Nice leg, chest and back machines. Perfect for an aging athlete ( martial artist ). I can go heavy without risk of sprains and injuries using the machines instead of straight free weights.

You will get more exercise running between this company and your bank trying get them out of your wallet, than actually working out in their establishment. If you do make the choice to sign a contract with this company don't use your actual back account info for the payment. Also monitor your bank account after you cancel as they will still take your money. I'm posting this review on behalf of friends and family who unfortunately signed up with this company and got stuck in the endless loop of trying to cancel the membership and remove the access they get to your bank account. To many big Greedy companies taking advantage of their customers. Don't ever forget they need us more than we need them.

I came here on a day trial pass and had a lovely experience. I attended 1-4 so it wasn’t a peak time, and the gym foor was quiet and I didn’t have to wait for any equipment. The trainers and staff were super welcoming and friendly. Venentia signed me in and talked me through the facilities, showing me to the red light beds and tanning beds, which were a great additional perk to have. The male personal trainer was also super friendly and gave me some advice about the machines. The machines themselves are great although I found some harder to use due to my height (i’m 5 ft). For example, I couldnt get a full range of motion for the hack squat and the booty kick back machine. I was doing leg day but I couldn’t help but notice there was a great amount of equipment for back and chest, some great fixed machines for chest press and variations of pull downs for back. The cardio equipment was good too, and tv’s with a range of channels available to keep your mind off the burn! The changing rooms were well kept and some good lighting for taking selfies too! I was at this gym 3 hours and the female changing rooms were cleaned atleast twice while I was there. The staff member cleaning was chatty and everyone here just seems so nice. On my way out I spoke to Asia more about the peak gym times and training etc, and she was super helpful giving me all the info I needed. If I could recommend one thing it would be to have some squat racks that aren't fixed bars, but the smith machines were alright for an alternative. Overall the gym was great, the staff were lovely and I’d definitely consider making this my gym when I move to the States this summer. Thanks to the lovely team 🥰

I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation to Planet Fitness for the exceptional care and attention I received today. As part of my regular routine, I visited the gym and attempted a new pre-workout regimen. In my enthusiasm to overcome my current physical challenges, I pushed myself excessively hard, neglecting my body's warnings and attributing them to fatigue. Regrettably, I persisted in my efforts until I began experiencing unusual breathing patterns. Upon completing my workout, I proceeded to the locker room, where I encountered severe dizziness and respiratory difficulties. Thankfully, the staff responded promptly, seeking immediate assistance and providing attentive care. After a brief loss of consciousness, I awoke to find the staff diligently attending to my needs, and I am profoundly grateful for their swift and compassionate response, as well as the assistance provided by the two women who rushed to my aid. Their unwavering commitment to my well-being is genuinely admirable.

Great place to work out,clean,good layout of equipment.Some of the staff are some what rude,and don't really want to answer your questions when you ask them,they will say do you know how to use the app and the code ,just scan it and it will show you what to do,ya I'm calling him out I think his name is .. Milton or something like that I know it starts with a M...... .🤨..but he is young looking and has dreads short ones in his hair,not to friendly,dont like going when he is there.Now a lady named Mrs Jasmine she is just the sweetest,always smiling when your approaching her and takes her time to even show you how to use things.And the trainer they. Have ,Mr Lawrence I think he is great as well, very professional and actually caring about the customers,,and his work.......other then that I would recommend this place just needs to twerk some of the staff....oh and I think it would bring more people in if it was more open to have all races working there,not just one race, variety of people do come all ages,color,sex,gender.....thanks

Never again and please keep all your cancellations paperwork ! I had to cancel my account twice already just to wake up today and find they changed the name of the charge in my bank statement after I canceled my account months ago and blocked them ! The charged it under “ABC as the merchant “ navy federal told me a lot of clients are going through the same thing with PLANET FITNESS locations and they are privately owned and don’t like to give money back even if there in the wrong ! You will have to get a new checking account and debit cards. All they did is make me appreciate Crunch more . Planet fitness will not help you at all and location was awful everything was broke …no water ….

It's a clean enough gym with enough equipment that you can achieve a decent sweat or your fitness goal. But after my home location gym closed for quite some time, I was forced to explore other nearby gyms and was honestly surprised about how much more I got out of other gyms for the same price! More equipment, group classes, etc. So yeah, good gym but there are better out there w 7 days of free trials available so you can see what you're signing up for and getting into.

I have been a long time member of planet fitness. However, the quality of service, in regards to cleanliness has declined. They are NOT enforcing the rule of wiping down the machines. The new location in South Killeen is currently closed for “unexpected required maintenance” (at least that’s what the sign says). I think its due to Staph infections. I have never in my life had a Staph infection, but have gotten two of them since I joined the South Killeen location and I barely had time to workout. The hydro beds and any equipment that has benches or places where you sit can be the culprit , idk! The point is, I’m not paying $28 per month to keep getting infected! I’m not telling you not to go there, but something is up and they’re hiding it! So, I’m choosing to stay away from this place for good. You do what you want with this info, but don’t say you weren’t warned!

This place is awesome, so I took a friend who joined silver sneakers, and the membership is really reasonable. Plus I get to visit with him as his guest😜 The staffing is very friendly and very knowledgeable about their jobs. Ms. Carolina is always waiting with the smile and a wave. Also, there's always a young gentleman named chris to help my friend and I check in. Lol🤣 When we come to the gym. We will get it right one day, Chris. There are so many different machinery's. There are massage chairs in the backs and glow machines to help with body and skin tone. Of course, they have a couple of tanning beds also. Come in and check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed 😉

I’m new to the Killeen area but have a lot of experience with PF. IMO, this is the best PF of the two in the city. Of the two locations, this place is not as busy and has just as much equipment. It is not as new as the other location and it’s in ‘the hood’ but the staff is friendly and helpful.

I’d give this place 5 stars BUT the staff likes to turn up the gym stereo too loud. 95% of people that go to this gym have their own headphones/music. The gym’s music is loud enough that I can still hear it through noise canceling headphone. I’ve asked them to turn it down in the past but the next day it is loud again.

The employees are very respectful and polite. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoy going here because the people do not disrupt you. Might be a little packed at times, however the machines are not always being used and you will have a chance to use whatever you want, because people don’t stay on the machines the whole day. Very enjoyably place to workout. Highly recommended!

Great place will come again.

Wanted to try the other PF in Killeen as it is now on my way home from work. I was happy with the check in process as I didn’t know if I needed to to anything different. I wasn’t shown around but I did walk around. I hope to see about getting some physical training done with Law and try to get this plateau broken. Will be coming again to exercise.

I do miss that the machines aren’t able to connect to my Apple Watch like the other gym across town. I hope that they will be upgrading them in the future.

Started here a while back. 99% of the gyms here are packed from 5am until 9pm. This one isn't. The staff is super friendly, the trainer is great (hell, you get a free meeting/workout/diet), the amenities are on par as well. The one negative about PF in general is the lack of free weight equipment. That's it. It'll do the job though and I love it there!

My husband and I were Planet Fitness members in NY.... loved it, especially the Stretch Cage. 20 min. before and after our workout (we're older, so more stretching means less soreness). So we moved to TX, (Killeen) super excited that we found a PF and signed up for the Black Card, that room for Black Card Members?!... we'll definitely make use of.... and that they also had a Stretch Cage. We go to workout, and the Cage is gone! "To make rm for other equipments" the Staff said.... they see the Cage just chillin at a warehouse? Please, please bring back the Cage....or at least put it in the new location in Harker Heights 🙏🏾🙏🏼we'd greatly appreciate it so much.
