I’m genuinely impressed with all the new gym equipment! It finally feels like a real full-service gym, you can get any kind of workout done here. The new glute machines are incredible, the staff is always friendly, and the place stays consistently clean. Overall, a great upgrade and an even better workout experience!

This place used to be good, clean and very nice staff. New management don’t care, the place is dirty, the staff suck. It’s un motivating and it’s not all staff, it’s the few good ones that rock but that management turned the place around.
I was in an hour before they were closing it down, moving equipment out. I’m in the middle of my run and I get reminded 3 times that they are closing down in 40 minutes.
I left after the manager walks behind me and loudly says “ITS ALMOST 12 and there’s so many people that need to get out”. At that point it’s 11:20 and I decided to leave.

The one star is for the current staff member on duty (11/12 @12:30a) who is consistently non hospitable and unfortunately seems unsatisfied with his position at the club (maybe it’s the overnight shift). At the very least, the front desk person should greet members, not walk past and ignore them as they check in, which is what made me leave the 1 star review for this visit.

This isn’t my home gym, but I’m always at this location because it’s close to work. I just wish there were more staff like Chris (who works the mid shift). He always has the most positive attitude and I actually look forward to seeing his smile when I come in. There’s also another tan gentleman with dark curly-ish hair who’s name I don’t know and even though he isn’t ask extroverted as Chris, he’s always working on the equipment and/or at the desk to help when I have questions with just as much positivity. If it wasn’t for those two guys, this location would definitely be a lot worse than it is.

I wish there was a more passionate and positive 3rd shift team member for this club.

Way better than Fitness connection in Irving! I was hesitant to get back to the gym after the horrible experience I had at Fitness connection. After letting them know that, they made sure to go above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They have 2 red light therapy machines and 2 tanning machines hydromassage chairs, and a good amount of cardio machines and weights. They also are a judgment free zone!

I just joined and have gone about 10 times so far. I’m only in town for a month and needed a place to exercise while visiting family for the summer. I have nothing but good things to say in this review. It is rarely crowded, and the clientele is varied in all ages, shapes and sizes, merely focused on bettering themselves. People are respectful of others and the equipment. Gym is clean and pleasant, well equipped, and unpretentious.

Things have certainly taken a turn since my last review and not for the good. What once was a clean facility all the time is no more. My last 2 visits i was bothered with the damaged and inoperable ( out of order) equipment and the women's bathroom where all stalls but one were DISGUSTING. C'MOM LADIES!!! EWWWW!!! I went to an employee just before starting my workout and he thanked me for telling him but that he was already aware and just hadn't had a free moment to go clean. When I left over an hour later I checked them again still not clean. I took pictures of the equipment. To the owner ... what is our annual fee for if not for replacing equipment? I will say in all fairness some of the machines that are broken are probably because SOME people don't use the equipment the right way or they're using it in a way that can cause it to break. One guy kept using the working leg extension and was letting the weights slam back down. I can imagine that might snap the pulley. Then one guy oddly was using the other leg extension machine that was marked out of order. It was missing the part where you put your legs but he somehow was using the pulley like a biceps curler. Oh em gee lol Just sitting there scrolling his phone with the the other hand. It was bizarre!!! So I'm sure user error attributes to this issue so to the owner is it that people are damaging the equipment quicker than you can replace it but also explain why some machines function but the arm or seat padding is so damaged. Why is that not replaced? Sigh.

It seems that keeping the equipment properly repaired is not a priority anymore. Machine pads are being repaired with black tape where torn and dingy white fabric where it flakes off. Some of the rubber handle grips are torn or altogether missing. This did not just happened as some of this equipment has been this way for weeks now. When I notify the morning or weekend staff it appears to be no big deal to them.

The gym itself overall is good, plenty of equipment and the massage stuff is great! My biggest gripe with this place is two of the morning employees, one with long hair and a chubby one who’s always on his phone playing Dj in rock bot. The restroom facilities need cleaning and every so often there’s no paper towels or that liquid spray to wipe down the machine so we have to leave the machines covered in sweat because those two guys don’t wanna do their job sure every now and then I see one of them vacuum, lazily or dust the machine is very lazily, but it’s just those two who are ruining the experience here at the gym in the mornings. I know I sound like a Karen, but a lot of other people who go to the gym that I’ve spoken to agree they’re very lazy and not maintaining the gym very well unless the bosses are around. I get they have a life and pay bills but dang it’s not hard to do the job.

Mi día de entreno muy AM hoy domingo se me hizo bastante molesto. Un joven rubio de camiseta morada que trabaja en el lugar se me acercó a lugar donde estaba practicando mi entreno y me dijo que debía dejar mi bolsa en los vestidores (lockers) y pues me pareció demasiado extraño ¿Jamás y nunca e visto algún anuncio que tenga ese tipo de información?… en el momento yo dejé el entreno y fui a mi auto a dejar mi bolsa con todas mis pertenecías de entreno como es mi cinturón, espuma, mis audífonos, llaves, celulares y bandas, termos y demás. Regresó un poco incómoda con todo en mis manos y continuó y veo otras personas con su respectiva bolsa en sus lugares practicando su ejercicio y digo aaaaa la molestia del joven fue solo conmigo!!! Porque no es equitativo y si esas son las normas porque no se cumple para todos en general, en ningún lugar de planet me habían salió con este tipo de inconvenientes. Tomo foto de alguien con su bolsa y no veo problema por eso. Esto son lugares muy libres de uno vestir y llevar lo que necesita para su mayor comodidad.

Time slot. Made it tough to get to certain weights. 3 or 4 kids standing all taking one spot at several spots. I maneuvered and made the nest of it. Too many GROUPS of kids hogging up one spot. Buenas tardes fui miembro por muchos años en planet fitness y nunca me quejé de nada.pero hoy cancelé mi membresía porque la señora que entrena a los nuevos miembros siempre cerraba toda una sección para entrenarlos ellos el lugar es pequeño y siempre está muy lleno y la señora cierra toda una sección son más de diez máquinas a las que no tenemos acceso y si ya estás entrenando allí igual te dice que te salgas porque va cerrar la sección para entrenar a los nuevos eso me parece ridículo todos pagamos por igual hoy fui y tenía cerrada la sección donde iba entrenar piernas y fui a buscar las otras máquinas a otra sección y las únicas que estaban libres eran las que están fuera de servicio. El lugar es agradable el personal también pero esa fue la razón por la que decidí cancelar mi membresía

Don’t come here and expect front desk staff to greet you or be kind. You will get ignored and scolded. The girl at the front working right now completely ignored me as I came and checked in I waited for a second and began to go to the spa side of front desk counter- I said excuse me to ask for a tanning bed and she gave me a side eye and said you need to ask for this as soon as you check in. I came a couple steps back to the front part of the desk proceeded to check in again so as to grant her demands and said okay now can I get a tanning bed? She then said me what do I want, I said a lay down and she just told me “3”.

This was extremely professional and being a DM of a major gym chain in the DFW area I would highly Not recommend this business keep her as a staff.

There is only one water fountain and it's not working since weeks. Despite asking mutiple times, it is still fix in progress. A lot of equipment has become old and coming off, before anyone gets hurt it needs an upgrade.

Not sure why but at this location they do not keep up with maintenance on the machines like they do the Las Colinas location. They have 2 Pectoral Fly Machines and one has no cushion at all and the other barely has any padding. I understand machines break but this has been like this for over a year.
