I travel often for work and have been to all kinds of gyms (different Planet Fitness locations, Crunch, local spots, etc). The reality is, it’s not always easy to stay consistent when you’re constantly getting used to new gyms—it can feel uncomfortable at times.

That said, this gym really stood out to me. The layout was amazing—there’s a separate area for squat racks (not right in front of everyone), a separate weights section, and overall everything is designed so thoughtfully. It gave me the comfort and privacy I needed to stay on my normal routine, and I ended up going every single day I was in town. Honestly, I already miss it now that I’m back home!

On top of that, the morning staff was always kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this gym, especially for anyone just starting their fitness journey—you’ll feel more comfortable here than most places.

WHY IS THE AC ALWAYS ON 75 OR HIGHER? Other locations are not a sweat box. They added more equipment but it's tightly packed in. The removed some key pieces and added some lifting spaces. I enjoy the lifting spaces, hate holding hands with someone on the machine across from me on the floor due to how tight it is in here. And it's always pretty packed. I'm hoping after eos opens it'll thin out a bit. Or I may just have to drive the extra 20 mins to a bigger location. They just did a revamp but they still have broken machinery. And other locations are cleaner. Definitely room for improvement PF.

This gym is the worst the women of the resection don't even attend you they gave me an annual plan and I paid for it for me and for my husband and every month they discounted me up to 27 dollars until the last month that I already went and I tired them because they got 80 dollars and I went to get an explanation and they didn't even want to attend to me it's a scam a shame because it's supposed that if you pay an annual plan they shouldn't charge you more scammers

The machines are so close to each other and so crowded I couldn’t even walk through or wanted to use the machine. I’m talking shoulder to shoulder. I’ve never seen that before.. doesn’t seem sanitary. Walked in, walked right out. At least new machine placement. I’m talking so close you could hold hands with no issues

I would suggest avoiding this gym if at all possible. It was recently renovated, they took out many of the pieces of equipment that are used regularly and in high demand, and now that another location is under remodel, there is never a time that I have been able to go and find the pieces of equipment open that I routinely use. I am flexible and have tried at many different times, and routinely every piece of equipment is in use at the same time. In addition, they allow teenagers in for free who routinely congregate around pieces of popular equipment and all take turns leaving the piece of equipment unavailable for sometimes up to 20 minutes. it's Very frustrating as i've been using this gym since it opened. Hopefully it will get better after the other gym is renovated.

Planet Fitness is an amazing value. Whether you’re an avid gym-goer or completely new, it’s a great gym. It has all of the equipment most average people need as well as instructions for newer people. The Black Card has lots of extras amenities that are borderline stealing because of the insane value. It is absolutely worth the few extra dollars. Tanning alone saves me $75 a month! A guest pass at my previous gym is $15 which would be nearly the same price as a month of PF membership. The staff are always welcoming and kind. I’d give it a 9/10 with the only thing holding me back from 10/10 is not having a sauna, but that’s a small trade-off for the value and convenience.

**Planet Fitness Copperfield: Where Gym Dreams Go to Die (and Bags Are Public Enemy #1)**

Planet Fitness Copperfield is easily one of the worst gyms I’ve ever set foot in. Every visit here is an exercise in patience, not fitness. Right off the bat, the atmosphere is suffocating, dominated by a “Karen”-like manager Lauren who’s on a power trip, enforcing pointless rules with zero consistency. I brought a tiny bag onto the floor—a bag barely big enough to hold my keys and wallet—and suddenly, I’m getting the third degree about “gym policy.” Meanwhile, a guy nearby with a duffel big enough to pack for a vacation goes completely ignored. Rules for some and not for others—classic.

And don’t get me started on their “solutions.” I’m told I can either leave my stuff in my car (great idea with the break-ins around here), bring a lock (because everyone just has one lying around), or hand it to the front desk staff—who are so busy glued to their phones, they probably wouldn’t even notice if my stuff grew legs and walked off. This is customer service? More like customer disregard.

To top it off, I made the mistake of bringing a friend from out of town. I’ve spent months talking up this “Judgement-Free Zone,” only to end up with an environment so hostile, she left thinking Planet Fitness was running some sort of social experiment to see how much awkward, negative energy people can stand. And after today, I’m right there with her. It’s like they went out of their way to make us uncomfortable.

“Judgement-Free Zone” is apparently code for “don’t bother trying to please or take care of gym members.”

Bottom line: this place is a joke. They’re obsessed with petty rules and mindless enforcement, and I’m over it. If I wanted to be treated like I’m in detention, I’d go back to high school. Planet Fitness Copperfield, enjoy your empty gym—looks like EOS across the street is about to get a whole lot of new members. I’ve been paying and coming here years, not anymore.

Love this place, the staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Almost every time my girls and I are there, Aaliyah is there with a smile and gives us a warm welcome. We have truly enjoyed being there for the summertime. The Gym always looks clean and organized. The cleaning stations are always stock.
