A good gym that is clean and well maintained . They have a 30 minute express workout section with 30 stations that is designed to be a full body circuit workout in 30 minutes, but unfortunately the management allows people not doing the circuit to squat on the machines in this area which means you can rarely compete the workout as designed. They fail to train the membership that the machines in that area should not be used for more than 1 mile mute at a time

The guy very happily gives me sticky notes and takes my information down. An hour passes..... 2 hours pass (Past 12 pm), no call returned. I call them and I am told he is out for lunch. Uhuh!

Should a manager be taking his lunch for 2 hours straight? I want a job like that man :) I would sooooo love to have a job where I get paid for eating lunch for 120 minutes straight wow....

They never return your calls. You walk in, you leave your number, you call them MULTIPLE times but to no avail. Wow..... are these your employees afraid of a customer asking for the manager Jonas??? Every one of your employees is a complete liar lemme tell you. You don't discipline them much dude now do you?? What kind of a manager are you buddy :) Planet Fitness is a franchise and so every other owner runs them the way they wanna run it. This particular location deserves the sub-standardest Planet Fitness award. Complete lack of customer skills. The only reason I was interested in this location was its closeness to work. You just lost 2 Black Card members bro. Me AND my roommate. We are taking our business elsewhere.

Please stay away from this location.

I've been going to this Planet Fitness for about a couple months and to be honest, it's been a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it's a convenient place to get a workout in, but on the other hand, there are some serious issues that need to be addressed.

First of all, the cleanliness of the gym is pretty lacking. Machines aren't wiped down after use, and the sweat and stench that lingers can be pretty overwhelming. The men's locker room is especially bad - it's like a toxic wasteland in there. And don't even get me started on the people who vape and smoke in the locker room. It's disgusting.

Another thing that's pretty frustrating is the way people treat the equipment. I've seen people drop weights like they're going out of style, and it doesn't seem like the staff cares. The noise is loud, and it's just a matter of time before something breaks. ( Which cables and machines have been put out of order signs on multiple times because of it. ) And when I see weights just lying around on the floor, I take it upon myself to pick them up and put them back where they belong. I mean, come on, can you at least enforce some common manners?

And I’ve seen employees or managers call people out for some pretty small thing like what they wear like beaters, crocs, and muscle shirts honestly, it seems like a pretty minor infraction compared to some of the other stuff that's going on in the gym. I mean, if they're really concerned about safety, maybe they should focus on the people who are dropping weights and damaging equipment, which could lead to other members getting injured.

Great, budget-friendly gym. Always receive a friendly greeting on my way in and thanked for visiting on my way out. Staff frequently walk the floor to wipe down equipment and keep things clean. Membership is mostly responsible, professional adults, there to work out rather than idly occupy benches and machines.

Equipment is somewhat limited — not the best option if you need an olympic squat rack and weirdly limited range of motion on some of the machines (at 6', 190lbs I have to have my thighs touching for the dips/triceps press) but for the price and flexibility of membership terms, can't do much better.

The Greater Heights staff are all so friendly and helpful. Jorge has excellent group fitness classes that are challenging but allows us to go with our comfort level. This gym is incredibly clean, doesn’t get too packed (especially not during lunch—I love it) and the staff members are constantly/visually seen maintaining the equips, which is probably why I have yet to see a piece of broken equipment. Love this gym! 100000x better than the gym I was at previously *coughcoughEOScoughcough*

Let me start by saying that my prior gyms were O Athletic and Equinox so the bar was set high. After a year or so of working out at home i decided to join an actual gym again, and wanted something more on the affordable side. I went to PF for a tour and was pleased with what i saw. The facility is very clean and neat. Most people are here to do their workout and not to chat, which i love. Chris who was in the front desk, was very helpful, gave me a tour, and helped me with all my questions. After seeing everything they offer in the secluded area for black card members (tanning beds, massage chair, hydro massage) i decided this was going to be my home gym. I do workout at non busy hours (mid morning) so I can’t tell how good or bad things are at rush hour. Im very pleased so far!

I was having a really difficult time with my membership. I needed to cancel and I spoke to the new manager. He explained the rules, how it worked and it upset me. He calmed me down, went the extra effort and took a strong look at my circumstances. He recognized the difficult position I was in, empathized, and despite me not being on my best game patience was - he handled things so well. Overall, he was able to make what I needed happen, and it really impressed me how capable he was. Amazing professional. PF is lucky to have him.

My husband and I recently moved from Waco, TX, to Houston, TX, and I decided to visit my local Planet Fitness in Houston. I was having some trouble checking in, but the manager was incredibly helpful and got me in with no hassle! He also informed me about their new services, including Red Light therapy and massage chairs. I was hooked from the start! The facilities are fantastic, and the customer service is top-notch. yeah, you may claim you are not responsible, but if it keeps happening over and over, just saying that as a public response is concerning. while you are 'not responsible' what are you doing to help people out? do you have cameras of the parking lot to help your customers with their police reports? to deter the break-ins? are you doing anything at all to help customers feel safe as you claim you want? saying, we aren't responsible tells people you don't care. if you feel the need to say, we aren't responsible, the answer should at least be, 'we are not responsible, however, this is what we are doing to try to help people out.' what are you doing? are you asking for extra patrols? have you communicated with LE to see what can be done? do you at least have cameras to deter? just making sure we all know you are absolving yourself of all liability?

Got my car broken into at this location, in broad day light. My guess is these people were watching, bc the timing was perfect. Car was locked and there was nothing to steal. So…. Don’t go here…. Strong value buy, but poor business practices
Pros: Plenty of equipment, that is kept much better condition than LA Fitness, but they seem to have forgotten how to open a membership

Cons: You go to a location, to open a new membership, and the person at the desk won't process a new membership. You must do that on the app. (So why do you need a person at the desk, at all? Just get a security guard and call it a day. Put in vending machines for the drinks. You need the app to scan into the gym,)

And you cannot pay with your debit or credit card. You must find your account and routing number, and enter those on the app, with your debit card? They are the only business in America that requires both the card information and the ban information to do business with them.

So you must use a check, and a card, or call your bank, and spend 10-20 minutes getting those details, just to put it into your phone. Why they need all that requires an explanation.

Until I get one, or until their customer service and sales experience improves, and for making opening a new account such a hassle, only 3 stars from me.

This is a great place, staff is very friendly. I got in on the $10 a month no commitment plan just in the nick of time. Now it's $15 but still super deal. It includes personal trainer classes with Jorge. I just did my first one today and it was awesome. Moesha at the front desk is also super friendly.

Staff unconcerned about public safety. They let people live in their cars in the parking lot for months on end. Members never clean their machines after use. Like the spray is there but none of the members use it. And the staff just looks the other way.

Update: I spoke with this location about this manner. And they said that they have been getting a lot of complaints about him recently. And that he is a member of the gym. So they'll ask him to move his car away from the door. And they asked my opinion on what they should do about members not cleaning the machines. I suggested hanging up signs to let members know that they are responsible for that. I canceled my membership and left.

This PF is too damn small.. literally 7/10 people at this gym have absolutely ZERO spacial awareness. People will pull benches away from the racks or free weight section just to hermit into a corner of the gym and obstruct other peoples designated spaces for exercise. People will lift weight Directly in front of the dumbbell racks and you will have to hunt down Everything. If it can be picked up by the average person, it will not stay where it belongs. Absolutely The Most lawless PF I have ever been in. Even the amount of people living out of there cars in the parking lot is Insane. I don't know how this place is still open!!

I work as a driver and go to a new gym every day. this place is big and bright. There is all the necessary equipment for training. the hall is larger than regular clubs. not very many people. good team. There is a large parking lot around the corner from the building. everything works fine but there is a minus - small, uncomfortable showers 4,8 stars
