Been going to this gym for 4 days and on the fourth day gonna tell my membership don't allow me to go here. There nothing they can do I have to the other location. I'll just cancel and see on the gym at my new apartment is. Also under the amenities for it I have access to any planet fit worldwide so why I was turn down because of membership again made no sense.

3 different times i came to this location and everytime i go to the gym i buy a red gatorade at the front. 3 different times i came they told me that their payments machine wasn’t working so i couldn’t get one. Also, one time i forgot my hair tie at home and the girl/ guy in the front was braiding his/ her hair (which is pretty un professional to do at the front desk while on the clock anyways) and had a big clear bag full of hair clips and ties sitting on the front desk so I asked that person if i could borrow one of the many they had and they said no so i said ok and was about to walk away and then the person added without being prompted to “it’s mine and i don’t want to”. real friendly staff.

Shoutout to TEARA (Assistant Manager)! I have to leave this review because I have been searching for a way to unfortunately cancel my membership due to some life changes coming up. I have visited about 2 or 3 different clubs closer to me inquiring about canceling, and they all let me know they had no idea how to do it unless I physically went to this specific club that I do not have access to get to. I called and had the PLEASURE to speak to TEARA who literally just saved me the pain of dealing with these pesky auto drafts. She walked me through the entire process of being able to cancel through the app, and I was able to get everything officially handled. PLEASE, if you are the manager, give this woman a shoutout, let her tell all of Planet Fitness how amazing and professional she is. Thank you Teara, and thank you PF for the good run. <3

Love the atmosphere at the gym. It is normally clean and the staff is helpful. Can get a bit busy but otherwise awesome. I have had billing issues because they would not take payment from my bank and then I was continuously charged a late fee even though it was not my fault Chime wasn't recognized for a while as a payment method. Seems to be working fine now since I removed my credit card.

My issue with planet fitness is not just with this one building this location have to my favorite cause of the people that work here but planet fitness as a whole seems like they don’t actually clean the showers just spray the walls cleaner and rinse it off and call it clean the curtains have the same stains like it’s never been clean and the walls in the showers and I’ve been to most in Houston to see it’s all over Houston

It generally a clean spacious gym and the improvements are substantial however with their summer pass more younger people are attending which is good from a fitness perspective. Most of them come in groups and don’t understand gym etiquette like sitting on your phone at a gym station, taking over half an hour at a station(1 person) or taking the free weights all over the gym instead of using them where they are.or even bring them back. Planet Fitness should limit the hours of those passes so we can choose when to be there.

Everyone is nice there but no one has the ability to do anything... Ive tried at least 3 times going in person to my club to change to a new location over the past few years and absolutely not a single manager is able to help me transfer.

The website errors and the managers just say they will contact IT and NO ONE responds. I cant even cancel my account because the same error happens on their system and the website. This is rediculous and the worst customer service from a company since Comcast.

If I could give a zero-star rating, I absolutely would! My experience at the PF North Oaks location has been nothing short of atrocious and incredibly off-putting. My husband and I have been working out at this gym for quite some time, but over the past several months, we have been repeatedly singled out and harassed simply for working out. My husband uses a secluded area of the gym for jump roping as part of his cardio routine, always mindful of both his safety and that of other guests. However, Yesibel, Laura, and Pedro have repeatedly told him that jump roping is not allowed. After reviewing the club policies ourselves and confirming with corporate, we found no rule prohibiting jump roping.

The club manager, Yesibel, along with employees Laura and Pedro, have treated my guest and I with outright rudeness and hostility. It’s clear that they enforce club policies inconsistently, targeting us while allowing other members to do as they please. Their behavior has created a hostile environment not only for us but for other guests and members as well.

Due to this blatant and unfair targeting, we have formally submitted a complaint to the corporate office. We have spoken directly with the corporate office and demand that the location owner contact us to discuss this matter further. The investigation is currently ongoing.

This is by far my favorite location.. I will pass other locations just to make sure that I come here. The staff is beyond friendly, and it is always an amazing experience when I go there. The facility is always in tip top shape and very clean, which I love! They always greet you when you arrive and say bye when you leave with smiling faces. They really get to know you. It's always great having conversations with them.. The individuals that I come in contact with the most that really make that gym feel like home are Yesibel, Mike, Teara, Anthony, Dani, and Laura. I like the facility which is always clean, and the equipment is well maintained. All of the cleaning stations are well supplied with disinfecting cleaner and paper towels which is routinely checked and refilled if needed. The staff is always cheerful and friendly and greets us when we come in for our workout.

My wife even looks forward to coming to PF for her workout with me because the location is so clean and has a calm atmosphere.

This place is awesome. I love coming here. I especially love that you don’t have to clean up after anyone. It’s the rule that you clean the equipment after you use it. The staff is always friendly and willing to assist if you have any questions or concerns. They were always cleaning and as of lately I’ve seen a cleaning crew cleaning. So they stay on top of their game. Don’t spend a lot of money and you have access to a clean facility that is cared for with friendly staff. What more do you want in a gym? We love it here.

Club is overall nice. Staff was amazing Abigail greeted me with a huge smile. I went in looking for a day pass just because my previous gyms lights went out. I ended up receiving a tour from Abigail, Abigail was so informative and answered all of my questions. Abigail even showed me the black card amenities and I was amazed I am glad I was able to get a black card with Abigail and appreciate her hospitality and making the whole process easy for me.

I have been to this gym a few times even though it’s not my “home” gym. This is a great location. The staff is really awesome. I learned something new today. You don’t need the Black membership to go to another location if you have the classic membership. They have a “franchise fee” where they charge you $5 to use any other gym that’s convenient for you. I can go on and on about planet fitness! I feel like planet fitness has changed my life so much! To start with my fitness journey was something that I didn’t take seriously at first! I was very nervous in the gym a lot and I felt like I couldn’t compare to people. I didn’t belong there.! But the truth is I found out that everybody gets nervous when they go in the gym no matter how long they have been there. I just joint this past Saturday. Today I was told that I couldn’t have my gym bag with me that I had to place it in a locker in the Men’s restroom. Then the Manager asked me for my name because she was going to put a note in my account. I felt like I was in school again. They should be more worried about the situation with people socializing instead of working out. I had to wait 30 minutes for an equipment so I could do my work out because instead of working out they were talking. I’m totally disappointed at this place. The staff should worry more about those people than my bag on the floor. The excuse was “it’s a trip hazard “ really!!! 👎. This people forget that because of us they have a JOB. This no bag on the floor needs to stop.

Well today the manager cancel my membership because I didn’t want to place my bag in a locker. She said that is the policy o well there is more Gyms that I can take my business too. Planet fitness is not all that,specialty when I have to go and wait for equipment or hunt for weights. So sad that because of my gym bag she had to cancel my membership. But she maid it look like it was me that cancel it. The only thing that I am concerned is that there are other people that have a gym bag and the staff don’t tell them anything because they know that person. I well it is what it is!!! Large parking lot but it's shared with other businesses on the shopping strip so parking is not always ideal. The interior of the gym is decently large with a good amount of equipment but the equipment is older than other PF locations and is visibly worn. The staff at the front desk does not acknowledge or greet members upon arrival, they rather talk & joke amongst themselves. The interior is clear of clutter debris but the equipment is not always wiped down by members after use. During the summer the A/C keeps the inside cool, other PF locations are sometimes cheap with their a/c and rely mostly on the fans.

man keeps walking in shower area while I’m in here!!! Every time I come in this location this man has a horrible attitude and is constantly profiling me as homeless. This gym is horrible beyond horrible. People come and go as they please . There are fights in the club . The bathrooms are always dirty . The manager is rude and avoids customers. There is drug activity outside. Homeless people hanging outside the facility. They had an old African American male as the manager he kept the facility in safe environment. They are really nice at the front desk. Everyone has on headphones and is in their own world working out. It's super clean with like 20 tvs on different channels to watch for everyone while on the treadmills and ellipticals. They give out stickers instead of tootsie rolls since Covid. Open 24 hrs. They play the coolest music if you do forget your headphones! 🎶There are huge positive signs everywhere telling you that you belong. I've found home. *No kids under age 13*

Planet Fitness promotes itself on being an affordable gym. $10 monthly for membership fee is great but then 1 month after joining they will charge you their yearly membership fee of $50. It does say it in the contract that they will charge this , I just don’t like how they charge you pretty early on. I was also charged $15 late fee from planet fitness for insufficient funds. This is an issue on the gyms not mine. My information was correct as I had a credit card listed that was no where near the spending limit. They were able to charge it the second time but per their terms every attempt is $15. So I called the gym asking if they could refund me the money as they were able to charge me. But one rude male employee said there was nothing they could do and the manager would agree. So then I call again and manager Brittany answers. She seems very nice and reasonable saying how it’s not my fault and she would get it refunded right away. I gave the benefit of the doubt and wait 3-5 business days and nothing new in my account. So then I call again and ask to speak to the manager but she was “on break”. So I call again the next day and she’s on break again at this point it’s pretty obvious she’s not on break. The employee asks for my name and number and I never hear back from them. Another issue I have with the gym is the lack of equipment , on busy days like Monday and Friday the gym is packed and you don’t really get a chance to use anything. I believe it’s this planet fitness in particular I do not like as I haven’t had billing issue like this before. The lack of equipment has always been an issue no matter which location. Overall I would never recommend to sign up here. There are better locally owned gyms around .

On Tuesday night I had an accident where this guy kept asking me questions then followed me home for 15 minutes before being able to loose him. The next day I went to bring this up to the gyms attention and was told to leave information down and that the manager, Yesibel, would call back to ask for more information and doing a follow up, Yesibel never called me back. I called today and she didn’t ask me any questions, only told me that they have no cameras outside and that they were unable to find anyone with the description I left, but seeing as he was right next to me the last 10 minutes of my workout and left at the same time I did, I find that very hard to believe, seems like they didn’t even bother taking a look at the footage. I might not be the only person he does this to, and because the gym won’t do anything about this I wanted to write this review to let woman know that there is a man in his early 20s, Hispanic/white, with dark brown curly hair, about 5’9 that could do this to someone else. Please be careful and aware of your surroundings.

This gym is not a great place to workout especially if your a women. my best friend got followed by a man on her way back home. he began to talk to her, asking her a lot of questions inside the gym and proceeded to follow her in his car. this is a very unsafe experience and the staff did nothing to better the situation. they don’t have cameras outside! they didn’t bother to even look at the inside cameras so this man is probably still going to this gym and trying to follow other young women home. please be careful, i suggest to not even get a membership here!!

This place is a joke.Two days ago my niece was followed by a creep from inside the gym to her home and they did NOTHING!! We ask for them to look into surveillance video and they could not find anyone that fit that description and apparently they do not have camera's outside!?!? It is obvious they don't care about their customers safety!!!!

Edit : replying to management, if this is the case WHY NONE of who complained about it NEVER edited their review? So dude stop lying. There is a very large amount of ppl complaining about you STEALING, and none edited their review or told us that guys they do have canceled and refunded my STOLEN money. You get what you deserve. Again ppl be careful, this is a nightmare.
