Gym has a good spread of machines and is kept clean with friendly staff.

However, the music is kept ridiculously loud to where I have to turn up my own almost all the way to hear it over their's while wearing earbuds. If you don't have noise cancelling earbuds/headphones, prepare to either put up with not being able to hear your own audio or blasting your own ear drums. I understand why they have music playing, but come on!

Recently, I had reported a peeping Tom in the men's shower area to the desk clerk on duty and contact police as well. Was told by the desk clerk that the manager was going to be notified and should hear back from him when he gets in. She also mentioned that corporate will be notified too. Didn't hear from the manager so I called the gym to speak to him. He said there wasn't much that could be done and would reach back to the police and give a call afterwards. Still no call back from him, but I still decided to make a report to corporate by email. Still waiting to see if anything will be done to this peeping Tom or is he going to continue invading people's personal privacy. Doesn't seem like I'm being taken seriously about this situation.

Planet Fitness allows people to falsely accuse people of bad things without even looking into it (seriously all you'dhave to do is look at the camera footage, thats all I ask. They could also document the accusers' names, so in the future they could have a record and see if its the same person constantly accusing others, but they don't do that either. And lets say that same accuser accuses someone of a crime in the future, these documents could actually help law enforcement in a possible case, freeing an innocent person from prison. But they don't care). This is the fourth time its happened, and instead of looking at the cameras to see if its true, they just come to you and ask you to stop it. It hurts. Not to mention you have no idea if they're going to accuse you of worse things in the future. You are now in a place full of people and every single one of them is a possible enemy. You have no idea which one. This same accuser is probably telling others the same thing, pointing their finger at you for something you didn't do. You are now the creep of the gym, and for doing nothing but minding your own business, as everyone should. Then the person that makes these accusations gets to go about their days with zero consequences. Its one of the many things I hate about this world. The worst people never have to face any consequences. The same person that accused me a few years ago got an employee fired for sexual harrassment, and corporate never even looked into it, they just fired him because its easier on them. The 3rd time someone said I said all kinds of mean hurtful things to her. I don't say mean things to people, I know what its like to be on the edge and ready to end it all so I am very careful what I say to others. Nor do I "stare" at anyone (and if I did that would mean my accuser would have to be staring at me to know this anyway, its so stupid). I won't be a member here much longer, I just gotta get my car back now. Seriously screw this place. Some people need to get over themselves. If they don't want someone looking in the vacinity of where they are for a second or two, they need to get a home gym. I'm not gonna stare at the floor all hours of every day if it makes you more comfortable, I'm not doing that. Mind your business and get over yourself. Trust me I have no interest in you or anyone else for that matter. While I stay to myself I will not put my head down for you, LEAVE ME ALONE.

8/8/25 afternoon. Travel a lot for work. And need a planet fitness anywhere in Texas. THIS ONE is the most cleanest, abundantly equipped and has the energy of the Holy Ghost in here. I’m a clean freak and OCD. First time here and I am pleasantly surprised and relieved that humans still care about being great at what their job is. Outstanding 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I had a membership here and loved it . Hit some hard times lost my job and my car I called and was told I had to come in person so I had my mom take me I went in talked to some girl that no longer works there she looked me up did some stuff and said I was all good . I'm not at a point where I can go back just to set up my account go one day and then my account is blocked. I go in and ask why and I'm told I owe over 400$ ! The girl never canceled it . Ane because I literally had my life flipped upside down and don't have access to the email anymore they told me I have to pay they offered to take 50$ off . I did my part as told so I won't be going back I found a new gym .

This gym was filthy! The showers are moldy and in bad repair. Not to mention the wads of hair left in the shower drain. The locker rooms are always disgusting. Dirty floors, toilets, and sinks. You can't get to any equipment due to the guests that "park" themselves on the machines and play on their phones. Staff is friendly but lazy..

Still busy even after a new location in the area and adding new machines to this location. It’s in a convenient location and the staff cleans well enough, but they are not very helpful. I don’t like that the 30 minute workout area is treated like the rest of the gym. No rotating at all! Just camping on whatever they need. No enforcement of rules. I’ve been using this location for 2 years and have seen and talked to many employees and nothing changes.
Changed from 3 to 2 star today since I just got turned away due to not being open past 9pm on the weekends…that’s great for the employees I guess maybe they will be happier.

Joined about a week ago, since my husband and many of our neighbors have been coming here since they opened and I LOVE IT! I switched over from Scarlet Barbell simply for the air conditioning, but i'm now spoiled by all the amenities. They hydro-massage chairs, the tanning beds, the air conditioning. Most of the machines even have a timer/counter. Every time you a do a rep it counts it for you, and it counts your rest time. The place is super super clean, the music isn't too loud, the TVs all work. The machines are cleaned and oiled appropriately (no squeaking) and it's an overall fantastic environment. I have the black card membership for less than $30 per month and I can use all the amenities, and I can bring someone (who is not a member) for free anytime.

So I belong to the one in Conroe the north side of Conroe but I've been to that one and the one in the south side of Conroe can't really sound terribly impressed with either location tanning beds at the North location never have all the work involves in fact I'd say the last time I was there half of them were out staff is always on their phone they don't seem to know much about the equipment it just seem a little on the lazy side to me it's the same way with the south side everybody's on their phone that the location here it's the complete opposite I did not see one employee on their phone they went out of their way they understood the equipment the tanning bed was in working order all the lights were on and I didn't see one of the staff on their phone and it was about a billion times cleaner bathrooms were 100% nicer showers are decent size whereas the ones in Conroe are more like a tiny cubicle. The whole experience was 100% better I really wish I lived on this side of town exemplary staff exemplary facility I just wish it was closer to where I live.

The staff were courteous and welcoming, but the biggest draw were the fellow gym members. I rely on a wheelchair to get around, and I have experienced several gym members offering and providing assistance. They even informed me when one of the machines was not working, before I transitioned to the seat. Overall, I have had outstanding experiences, and if anyone asked about finding a gym, Planet Fitness is going to be my recommendation!

Don’t like the fact that I have to go out of my way to cancel my membership in person or to risk the usps to actual get a letter delivered to them. Might as well go to my bank and cancel all payments to them.

Edit: I could easily sign a paper saying to cancel and email it in as a pdf with my signature. And even online it states that it is up to the gym location to set how this done with gyms being able to allow online cancellations.

Items get stolen, and when cops request video footage, staff/managers lies about cameras not working to protect employees. (Was told other times they do work!)
Several staff members who have been hired over time will get high outside while on the clock.
Bathrooms are disgusting. Especially the shower stalls that look like they have mold on the shower tiles. If you tell them the shower heads aren't working, it seems to take them months to do any maintenance. Hot water? Nah. Within a minute turns cold.
Use to enjoy this place, but it's really gone downhill over the last year. With the annual fee and blackcard fee, you'd think things would be cleaner and in working order. Don't hold your breath, or they'll be the reason you just passed out waiting for them to fix anything.

Great gym, chill atmosphere, and always friendly staff! Have been enjoying working out with Planet Fitness since November of 2019, can’t say I want to be anywhere else at the time being! Would be nice however if they offered more workout classes at different times, especially on the weekends since I work Monday through Friday during the times they are offered. Otherwise, enjoying coming here and they have plenty of machines to go around! It’s a perk to have the massage chairs and hydrotherapy beds as well!!
I have the Black Card membership :) only $24 a month.

Update:
So I have since changed gyms, as of April 2024, due to the drive and locations being inconvenient.
Just note CERTAIN locations have overfilled trash bins in the ladies restrooms and may be kind of gross. lol
Otherwise, still a great gym for the cost!

Assistant manager Edwin is racist. I’m a disabled vet that has 15 screws in my foot so i have to wear certain prescribed shoes. Edwin advised i could not were them even though they were closed toe and provided full support as the shoe policy states. Not to mention there were 2 other white males wearing similar shoes. I attempted to cancel my membership online after being put out of the gym only for it to tell me i have to do it at the location. I called and spoke with the assistant manager who processed the cancellation of my membership with a really nasty attitude. I advised him of my disability and he said “oh well you didn’t tell me you have a disability” i didn’t know i needed to announce my disability in front of the entire gym and staff. He then proceeded to over talk me and attempt to argue at which time i asked for the number to corporate and he advised they are privately owned so there is no corporate number. I asked when will the manager be on duty and he stated “she will be here tomorrow and so will i if it’s an issue” In a very confrontational tone. He must be new because I’ve been going there 3/4 times a week for over 6 months with these very shoes every-time and never had an issue. ITS 2024 AND UNFORTUNATELY RACIST PEOPLE LIKE EDWIN STILL EXIST. Thankfully i still have my Lifetime fitness membership.

I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the convenience of your facility and the consistently excellent service provided by your staff. I have been a loyal member and have always enjoyed working out in a welcoming environment.

However, I’ve recently noticed a decline in the cleanliness of the facility. During my visits, I’ve observed that some areas are not being maintained to the standards I’ve come to expect, with several machines appearing broken or in need of repair. These issues have made my workout experience less enjoyable, and I wanted to bring them to your attention in the hopes that they can be addressed.

Cancelled my membership over a month ago due to unrecognized charges that were going unfixed. After cancellation, I’m still receiving this charged of $42.11 EVERY month!!! I gave PF my debit card when I enrolled online. They had no problem getting their money every month but kept charging me late fees. Twice in Dec of 23, and every month after that. No body called me, emailed me or texted me about any issues. They just kept late charging me - 9 times in total. I want those late fees BACK.
After speaking with someone at the store, I was told it was my fault. Right.
Who needs to belong to a place like that? They don't say anything but just kept doing the WRONG THING.
I don't need it.
To the owner: I just had a knee replacement so going to talk to a manager isn't an option. Just get involved (new concept?) and refund the $ 135.00 in late fees. While you're at it determine who was responsible for ripping me off. FIRE THEM.

Moved farther way from the original place I had the membership. Asked them how to cancel and they said that I had to go to the place I signed up or send in a letter saying a wanted to cancel. They didn’t cancel my account after I sent the mail and have continued to take money out for the past few months.

Just moved over here a few months back. It’s too small in my opinion; I use to go to the one on fairmont in pasadena and that one was way bigger. If there’s too many people it seems crowded here
