We were members for over two years. Last week we canceled our membership and joined crunch fitness. They remodeled the place and took out all of the equipment that we used on a regular basis. They brought in some new equipment in made it so crowded you could not even walk through the gym. Although they tell you it is a company store it is a franchise and a very poorly run one at that

This club is over ran with school kids that take over the equipment. It’s uncomfortable to workout with such crowded areas. There should be a designated time for the kids to come an exercise for free. Planet fitness should note that the adults are paying customers that can’t access the equipment. Also I can’t cancel my membership online which is the way I signed up, You have to write a letter stating you no longer want be a member. It’s just too much of a hassle dealing with this club and employees.

Phenomenal customer service. I'm visiting and am from outta town. I need a couple of days' pass. The attendant at the desk (I think her name was Nicole) got me signed up for a day pass in no time at all!
Equipment is well maintained. It's a bit crowded during peak hours, but which gym isn't. I had no problem in swapping workouts without waiting on equipment.

Black Card Members don’t need to be reminded that they are not at “their club” since black card members have access to every single club in the nation, when your staff members say your not at your club I suggest you refrain yourself from saying that because it does make members feel unwelcome when they visit other clubs you can say “home club” instead of oh this isn’t your club.

I just signed up for the Gym, but the guy in the front desk ( Jeffrey S.) I don’t have any personal issue with him, he was really rude, when I was asking him about anything or signing up. To me it looked like he wasn’t interested in his Job. I request the @planet fitness team if somebody is not talking to customer or being rude with customer you should not hire them. I have worked in customer service, but my Job was to assist them and answer any concerns. When I came to ( Jeffrey S) he moved away even didn’t bother himself to talk to me and called her colleague to talk to me. Wow this is so disturbing and disrespectful.

The workers are extremely rude and are selective on who to enforce the rules on, they told me to put away my string bag but others had tote bags and duffels. The equipment is also very rusty and doesn’t work. I wouldn’t recommend even for the free summer pass.

So far, so good!!! I love the Spa Massage! The equipment is plentiful, so there is hardly ever a long wait . Staff has been amazingly kind and professional. My only complaint would be the AC. It gets really warm at the Highway 6 location. Which makes it extremely uncomfortable to workout or relax in the VIP. Summer is approaching! Please fix this. We don't need to burn up outside and inside. Thanks!

ALWAYS busy... If people would use the machines and get up it may be different, but they seem to like to camp out on these machines. Forget trying to bench or squat... I think I saw a tent and a campfire 😒

The only time the staff cares to talk to you is when you got membership card payment issues; and then they hit you with a $15 late charge fee so they basically charged me an extra month and a half for me being 3 days late on my payment… suffice to say once my membership ends I will not be coming back for a while…

Beware!!! Theft problems at Planet Fitness

On 12/12/2023, I went to work out at Planet Fitness on Highway 6 & Bellaire. My wallet was stolen from a locked locker. This also happened to 4 other gentleman. I reported the incident to the staff and manager. Then, I went to the sheriff office to make a police report.

Today 12/13/2023, I went back to talk to the same manager and asked what will be done to make sure that this sort of thing will not happen again. His answer was basically, NOTHING. What worse, he does not seem to care. Yesterday when during the time period that this happened, he was entertaing a visitor instead of paying attention to who's entering his facility. I've also noticied, for sometime now, that staff in the front doesn't really pay attention either. Thus, anybody can walk in and do as they please. And unfortunately, somebody became crime victims for their carelessness.

I no longer live in Houston and I’ve been trying to cancel my membership I’ve called customer service, sent an email and still getting the run around. I called today and was told no manager will be in until NEXT WEEK. What business doesn’t have a manager or assistant manager on site for a week? I wanted to at least try to work something out to possibly keep the membership but not anymore! This is a very nice and clean facility I can say that. I just don’t like how they operate communication wise.
