I've probably been to most of the fitness clubs on the planet and I can say that this one is good. I especially want to note the abundance of sports people visiting this place. The gym is clean, the showers are clean, all the equipment is in working order, in the evening there were no crowds of people standing in line in the gym 😄 and they have a new type of massage chairs, and there are also shelves in the showers, but there are no changing rooms, in general a solid 4++

As an exchange student, I trained at Planet Fitness thanks to a promo they were offering I believe it was around $20, super affordable.
It fully met all my needs during that time.
The environment is comfortable and welcoming, and the staff was really nice.

Joined SPECIFICALLY for use of the rowing machines... and they are NEVER in working condition since I changed to this location after moving here from Austin. Zero attempt to correct the situation,
just told "yea, they've never worked since we bought them"... Extremely poor service in my book! Not worth going for more disappointment 😔

I have tried to cancel and they will not cancel. I moved to a different county. I have called my bank but they want to cancel my card. I am disabled and was told the price would be one thing but I got a different price. Beware once you sign up then you will never cancel. We started with the appetizers, but they were disappointing, so we barely ate them. Next, we ordered the Goat Family Pack Biryani, which cost $55, but it was extremely disappointing and inedible. The food was not fresh at all. As Desi people, we know what good food should taste like, and this was far from it. I strongly recommend avoiding this place, especially for biryani.

I used to be fat and scared to approach any public gym… and then after doing extensive research to find something suitable for me, I landed at planet fitness. Not only is it a great atmosphere, it also has some of the nicest equipment and amenities that I love! There are massage chairs and even tanning beds. I’m slightly less fat now but I enjoy this gym and strongly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a place to start. Carrie the general manager has done an outstanding job!

Where to start? This gym was ok when I first got my membership, but has completely gone down hill since. Majority of the equipment is extremely worn, or to the point of unusable. When you ask about it, like at most retail stores, ur told that new equipment is on back order, and that they don't have enough maintenance workers to repair it. It doesn't matter what time of day or night you show up, the place is NEVER clean. I get that it's tough to keep up with, but at least clean the mirrors so a person can see themselves during their set. The worst part of it, is that they have enough employees to at least keep up with basic cleanliness, but including management, they are ALWAYS just sitting behind the front desk holding the walls up and talking to each other. I find it humorous that they are quick to remind you if you're a few days past due on your membership, but always have an excuse for out of order equipment for months, and a staff that couldn't be bothered. Furthermore, please don't give me the excuse that it's just "Planet Fitness." This same Planet Fitness is getting at least 25 dollars a head per month! If there were only 100 people signed up, that's 2500 a month! I don't know where the money goes, but it sure as hell isn't going into new equipment and training your staff.

I love this location. Nathan and Rae are great but i think her name is Aurora, at the front was really mean yesterday. I was talking to another employee and she needed the other member's membership info. When he was explaining he had a day pass, Aurora kept rolling her eyes and giving the other employee bad looks. It wasn't anything towards me but I don't like to be in that type of environment. Just feels bad.

I bought a 1-year membership some time ago. The PF employee who drew up the forms misrepresented the contents of the contract and the billing practices of the gym. Mostly are the staff is friendly except when 1 guy is working the overnight hours. He is here on Wednesday and Thursday night. Tall color guy. CANCELATION :
I give this place itself 4 stars because the facility is good. HOWEVER, I went to cancel my membership (my contract states no fees if canceled before February), and they still tried to charge me $62.79! Per my co tract, a Planet Fitness + membership does not have to pay a buyout fee. The lady at the desk tried telling me it's because it's past December 10th (Still 2 month before February, and also not April - when they charge annual fees) Finally she called another gentleman over and he looked up my contract, saw that I was correct, and he waived the fee and let me go. The cancelation is TERRIBLE. They only allowed me to go in person, and then want to force me to pay the fee, or keep paying monthly and also an annual fee because I want to cancel. It's not that hard to have a simple 'cancel membership' button on the app. They sent me an email as well, to which I told them all this, and than they asked me why I was upset when they waived the fee?! To which I told them I canceled before February, as my contract states, therefore I owe them no fee at all. As the gentleman saw, and that's why the fee was waived. Waiving a fee doesn't give y'all 5 stars. Prying for money or you won't be able to cancel gives you the 1 star you deserve.

(EDIT: Planet Fitness is trying to make me seem like I don't understand how monthly fees work in their reply. I do. I pay them. No issues there as I paid them the $27 a month (also for December. ) They didn't read the part where I said my annual fee is in April and not December. The issue is the cancelation fee they wanted me to pay, which they didn't even mention in their reply because they know they are wrong for that. )

I love the gym. What I don't love is that people are playing on the phone at workout machine and I have to stand and wait for the person to stop texting or playing an app. Today, a guy literally spent 15 minutes talking on a phone at the preacher curls machine and there were 3 employees just hanging out at front desk and not one of them walked the floor to monitor. I do cardio workout and knock out 12 workouts in 30 minutes. Today, I spent 52 minutes. Disappointing

The place is lit and arranged like a hospital. Dull and dreary. Idk why this gym and it’s positioning of equipment feels outdated and uninspired compared to other locations. They need to freshen up the atmosphere and maybe add a rack or two extra since it appears the squat/bench machines are just sitting spots for majority of the patrons. Potential for five star here

If you move, make sure to cancel this while you still can do it in person. If not they will want you to jump through a bunch of hoops to do it. Pro tip - they will tell you to send a certified letter or they can't close it and there is "no other way". But if you just keep calling and being "difficult" they will eventually admit that you can do it through email just to be rid of you. What do you know....amazing! There IS another way! Who'd have guessed?
As for your response....WHY is that the policy?? In person, so a salesman can try and pressure you out of it? Certified letter because people are statistically likely to forget or give up? If it was honest and transparent, then, in 2022, it would be a simple button on a website membership. You know why it isn't. Don't play like you don't.
