This location is something else. I canceled my membership over 7 months ago to still be getting charged after I cancelled it. Johnathan asked did you get a confirmation number no I didn’t. Even after speaking with you I have yet to get a confirmation number. Johnathan has yet to contact me back it’s been over a week. I been calling he’s never available. I sent emails still no response. Planet Fitness has been known for being open 24 hrs. I joined under the assumption that this is the case at all locations. I have to drive 20 minutes away from my house when there is one 3 minutes away and they won’t let me cancel my membership. I don’t know why gyms make it so difficult to cancel. It is a person right to not be held to something they don’t want especially when I wasn’t informed that this facility was not 24 hours. If it’s because of the area that’s not my fault.

Great gym and staff has been friendly and helpful whenever i go in. the only issue is with the dudes that have been camping out in their vehicles on the side of the building (old black truck and grey car). have been there for months now and i've been and seen others harassed. not sure if anything can be done since it's public parking but they are a concern.

Hidro 7 has excellent pressure. Massage chairs are wide. It must be a 5 gallon heater that runs out of water in the winter. Nice and cold in the summer. Lots of crazy 🥷 day and night.

Every time im here and dre is working, its always clean. I see him constantly walking the floor to make sure there aren't any dirty paper towels anywhere and that the paper towels are stocked as well as the sprays. It used to be kinda dirty here, but I've noticed a huge improvement 😊

So I went to this location about a week and a half ago to sign up for a new membership on a Wednesday.
One of the staff members behind the checkout counter advised me that it would be better to come back on Friday because it would save me money.
Well I returned today only to be told that everything is done online and they are not sure why I was told to come back.

Disappointed with the Facility Conditions

I visited this Planet Fitness location this morning and was really disappointed with the overall condition of the gym. The lighting was poor—several bulbs were out, and many areas were dimly lit, which created an uncomfortable workout environment.

The dumbbell racks are too close to the Smith machines, leaving little space to move around safely. On top of that, the cable crossover machines are missing the adjustment covers, leaving exposed screws where your hands go—this is not only inconvenient but a safety hazard.

The floors were dirty with water spots scattered throughout, and weights were left unorganized, some so worn that you can’t even read the size markings. Many machines have peeling stickers or other signs of neglect.

A simple walkthrough by management would easily reveal these issues. It’s clear that maintenance and cleanliness are not being prioritized, which is disappointing for a gym that’s supposed to promote health and wellness.

Smaller Planet Fitness than other locations with a bit less equipment, but still plenty to have a good workout. The interior workout floor is very dusty, but the restrooms are clean. Parking is shared with the other businesses in the shopping strip. The interior is warmer than it should, the management is cheap with the A/C.

Horrible experience when it comes to transferring the membership from one location to another location, as it did give me the option to cancel the membership easily, but transferring it online is almost impossible, and the home club management doesn't wanna help me out over the phone or in person they keep on telling me i need to come at the morning time or on specific day manager is not available to make it happen just excuses thats all i face everytime i try to talk with them.

I started going to this gym early this year which was great, equipment great, dang how it was clean, cleaning supplies including paper towels always available but now, dirty, equipment torn, people always looking to find where paper towels are and some sort of cleaning spray bottle, just asked the employee here, can I get we get some paper towel… I’m the only one here go look for some out there, seriously dude, just give me the roll and I’ll figure out how to install it for the rest of us, if anything, ill leave it out, he seemed to be noted worried about talking in the phone and eating his sandwich which I noticed has been a common theme from the same employee around the time I get here between 8 to 1030ish… this place is going down hill and it started off so great a few months ago

It went from bad to worse,been coming to this location for more than 10 years,over the last two years from a 5 star to 2 star gym,staff is horrible,Do not interrupt them when they chit chattin,cause they make sure you notice they been interrupted, most of the spa machines are broken,just today I got denied the hydrobed,me without knowing or an email notification that 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday night,they not available anymore,so now that isn't a 24/7 location anymore which they close at 9pm on the weekends you get denied the spa equipment when the gym is almost empty........too bad this location got horrible...oh and mention men's restroom urinal be flooding every now and then,no one cares,you walk in there and you be stepping on pee(disgusting)...

If you respect yourself even a little bit don’t ever go to that place. All car got robed on the parking, and of course police doing nothing about it no video cameras or anything. Thieves just broke window in my car and stole everything I had there. I couldn’t see what they were doing through the windows. But it looks like they were just passing by on the track, they were just very slow.

I’ve been coming to the planet fitness located in 310 FM 1960 Rd W Houston, TX 77090 United States For 6 Months will 10/10 Recommend to anyone , I was helped signing up by one of the employers named Faith, she mannerly assisted me while still helping other get by making sure everyone was good coming in and relinquished those leaving. She also helped me upgrade my card from Basic to Black Plus showing me all the benefits and privileges we get as a black card member using her amazing greeting and sales representative skills.

I’ve been at the Westfield location for almost 2 years now and the weights aren’t the only thing that keeps me coming. The staff have made one of the best parts about trying to lose these love handles walking past the front desk. Not only do they give brief words of encouragement walking through the gym keeping it sanitary and stocked with paper towels for heavy sweaters like me, but they remember names and seemingly build an interpersonal relationship with the regulars. Even at times connecting me with people to work out with. I have to give a big shoutout toto LaFaith at the front desk for being the reason I’d even take the time to leave a review for a PF, but I’ve witnessed her be a great, employee, gym rat, and friend. This place wouldn’t be the same without her. 10/10.

On Monday, February 17, 2025, I used the showers for the first time and noticed that the curtain and walls were moldy, and there was no hot water at all. Additionally, the changing cubicle had not been swept and appeared unclean. I hope the management addresses these issues, as they could pose health risks, particularly for individuals with health conditions.

I also observed that the bathrooms are not cleaned regularly, and on two occasions, the toilet paper was not stocked.

The airbags in the massage chairs are in poor condition, and chair #2 is broken—it makes a loud noise when in use and kicks.

Aside from the bathroom issues, the rest of the club is clean, and most of the staff are friendly.

I hope the club manager finds this feedback helpful and takes these issues into consideration for improvements, leading to better reviews.

I’ve been coming to Planet Fitness on Cypress Creek Parkway for a while now, and I have to say, the lack of customer service is baffling. Most of the staff at the front desk completely ignore guests, both when walking in and when leaving. No greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing. It’s as if customers don’t even exist.

That being said, I have to give credit where it’s due, Jay and Jase are the only two staff members who consistently greet me with a “Good morning,” “Welcome in,” or a simple “Have a good day.” They actually look up from the desk and acknowledge members, and make the gym feel at least a little bit welcoming. But beyond them? It’s a different story.

One staff members, the one with pink hair, doesn’t just ignore me but also ignores other guests!! Watching her blatantly disregard people at the front desk is frustrating and honestly just unprofessional. It’s one thing to be busy, but it’s another to actively avoid acknowledging paying members.

I understand that Planet Fitness isn’t exactly a luxury gym, but basic customer service shouldn’t be too much to ask for. A simple “Hello” or “Have a good workout” goes a long way in making members feel valued. Ignoring guests especially when the gym isn’t even busy is just rude!

I’d love to see some improvement in the way staff interact with members. If it weren’t for Jay and Jase, I’d probably be looking elsewhere. Management really needs to step in and remind the team that customer service matters. @PlanetFitnessCypressCreekParkway, do better.

MOST TERRIBLE GYM EVER. I was targeted for being Mexican. I was working out without my shoes and front desk told me to put them on. I told her I have a bruise on my toe. She said I have to leave but I can come back another tomorrow. I asked for the managers information and I told the other dude with glasses "I didn't like the way y'all treated me yesterday" a day prior 2 female employees came charging at me into the locker room. They could've waited until I was outside the locker room. They said I needed to scan. I scanned. I left and came back. Didn't even take 15 minutes when I came back. They assumed I said something racist and said I needed to leave saying "what do you mean you people" I SAID NOR MENTIONED ANYTHING RACIST. I was in the stairmaster on the far left. Away from the front desk. I was targeted. I left and the tall black women with the bull nose ring followed me outside IN HER CAR!! TERRIBLE STAFF. I was going to TruFit and had to cancel because they don't have that gym here. I was a member of PF for YEARS. I cancelled because it's terrible. I gave them another shot when I moved to Houston but I sadly will be cancelling my membership again. I went to another location and asked about the shoes the lady had said "someone may tell you something to put them on but it's not a call to be kicked out." Do better PF. DO better. You get paid $10 - maybe $12 an hour. No reason to act like to police have 2 front desk following to the locker room then another one IN HER CAR. No ones supposed to leave the front desk. There's not supposed to be more than 2 people at the front. If there's 2 one should be in front the other should be cleaning. This location is FILTHY. Trashcan always full. Never any paper towels. THIS GYM IS RACIST

A male went into a women's bathroom. Not 1 but 2 front desk ladies ran after me into the locker room just to tell me I need to scam. I scanned less than 30 minutes prior. Maybe 10-15 before. I agreed on a new membership price of $12.54 from Kat but when I saw my bank statement they took out $27 and some change. I've called many times for help about the situation and nobody has helped me. Cat has not responded to me or called me back for updates on my account and it's getting to the point, I feel like this won't ever be resolved. Also I was supposed to get a refund on the $27 and some change but I still have not received that either. Please reach out to me to fix this because it's been over 2 weeks of no help.

For you readers, this is a fitness center with equipment to meet "your general fitness needs". Its not a Cross fit type gym, it's not a boxer's gym, and it may not meet the Hulk's needs. I've tried other gyms/ centers in the area because of the classes & other amenities offered, but found my way back because its clean (and there are plenty of sanitizing spray stations if something is not clean to my liking). Its also spacious so you can move around comfortably. I'm a young lady and I feel comfortable here.

Also knows how to maintain his professionalism when guests are being rude as hell. An Asian guy walked up to him slapping his hands telling him what he needed as if he was some type of animal. Ive had a PF membership at least 5+ yrs. I like that it's 24hrs and so many locations to choose from. This particular PF is kinda small which is fine the only problem is because there are only a few bench press machines, they should have a phone limit half the people just sit on the benches for hours on the phone wasting time and space for those of us who come to work out and leave.

I like it, not really a gym person but decided to try it cause it was cheap. The staff is friendly and smiling when I come, the music is okay (doesn't really matter I have Google play and download my song list before coming to the gym so data or WiFi issues won't mess with my workout flow). The people who workout there are also friendly and will help you too. There are treadmills any time I go even when it is super busy. And no one really uses the ab area so that's a plus for me. I normally workout at home (T25 and running in my neighborhood) but like the option if it is too hot or cold outside I can hit the gym and run. Only thing is I wish I could use the hydromassage on the lower membership, I would pay to use it everyone once in awhile separately if it was an option. They could also make it as an incentive to come to the gym more (every 5 days straight you go to the gym get one free use of the hydromassage)! Lol :)

I like the location because it is so close to home but the music is always TOO LOUD. You can barely hear your music in your headphones. I visit other planet fitness locations around Houston and their music is more background but when you come into this location on 1960 it literally sounds like the club.
