizo lo posible de tratar de explicar las reglas que quería hacer cumplir, tenía una pequeña bolsa con mis utensilios para hacer ejercicios y sin darme una explicación de la política del gimnasio me dijeron no lo puedes tener, muy exigente para hacer cumplir sus normas, pero las duchas de mujeres hace un mes están tupidos los tragantes y el agua caliente sale cuando te estás terminando de duchar. I'm black card for 4yrs and this planet fitness is not the best in town, just big than most. Just the old price and contract has kept with them. Otherwise I would have switched from Sharptown location long ago. Currently just go to fondren and use as I like and have positive relations.

During peak times they have more than they can handle customers and no peak times the managing people are not working/cleaning and just standing chit chatting behind the reception.

1 star because, well they they treated me and the guest allowed on blackcard disrespectfully at the signing. Some new girl and the manager Chris were explaining the rules for using new policies, when u bring a guest and asked for amenities acces, the same way they give to new customers. Because guest genuinely shared interest to look through amenities.

They explained new management doesn't allow would like to enforce ,by not permitting amenities, wasted 10mins of my time argued about policies. Forgot he has a new customer awaiting and seeing how they treat!! Above all he asked me if I would like to cancel membership!?

4years I am paying for healthy body and mind and some poor services just decide to take away the peace.

Manage the once which you have first properly!! Get rid of untrained souls, who are just following a job without heart in it.

Used to always got to this gym and loved the members there. Switched to 24 hours, but recently got my membership at planet again for convenience. One day when we went to go work out and a buddy of mine had an expired membership we had this ginger named Carlee “help” us. Ever since that day she’s always had an attitude with us and giving dirty looks. When ever we’re speaking to another employee to distance any communication with her she always intervenes and give us less than what we ask for. Spoke to the manager and he didn’t address the situation, just called them sweet girls; when ever we asked for a name he said it’s up to her to give it to us even though it’s on their chest. After the incident when we were leaving her and her friend decides to yell “have a good day” with a snarky attitude. So much for a non-discrimination policy. Guess it’s time to find a new home gym.

It's a nice gym, but it's always packed. The staff isn't good either. Seems like it's run by children who don't want to work there and have better things to do on the clock. There were times when no one would be at the front for hours and the scanners didn't activate so I'd walk in and workout, only to get told I need to leave because I didn't check in.? Every gym is going to have people who try to press you for equipment because they have superiority complexes or whatever you want to call it but that's bad here. Ended up having to stop frequenting this gym because I had to defend myself after three men attempted to jump me in the bathroom, some guy and his buddies after the man guy tried to strong arm me off some equipment. I refused to get off a bench press I was actively using that was next to some girl with red hair who frequents the gym often, that I assumed he was trying to flirt with. He ended up threatening me with a knife and followed me to the parking lot, threatening to shoot me because they were on the losing side of a 1v3. Not worth it! It's right off beechnut as well, and there's tons of gang activity and shootings. It's honestly not even a remotely safe area. Not for the faint of heart, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it if you're worried about safety. Your car will probably be broken into. Your tires may get slashed, all depends on the type of crazy that's there.

The gym itself is great, however staff is horrible . For 2 days in a row I arrived at 7:15 am and no one was at the reception . First day I saw the boy who should be there walking away and never came back. Another team member helped me to purchase a bottle of water (which by the way is locked so needs assistance) . Second day I needed to wait 40 min till someone show up and allow me to buy a bottle of water . When finally a ginger girl showed up, I complained and with an arrogant look she said “stuff happens sometimes “ . Well looks like it has been happening A LOT . Definitely I think the owners should watch who they are offering a job because looks like this kids are not interested in working .

I just got my membership and I decided to use this location for the first time and I'm so disappointed in the staff guy who was working today in the night. He was so unpleasant to talk to and rude with a bad attitude. I understand he might have had a bad day or is exhausted from his work but he shouldn't treat customers like that. Besides that everything was okay. The vibe was alright everyone was minding their own business and it just felt confortable working out. But that front desk guy was just not it.

Can't beat the price. I have a membership at 24 hrs fitness also, and the machines here are kept in much better condition and the gym is way cleaner than 24. The only problem I have is they play the music WAY too loud. I can never listen to my own music. I'm sure these irks everyone else because 85 pct of gym members wear headphones and the music is blasting. That's the only thing g 24 has over them. 24 never plays their music loud. It's always discreetly in the background.

I'm giving 1 star because of the service( the gym has some issues too, but I wouldn't pay attention to it because of the price). The person at the front desk showed no respect, she had zero desire to be helpful, and had a bad attitude. If you want to keep your business thriving, you should really pay attention to how your front desk staff communicates with customers.
