Ive been a member at golds for 3 years and a member at true fit for 2 years this is my 3rd day at planet fitness and already i can give you my honest opinion im disappointed in the lack of professionalism employees have at this location had the nerve to jokingly tell me ((((CALL CORPORATE SEE WERE THAT GETS YOU))) i feel im not the first person they've said this too with how confident they sounded just to name few issues not refilling disinfectant bottle 2 days in a row while reminding them twice a day for 2 days employees just hanging out on there phone texting gaming talking on phone or talking in between co wokers not paying no mind as well as not knowing how to operate equipment properly then coming off botherd while showing you or when asking to refill disinfectant bottle not scanning peoples card just waving them through yet kicking me out for asking why they were checking my card again when they just scanned my card and turned on the hydro therapy chair on for me not to mention yelling at me to use my brain that because im a black card member meanwhile contradicting himself and letting other people just walk in without scanning cards what's the difference between scanning ones card to use equipment vs message chair they both require a membership not to mention i was already there they had already turned it on once yet people coming in from outside just go in without scanning i couldnt make it make sense his excuse was i know most of them so not all of them right?? And that makes it okay isnt this how we track crowd metter yet instead of de escalating the situation they did the complete opposite i even had to try to talk to someone else yet (JUAN THE MANAGER)on duty wouldn't let me just kept telling me they work for him meanwhile pointing at his name tag as if he was some sort of god other (EMPLOYEE ADRIAN)just added to the escalation yelling at me to use a little of my brain i just said okay walked away sat on a couch in black card room got on my phone next the employee and manager start walking toward me in a threatening manner saying you gotta go i dont know what our attitude is about etc. etc.i said ill leave if your asking me to leave meanwhile while trying to intimidate me by walking up behind me close enough were i felt threatened and uncomfortable i advised them not to touch me if there asking me to leave ill leave meanwhile talking behind my back as i walked away saying CALL CORPORATE SEE WERE THAT GETS YOU IN A JOKING MANNER & making other smart alec remarks i felt humiliated bullied and threatened if they needed me to leave they could of kindly asked me to leave if not you call the cops not try to play security it dont take 2 people to ask one person to leave especially standing behind them BIG NO NO especially for those with [PTSD]absolutely unacceptable this is a perfect example of [WHAT NOT TO DO] at this point I don't feel comfortable going back I feel disappointed for putting my trust in planet fitness [DO BETTER PLANET FITNESS]

My local gym. I love it here, clean and not crowded. Machines are new and updated frequently. I have been coming here for close to 4 years, and service has been consistently good. You see the same people and everyone is respectful and focused on themselves. Awesome place to belong.

Really liked this PF. Had a really nice shower, plenty of space for my toiletries in the shower stall, actual hooks outside the shower, and best of all clean. Only gripe is the row machine is old and no paper towels in the spa.

I’ve been to every planet gym location in the valley and I always come back to pharr. Staff is amazing, cleanliness is great . Great music every time so doesn’t make me feel bad when my headphones die. It’s rare when machines are out of order. For the price staff goes above and behind. The chik fil a of planet locations. Highly recommend! Especially kudos to the management team especially Juan! He has helped me out on multiple occasions when I forget my tag he never gives me a hard time!

Las instalation bien, y la entrenadora Arlette es la mejor de lo mejor, pero la musica que tienen es la mas aburrida y eso hace que me desmotive a ir.

Best Planet fitness in the valley. Staff always greets you and constantly cleaning the gym in all hours that I go. Went to neighboring Planet fitness in Alamo, bunch of trash and not even a hi from staff. Staff at Alamo and Edinburg Planet Fitness’s never greet you and are always on their phone. You can imagine how the gym floor looks. Complete difference at Planet fitness Pharr Tx. Management team is top tier and their staff are always on the A game. One thing I wish you guys would have is a better selection of energy drinks and the ability to request music. Overall, great gym to go workout in. I have liked planet fitness since around 2015 when I became a member for the first time. Unfortunately, relocations and injuries sometimes have led me to abandon my fitness goals. However, I like that Planet Fitness almost always has a location near me that I can join. I also like the fact I can use my black card benefits everywhere! Hi ladies just to let everybody know I was at the gym early morning today and there was a Man in the women's bathroom. He was wearing a blue shirt and brownish pants and had a lot of tattoos on his arms. I was watching him walking around the gym, he wasn't wearing gym attire and seemed out of place awkwardly looking at women like a pervert. He then asked a lady where the man's bathroom was and he went in there,...but then .....came out and walked straight into the women's bathroom. He was in there for a good while about 10min then some lady walked in there after about 5min she came out with him showing him it was the women's bathroom.
He acted like he made a mistake and then walked out of the gym . Please always make sure your looking carefully of your surroundings when your at the gym. Management please view your cameras it happened today between 7 and 9 this morning!

A mi me gusto mucho, tengo 5 semanas Ahi, voy con mi esposo, está limpio siempre, la recepción da la informacion de inscripción pero cuando se trata de programar aparatos jamás te dan una recomendación o explicación de para que sirve hablando del spa.

Lo que me hizo quedarme fue la excelente atención de Arlett a mi me encanta, sufro Un poco por que la entrenadora los martes entra muy tarde y yo entreno en las mañanas y pues le cambian el turno, y los jueves no está! Debe haber entrenadora todos los días, y ella se preocupa por dejarnos rutinas Un día antes cuando no la vamos a ver pero no es igual, ademas es bilingüe, ojalá consideren que esté más horas por que me siento muy a gusto con ella.

También tienen reglas sobre las vestimentas que no se respetan, hay que darle Un repaso a eso a su personal por favor por q hay mucha gente luego enfrente y pues deben cuidar más los detalles.

El ambiente es agradable, el clima se cuida mucho, higiénico, muy completo, ojalá me tomen en cuenta, cuando pueda ver todos los días a la entrenadora subiré las estrellas

I’ve been coming to this gym for a few months, and I love the atmosphere and cleanliness.My favorite part is the trainer, she’s been so encouraging and supportive of me and my fitness goals. What I don’t like is they have limited days with the trainer, so I’m not able to get guidance or have the most support the days I’m able to go. Considering transferring to the Alamo location since they have a trainer everyday of the week!

So I was a black card member until I got my membership canceled from this location by employee who had been very rude from the start name adrian originly me and my brother where sharing an account black card member as well that we open in Canada they didn't explain that we had to come together and adrian approche me very rude telling me that I wasn't the person under the name even tho my name was on the membership as guest and instead of him explaining me what I could of done or offerd me a new membership he said that it wasn't his problem and walked away so I open a new black card membership under my name not my brother and today he approached me with an attitude and threaten me and canceled my membership even insulted me I don't understand how you have employees like these everyone else there are super friendly exectp him he could of approached with a different attitude and help me but he choose to insult me threaten me and canceled my membership my whole family is uses pf and we are all black card members at this point I'm having everyone cancel the membership I hope planet fitness checks their employee idk if it's a race thing je has against me or what but no customer should be treated like this ! Adrian should be fired and definitely need some help with his attitude and customer service

I have been utilizing another nearby location. While it seems like the professionalism of the staff has dramatically improved, there are still some issues present.

The 30-minute express circuit workout area is now seemingly ignored, and the Express Light is not working. I notified the staff and he just said "we know"....

The lack of professionalism at this location is always at an all-time high! I found myself dreading going to this location, and I’ve just been paying for my membership for months without going, because that’s how much I dread the staff in this environment. Somehow, they always find opportunities to show lackluster customer service skills and also, it’s always apparent how lazy they are, I’m not even sure why they have jobs. Today I made the decision to go ahead and see about canceling my membership because I don’t see myself going back to that gym and all of the other locations are a bit far from me. When I went onto the application and I noticed that I owe $15 for a “other fee”. I wasn’t sure what this could be so I checked on my information for my membership and I see that my annual fee is $49 and my monthly fee is $10.83. So I called the location to ask them what the fee was for, and they informed me that the membership cost has gone up, which I was not notified of at any point. I expressed to the lady that I’m not sure if that’s the case as to why I am showing that charge because I already have my account paid up and when I see the next draft date for the 17th it says they will draft $10.83, my normal fee. She went on to tell me that if I wanted to discuss anything and cancel my membership, it would need to be in person but I wanted to make clarity with this $15 “other fee”. Instead of taking the time to explain anything to me, the Lady just simply put the phone down all together and went on to help other customers. Within a couple of minutes, she disconnected the line and I called back numerous times, and there was no answer. I would like a prompt follow up from a manager to resolve my concern immediately.

This is by far the cleanest Planet Fitness I have been to. Staff is super friendly and looks like they are always on top of keeping the gym clean and sanitized. This Planet Fitness was doing great in the beginning now it just look like they lost it. Don't even get greeted at the door anymore. Plus TV's ONLY go to CH 8 the most you can get from the mechanics. Mechanics and outlets weren't working couldn't changer my phone.

Moving to Alamo hope they do better than HERE! This is my last chance. Before I cancel my membership 👋
