This is the absolute cleanest location in San Antonio! Sheila and Stephanie are great! Every morning when I am discouraged to be at the gym Sheila is there to greet me and motivate me to do my best! She is absolutely so helpful and sweet. It feels good to know when I am working out the equipment is clean because this lady is always on her cleaning game! At the end of my workout she is there to offer me the hydro bed or body enhancing machine, I call it the salsa dance! I will NOT go to any other gym as long as she is here! They do need mirrors in the other areas to spread the traffic a bit more… just my opinion.

This has got to be the worst experience I’ve ever had with a gym. I thought “maybe they are charging me under the false assumption that I wanted the premium package with the aqua message table and all. What I found out from having to take off from work to discuss why I am being charged so much is they charged on an automatic withdrawal claiming they had to charge double because they didn’t get their money on time. Umm hello it is automatic withdrawal. Why would you month after month continue this behavior without contacting the customer if some billing issue is going on that you deem the need to charge double? “Profit above customers” not a sustainable business model with all your competitors out there. If there is some failure to communicate internally between the branch of your business that collects funds and the main trunk that interacts as the face of your company with the public then that’s a YOU problem that should be addressed, not a perpetual fleecing of customer’s bank account just because you have all the signed paperwork to get money off them. Times are tough out here and reputable business like HEB or Bill Millers that pride themselves on customer first and acquiring that reputation that “we” are part of your community too, is why loyalty and customer retention has placed these companies second to none. How many more customers are you doing this to? Crunch Fitness, Gold’s and a dozen others are out there keep on shopping is my recommendation. Oh and for you nay sayers you could look on my profile and all other profiles that I write reviews on that I have only wrote positive feedback/comments.

I come early in the mornings and the gym is always very well maintained. Sheila works overnight and always has a smile in the morning when I arrive. Sometimes I come later in the day and the gym isn't as clean or organized but I typically stick to early mornings for that reason.

The members there have a bad habit of parking outside the marked parking spots. Normally, 3 cars to many on each row cause cars to be close to those in front of the building. Also, it is making traffic a little tight. There's nothing the staff can do about it. It's up to those that own the parking lot.

I've been coming to Planet Fitness San Antonio (MacArthur Park) almost every day since June 2023, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! There is always something wrong with this location whether is equipment or the restrooms...for over a week the mens handicapped toilet has been out of order and still is along now with the only other toilet also out of service, I called to front desk to find out where we use the restroom since no one at The front desk has a clue.. management needs to do better and staff needs to stop standing behind that counter only! Equipment and facilities can be cleaned a lot better then they are!

Been coming for couple years now every morning. Lost my card lord knows when, but I have EFT info on file for both of my memberships. Was denied entry this morning for no bank CARD on file. Membership is current with no balance due. That’s why I have I my bank info on file for drafts. Keep in mind I come with just my phone, headphones, keys. No wallet it’s early morning workouts for a reason.

Very attentive caretaker. Finding it can be tricky. Be sure to download your offline maps before coming. When you want to navigate here, type the name of the villa into your Google maps to find it while using your offline maps. It came right up. I was gonna join this gym. The gym itself is okay, good, but they wanted. My bank account number not just my credit card. They wanted my bank account number and swift code. I have never in my 60 years. Have I ever given anybody my bank account number unless I'm doing a wire transfer. Why would a gym for a month to month membership? Want my bank account number. Am I the only one that thinks that is, this the strangest thing you've ever well? Nevertheless, that I will not sign up to that gym. Because I'm not giving some random planet fitness. That kind of information. I mean, name birth date bank account number. Give me a break whoever set that up on their end is an idiot. And anybody that's willing to give them their bank account number is a bigger idiot. All I wanted was a month to month plan. I didn't want to sign up for a year. And that's a relevant. I have a debit card money in the bank. Nobody needs to know my bank account number. When I do months a month with any other services? Nobody needs my bank account number. It has nothing to do with. All I wanted was a month to month, not you to charge me every month?

Sometimes that PF black card membership just comes in handy! I had to take my son to track practice for Special Olympics. He needed to change out of his work clothes and I needed a rest room as there were none at the track. There was. PF a few blocks away, and we were able to change. LaPaula or whatever her name is was so unhelpful and time wasting. The first thing I said to her was, I just cancelled my membership and want to re open it. She instructed me to do so on the planet fitness app on my phone. I signed up for a new black card. She then could not find my new membership on her screen. She then told me to sign up on their kiosk. Nope. I selected day pass so I could get on with my day. She then said she found my previous membership and oh, you just cancelled it. Which was previously stated. Then she said she misheard or misunderstood me. Useless and wasteful.
