Planet Fitness is an awesome gym for the price — the value you get is hard to beat! The facility is always spotless and well maintained, with equipment that’s in great condition. I’ve never had an issue getting a full workout in, even during peak hours — it’s never overcrowded, which makes for a comfortable and stress-free environment. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help with anything you need. Overall, it’s a great place to stay consistent with your fitness goals without breaking the bank. My first time at this gym and I have to say, I’m impressed. Everything is very clean, all the equipment works perfectly, the staff is super friendly, the bathrooms are spotless, the machines are clean, the floors are clean, the mirrors and windows are crystal clear—everything is well maintained. It feels very welcoming. I drive 10 minutes to get here and I have no regrets. I’m definitely making this place my home gym.

I have been going to this Planet Fitness from when they first opened and I have not been dissatisfied. It’s a very clean place from the work out area to the bathroom and outside. The staff is very friendly. It is located in a very safe and convenient area. The equipment is in excellent condition and above all, the membership fee is very reasonable.

When I first joined Planet Fitness, my main complaint was the blaring and hideous music. Now it’s a better selection of tunes (use earbuds anyway so who cares) the equipment is very well maintained and staff is friendly. Give it a try, at 3.30 a.m. it’s empty.

This facility is kept clean by the hard working staff. The manager stays on top of issues. Repairs are done in a timely basis. They even power wash the sidewalk on a regular basis. They have a great variety of equipment. Great gym!

They have fixed 2 of the 3 broken smith machines. I hope they continue to fix all the broken equipment. Great gym for staff and cleanliness. They still get 1 star for the weeks of broken equipment. I gave 1 star and got thanked for giving 5 stars!!!
I have to add on to my review. My initial complaint was that 2 of the 5 smith machines had been broken for over a month. Since my initial review a 3rd smith machine has broken. So 60% broken!
The staff are excellent. The facility is kept very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. They don’t keep up with repairs to broken equipment. 4 weeks and 2 of 5 smith machines are out of service waiting repairs.
Poor equipment maintenance makes me question whether I keep using them? Others have reviewed poor equipment maintenance and were told to talk to manager. The manager seems great and frustrated because she can’t get any one to repair the smith machines.

UPDATE The gym has improved NOW 5 STAR! All machines are fixed now. The staff and cleanliness has always been EXCELLENT. I used to like this gym no I LOVE IT.

Best fitness facility in Mid-cities. PF is a great place to workout. The facility and staff are top notch. My favorite thing about PF is its cleanliness. I have personally watched them lift equipment off the floor to clean under the heavy equipment. They also dust behind the tv’s. All the staff personnel are good but I would like to recognize Rob. He is always working and interacting with the clients. I keep telling him, he has an outstanding personality and should go into something that will take advantage of his personality. Great place to workout!

You can get a decent workout here, if you live to use machines. There’s a wide selection of those to choose from, from weight machines to cardio equipment. Limited selection of dumbbells and barbells, and not much floor space to work with if that’s your preference. Staff is limited, but friendly. The chain boasts that it is a “judgement free zone”—apparently not realizing that there is only one E in the first word and it should be hyphenated (they think it makes them “unique,” as opposed to just ignorant and incorrect). That would be fine if not for the large sign with a blue flashing strobe light on the wall warning that it is a “lunk alarm”—and then going on to define a “lunk” as anyone who grunts, sweats, drops their weights, or drinks water out of a gallon jug while wearing a bodybuilding tank. I dunno, Planet Fitness—sounds pretty judgey to me.

I am undergoing treatment for stage 4 cancer, and my medical team advises me that there is great benefit from regular exercise; no matter how modest the effort. Taking their advice, I have been fairly faithfully exercising for several weeks and it has been a very good experience. First, the facility is convenient, spacious, well-equipped, orderly and clean. But even better than that is the staff… they are absolutely outstanding. They are welcoming and friendly and appear to be genuinely interested in their clients. I look forward to their smiles every time I ‘head to the gym!’

When equipment breaks, it takes forever to repair. There are 5 “racks” that simulate free weights. 2 of these “racks” have been broken for over a month. When I ask the staff on when they will be fixed the answer is “don’t know”

I’ve been going to this location for a while now and love how clean the facility is. I’m giving it four stars instead of 5 because not only are some of the staff quite stingy when it comes to wanting 20 min on a Hydromassage bed, the owners allowed the four beds to go out of order one by one… and now none of them have worked for a couple of weeks now. I know at least one or two of them have been out for almost 2 months.

I mention the stingy part because I was once told that some seniors in this area come in specifically to use these massage beds as a means for physical therapy, and I get it! Those beds bring me back to life especially after leg day! But the fact that these have been out for so long now is making me reconsider this location and go to the less-kept Haltom location.

ETA: 3 of the 4 beds are fixed but they no longer do more than 10 min on them

A really great fitness center and value. I have a standard workout routine of some aerobic work on an elliptical or treadmill, followed by some machines and free weights. This center completely meets my needs in a very comfortable and uncrowded environment. I do come during non-rush times of early morning and evening, so I miss the crowds. I love the environment which is fairly quiet. After being away for a year, i am finally feeling good about going into a fitness center again. I will say I have missed it.

It’s one of the bigger, cleaner Planet Fitness locations out there. I’ve been to locations around DFW and this is by far one of my favorites. Always clean. The staff is consistently friendly. It’s a large enough gym that even during peak hours it doesn’t feel very crowded.

I would not recommend this gym ever to anyone. The staff Taylor to be specific does not know how to clarify their membership terms. Very poor communication skills General Manager she was not very helpful as well. I canceled my membership and still got charged when I asked for a refund their response I’m sorry we can’t help you with that they are quick to charge your account but not to refund it makes no sense!!!

Cancelling my membership. Saw staff use the same duster to dust the equipment AND clean the men's showers. One star because of how gross the men's locker room is kept and how 4 out of 7 days of the week they have no hot water. They have maybe one or two staff members in the morning that actually do work, the rest couldn't care less. Place is a staff infection waiting to happen. No manager on site in the mornings that I could tell. Shame, but it's not getting any better.
